Hello Jordan & Erica thanks for your vlog on Honolulu even though it’s my 3rd time to Hawaii in 6 years your informative experiences is always helpful.hope to see you if you do meet and greets.thanks Michael
The "no trespassing" tip really irritates me (not the tip; the trespassing). I've seen so many hikers go off trail or think that signs are just there to complement the natural setting. Trespassing does two things additional things: it gives tourists a terrible name, and will eventually force the state or county to just close the trail completely.
I've been planning for months while utilizing your youtube videos & itinerary. I always get excited when I get a notification that you've uploaded more material🙂 Your guys's knowledge, experience, and opinions has helped me so much! Thank you!! I do have a question for you two which might have been better to ask in a different video... I'm curious if you guys have heard of Kahana Adventures over at Kahana Bay. They do SUP & kayak rentals. Without experiencing it in person and just going off of videos, it looks like it could be a great time. Maybe comparable to Haleiwa kayaking & SUP.... maybe not? Anyway - we're coming to Oahu for 10 days this summer and I was thinking of taking our family there. Would love to hear your thoughts or at the very least maybe an idea for your family to check out if you haven't already. A big Mahalo to you all!
Kahana Bay is a beautiful spot. Do it! Let us know how it goes. It should be wonderful up there this summer and easy to pair with Kualoa Ranch activities. There is good hiking over there too.
Great video! I am heading up to Hawaii from Adelaide (Australia) in a few days and I can’t wait. Luckily after watching this I haven’t made any mistakes with my plan. I am staying in Waikiki for a week and just looking forward to a relaxing holiday so thank you for all the great tips and helping me plan an awesome Hawaiian holiday!
Thank you for your videos, they are incredibly helpful especially for first-timers :) I was wondering if you have any tips for solo travelling to Hawaii? Planning to do the Hapalua Half-Marathon in April and visiting a few days!
If you like donuts, you really need to check out Ani's Bakeshop in Halawa. They only make glazed and chocolate covered, but I think they made be the best anywhere! You have to go early because they usually sell out by 9am. Their primary specialty is sweet breads and haupia pies. We normally stay in Kailua when visiting Oahu and I get up at 5am and drive across the island to grab some donuts.
Using your videos as my guide for my husband and I! Apparently I went to Maui when I was 3 but obviously don’t remember it. So excited to go and remember it!
OMG...Dunks??? Dunks??? Not a Kona Coffee??? Being from NE and living right outside Boston we have 5 Dunkin Donuts w/in 6 minutes of my house (and I don't go)...ohh, their coffee is so bad. That one hurt guys. 🧐😎
Speaking of jet lag, I also make our dinner reservations around 2:30-3:30 pm because to our bodies, that’s the same time we eat back home on the west coast.
My husband and I will be in Oahu in April. We are visiting our son who is stationed there. We are so looking forward to it, and I appreciate videos like this. Do you have a video on specific words to know ahead ahead of time to be able to show our appreciation properly and be even more immersed in the whole experience of being there? Mahalo
Thanks for asking. We follow community led tourism management plans for each island. Molokai's guidance is they are focusing on other industries and resources for their community.

I just found out I’m pregnant so we’ve put off our Hawaii plans until 2025 😂 your videos are going to make us pros by the time we eventually go
Congratulations, I wish you a happy healthy pregnancy
Congrats! Hawaii is great for babies! Or squeeze in a babymoon!!
Oh wow can you please tell me where that hibachi place is that is around the 9 and half minute mark?? It looked amazing!
It’s Restaurant Suntory in the Royal Hawaiian Center. Fun steak house.
Malasadas from Leonard's were my favorite donut like pastry I've ever had. Coming back in April can't wait. Thank you for the great video.
Thanks for this tip. We are going in two weeks and this bakery is near our condo.
I like how they are warm and large malasadas

Here is a fun article with pidgin and Hawaii words and phrases thehawaiivacationguide.com/hawaiian-pidgin-phrases/
You guys are the best! Appreciate it!
I’ve been looking at supplements for jet lag, I’ve found gaba is supposed to be really good. I’m trying to plan for jet lag also lol
Embrace it! Enjoy the early start to the day!
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide I’m such an early bird in general I’m curious to how early it will really feel! Coming from Phoenix
your map is showing leeward as wet side
Oops! Typo. Can’t change it now! Thanks
Do you guys no, if it’s any restriction getting to the Island after Covid?
No restrictions. All restrictions ended in March 2021.
Looks like you guys checked out Tanaka of Tokyo.
I miss Hawaii!! 😢
I would love to see you do a video about the island of Molokai
Any discount codes for the Oahu and and Big Island Itineraries?
We share all our coupon codes here thehawaiivacationguide.com/hawaii-vacation-guide-coupon-codes/
North Atlantic?
Why do you never talk about Molokai?
Thanks for asking. We follow community led tourism management plans for each island. Molokai's guidance is they are focusing on other industries and resources for their community.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide I guess they want to protect their native Hawaiian culture on Molokai. I don't blame them.
