I would really like to see a review of the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO working, I think it is an update of these. Greetings and happy new year🎉
I have both the ak620 and the ps120 Evo and the ak620 is like 1-2c cooler its also easier to install but the towers feel flimsy compared to the Evo and the gap between the towers is a lot narrower which makes it hard to stick my al120v2
Switched from the Freezer II 280 ARGB to this PS120 3 months ago (5900X). There is only 2-3 degrees between the two at max load but temps are literally the same while playing games. Not going back to AIO.. ;)
Air coolers have moved on, both in build quality and cost, especially air coolers. I think what you've seen shows that, if you buy the right air cooler, you don't really need an AIO. I would say though it can differ depending on your use case and game.
Hello! I'm a Japanese person looking for a new cooler, and Jimbo's video was very helpful and easy to understand! This video was posted 9 months ago, but has there been any coolers on the market in the meantime that are better than the Thermalright Phantom Spirit and cost less than $50? If so, please let me know. By the way, I wouldn't mind it going up another $10 or so.
Hey! Thanks for the video! As an intense person (😅) I’m still deciding, what would you choose for an intel i5 13600k/14600k: 1. TP Assassin 120 for $51 usd 2. TP Assasin 120 but the SE for $42 usd 3. TP Phantom Spirit 120 for $53 usd 4. TP Phantom Spirit 120 but the SE for $38 usd 5. Deep cool ak620 (NOT the digital one) for $59 usd 6. Deep cool ak620 (THE digital one) for $78 usd It wouldn’t bother me to spend a few dollars more if you recommend me to buy the most expensive one of this list if you think it’s worth it. The space is not a problem and db it’s a bit important to me. Congrats from Mexico 🇲🇽 and thanks in advance 😃👋
I can't find any information on the dimensions of the radiator in relation to the height of the RAM modules. I have all four slots filled with Trident Z Neo, which have a height of about 43 mm.
The front fan can be adjusted to not impact RAM. As for the actual cooling tower it self, I doudt it would be wide enough without fans to impact RAM. The thermalright does carry measurements for the radiator height and width if that helps?
Muy agradable el formato, al menos con todos los videos que vi deberias tener mas seguidores y mas me gusta, lo que mas me gusto si es la cooler league table

I may take a look later. There are quite a few coolers to get through first.
Oh and Happy New Year
@@jimbopcbuilds Alright! I will be watching all the reviews!! 🙌🏼

Thank you for watching and your question. Personally I’d go for the phantom spirit 120 non SE. the cooling is fantastic.
Thank you for your work!
