I'm a senior researcher at Heimkeeper Co., Ltd.Our company has an idea to reduce propeller noise and vibration of helicopters and drones. We're done with the experiment. We have applied for a utility model and a patent As a result of several experiments with small propellers, the current noise and vibration reduction effect is about 30%.Looking forward good news from you soon
I can't wait for this to fly. I feel like I built it. You really get a appreciation for how much time and effort it takes to build something when you see every step. One has to see it as a incredible machine that is not easy to make. You have an amazing skill set. I check all the time for new videos and get excited with everyone.
No rubber mounting of the motor ? Any time you slide a heavy weight across a aluminum tube first put a cloth or a split soft deburred tubbing on the tub to protect the tube from being scratched . If that plywood has a small piece of stone stuck in it the scratch it could make while sliding on the aluminum will cause a crack in a structure member over time. That is why major airline companies inspect the structure of there planes for any scrapes oe scratches and have them buffed out immediately. Great build I like your project ....
Thanks Ray for your constructive comment. Yes i have to do something to protect the frame of the helicopter from the vibration of the motor. The final position of the motor is not figured out jet because i dont have the hole transmission ready so far.
I just stumbled across this video. It looks like excellent work! May I ask how you are keeping the LBS down to keep it ultralight class? The build the mosquito near me and they are just a couple of tubes and just make it. Your frame looks stout. I am going to keep watching. Love. To see it fly!
Job well done. I like the looks of that little ROTAX & I like the extra support tubes added in as well. As to the position of your engine, is this the "center point" of the whole bird when complete??? What is the weight & horspower of the little ROTAX engine? How did you know what to choose for the best performance & horspower for your helo??? Thankya for sharing the video!
Thanks Rodney. I try to keep the center of gravity close to the main rotor mast. The engine has 65Hp. Dry weight (Without: gearbox and exhaust) is 29.1Kg or 64.0Lb. This engine suits me because of good power to weight ratio and simplicity. Have a good week...
@@ultralighthelicopter You're very welcome sir, & thankya for replying back & answering me. This is good to know as i love to grow my knowlege in the helicopter industry. Great job! I just wonder if the position of the engine is right? Is this position right according to the installation manuel of Rotax? Does it creat any problem for a long term? Because spark plugs will work horizontally at this position.
Is that engine designed to run upright like that? That looks just like snowmobile engines! How much was it, what's the HP and is it two two cylinders with two spark plugs per cylinder?
Great work &video. You may not be aware of it there is two advertisings every two minutes ! This is crazy. I'll probably follow your project and suscribe but won't watch the videos with so many ads !
You need to modify the cooling system PLEASE. That top cylinder will develop a vapour lock and you will cook it and seize up. It is designed to be horizontal!
Hello sir, this is a nice series of videos. Will you be piloting the craft, once complete? I don't understand, are you yourself from Switzerland, or is the Rotax engine from Switzerland? Hope to see more; great taste in music, too!

Love to see a real craftsmen. Extremely great work. can't wait for each new posting.
Love the Iron Maiden ending...
Amazing project and the best engine for this
Abi motor modeli ne ? Aynısını bende yapmak istiyorum
Another Iron Maiden fan, awesome. 🤘🏻
Your a mad scientist! If we were neighbor's we would be friend's! Awesome build man!
bonito o projeto não sabia que motor de helicoptero trabalhava na vertical muito bom abraço
Hello. To install a 2T motor on a frame, you need to use elastomeric engine mounts.
I see that the newborn is approaching its first step. Are we all going to celebrate?
The sad part of the video is that is ends up. Greak work 👏👏👏
I can't wait to it's finish, I love to see it flying 😍
Ha Ha Ha me too❤
Давай парень жги, небо ждёт тебя. Удачи.
se ve lindo y si lo recubres con un poco de fibra de vidrio y pintado uf de lujo :)
As always very capricious. In the future, you may need rubber pads to relieve engine vibration. Think about it.
Cool......582 is good engine. I had 2 of those in aircraft and lots of trouble free hrs!

Super Arbeit!!!

هر لحظه که میگذره داره قشنگ تر و کامل تر میشه. امیدوارم روزی پرواز کردنش را ببینیم. موفق و پیروز باشید.

Great work! That engine will sound very nice!
I was watching your journey fro the start , all the best , much love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Thanks Shiham Hussain i really appreciate your support, much love back to you from Switzerland.
@@ultralighthelicopter ❤️
Will you add rubber to your engine mounts? It certainly wouldn’t hurt. Vibration will be a pretty big issue. Sweet rig though wow
for sure it will be great
Почему то у меня есть опасения что конструкция не выдержит вибрацию и может разрушиться😁
Интересует марка алюминия? Двигатель поларис 500?
How does all the screws hold up against vibrations?
Awesome job guy ! I'm jealous as hell ! Good luck an God bless .
Good job mate ,I like it
Can't wait the last results
🤘🏻👍🏻for the sound
Hope u can fit rubber bushing from engine mounts as these engines are famous with good vibration

Fantastic , subbed.
Once you get the rotor head spinning What are you going to do in terms of testing for vibration and dynamically balance it.
Hy Clayton. I dont know jet exactly but hopefully in the future i can give you a small answer
I just started laughing when the epic hair rock came on. These videos are so much fun.

good work, it seems the type of metal used all are aluminum? and y plz?
@ Phelix, thanks. The main frame of the helicopter is done with aluminum to keep it light. For the Landing gear skids i used stainless steel.
