He doesn't have enough hands to disengage the clutch and do autorotation while steering the chopper to a safe spot, because of that return spring on the hook lever that once he engages the clutch, he can only disengage the clutch once he's landed.
That is the first time I have seen a bolt on swage. For aircraft use we always have brass swages , what are the ratings on them? Do you use loctite to make sure they do not loosen?
This is an epic build and I hope you have many hours of flight. My concern about the belt roller after weight reduction is that it is balanced because with that spinning/rolling along the belts, if it is not balanced, it could induce flapping/oscillation of the belts becuase the diameter of that roller being smaller than the engine pulley (say the engine is doing 1500rpm) that pulley could be doing 2000rpm or there abouts and that it is fully welded into that frame/carrier with no way apart from cutting up that carrier to service repair the pulley. Just my thoughts. What do you think?
You are so smart and have amazing building techniques. But in almost every one of your videos you make huge failures against aviation standards , most likely ones that will hurt you in the end.
Prepare to eliminate this pulley reduction stage. It is greatly affecting final rotor RPM. I took mine for high power runs and got disappointed, Needs to be 1:1 ratio...have confirmed with other builders of this model that only engine gearbox and top gearbox needed
Thanks for this information, i had the engine running without the main and tail rotor blades installed and can confirm that the Main Rotor RPM seemed to low with the setting i currently have.
I like that you get right to it....and I would kill (Just kidding) for your workshop. One question, is there a reason you don't use roller bearings in the mid portion of the tail rotor shaft?.
Hy. The plans i used for reference on this build recommended nylon bushings for the tail rotor shaft. So i guess i have to see how they perform and might do a update from there... Best regards...
Job Well done👍🏻! I'm so glad you show us how all the moving parts work in each video build! We are all very proud of you🫱🏻🫲🏼🙂!!! Just one step closer to completion, my friend & we are excited for you👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, yes indeed!!!
Buonasera! Ho guardato tutti (o quasi) i suoi video .
Timecode 9:05. Please use self-locking nuts or thread retainer here. This is clearly not a reliable node. Otherwise, everything is moderately reliable. Thank you for embodying the childhood dream of many men - it energizes!🦾

Bom dia.
That looks very satisfying

Ta ficando show de bola parabéns 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you very much for the video. 👍🤗👍🇸🇯
Very good engennier .
Muito bom 😊
Useful desengage for autorotation too👍
Hope it is not necesary to desengage for autorotation.

Good Job!!!
You have balls of steel to build and then fly your own helicopter! That is epic!
Apparently no aviation experience. Lots of failure points. It might last a week or long enough to lure you into a state of false confidence.
@@bryanst.martin7134 Yes Indeed.
Looking good!
Indonesia hadir om
Mantap bro.
Coba anda buat yang menghasilkan daya dorong sebesar 30 Kg bro.
Saya tunggu kreasi berikutnya 👍
👍👍👍
helal olsun cok sabırlısınız bayım, biz okadar sabırlı değiliz :))

good work bhai

Well done great work 🌹🔥
Wou yes goods keren sir great Isthe5 best
please put cable guides on these pullies. Look forward to seeing this fly safely!
What a great Car in the backround and a greater Ultralight Helicopter in the front... Great Ingeniering from Swizerland
Thanks. Yes i agree. The 997 Turbo is in my humble opinion on of the best cars ever build in this generation ....
Hope ya used locktite on bolts. Looking GREAT. Was all those parts in the plans?

Very nice >> But, there's a profound 'LACK' of 'Gussets' ! >> Remember your life is at RISK here !
Would you please share the plans? Or blue prints?

What about a stall torque converter
Does it have a one way clutch, what happens if you need to disconnect the engine in a hurry for autorotation?
I see it does, nevermind.

this will fly in 2025 at the earliest 😂
How do you say “you are the man” in Switzerland? I can’t remember if the predominant language is German or French. You are that in any case
After watching over 60 of your earlier videos and being engrossed I am denied any more because I am not a member! Really?
Nice tension, but am still worried for your main rotor blade it seems too heavy due to still and Manny aluminum tube for reinforcement
I did a lighter version of the Main Rotor Blades they where to heavy indeed coming up... stay tuned...

Hey mate, soo you wanna flying to Heaven.. or what???,
Muito bom 😊
