- This is one way of making a moving platform using a custom loop. My loop starts as soon as the game start, but you can customize it to work with your game using timers and other nodes to set a limitation.

thanks, i liked that i was able to follow this and get one going in under ten minutes.. i used a skeletal mesh insted of a cube and i need it to rotate 90 degrees and move to another location. that is going to be my next thing to learn lol.

hello, rather than the cube i used a platform taken from internet, but this doesn't move, why?
my platform disappears as soon as i press play :-( i have no idea why, i followed the instructions to a t

Well how do you set a distance
You set the distance and speed of movement inside of the timeline. You can refer to the video starting from 1:00. Please. let me know if you have any other questions.
Please, don't use that branch/set loop, it's not worth it. There is a checkbox in your Timeline that can enable looping and save you the trouble.

you can also just tick the loop box in the time line to loop it no need for the rest
