    You can also use a plane instead of a decal.

    Awesome man. Other tutorials on decals were outdated. They didn't mention I needed to change the 'blend mode'.

    excellent. I'd love to figure out how to make the background surface transparent so that all that is visible is the PNG...?

    Looks like they changed things in the engine again. There is no Decal Blend Mode anymore. Any idea what to do now?

    I'm doing all the same and is not working with me with unreal 4.27 :s
    The only place that i can use a decal properly is in a plane. If its a simple block for example dosent work. :s

    Thanks man! So, my pictures are squashed. :( How can I import rectangle images? Thx

    • @CrisTechCuts
      @CrisTechCuts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may have to control the depth of the decal by using the arrows. Importing rectangle images shouldn’t be any different from how it’s done in the video, the difference would be in the height and width of the decal.

      Thanks. I find another answer: I edited the image, and I placed image to square and i exported to png. I placed the image to cube and I cropped the cube, and I get what I want. Thanks!
