I don't think I did an official assessment post when he first arrived. The people that got him from the pet store he was in, likely saved his life. He was being abused and had parasites inside and out as he was wild caught as an adult.
The external parasites have been taken care of but are still fighting internal parasites. He is completely blind in his left eye, which makes him a little easier to handle but doesn't really affect his ability to take care of himself. We have a lot of work to do as far as building trust, and he is still behind the eight ball in regards to health. But he IS making progress.
