You guys are the best, my wife and ii are going to Kona next month and we are so excited. We purchase your Itinerary book and it has helped us a lot on planning!! Thank you so much
Gotta say November and December is my favorite time to visit Maui & Oahu. We have spent the last 4 out of 5 years on both islands and have fallen in love with spending the holidays there. Christmas is pure magic! Thanks for your videos.
I have usually visited Hawaii in the winter months- mostly February. The reason being-seasonal depression. Living in northeast it is rough! I just might have to head there in early December just to experience the holidays though. As far as sharks are concerned, I am amongst the ones like you Jordan, they don’t bother me. I’ve been on many dives where a shark has shown up and no issues-yet!!
Very smart to help with seasonal depression. The air is so fresh there and the warmth makes your muscles and joints happy 🤗❤❤❤ exercising outside is so much easier, its the best.
We visited Maui in May last year and it was beautiful. All sunny skies and not too busy either. Just got back from a March trip to Oahu too and plenty of clouds and crowds! But well worth it for the whales 🐳💗 Two more main islands to go! Will aim for September/October. Thank you for another great video guys 🤙
My wife and I just booked our trip to Maui for October. I was concerned about what to expect but your video helped a ton. Thanks so much and maybe we’ll run into you guys there. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Ty. Have lived most of my years too poor to even imagine an Hawaiian vacation but karma works for the better as well. Appreciate the time you guys took to explain a lot of questions I’ve had in mind.
Thank you for this video. My husband and I have always wanted to visit Hawaii. We live in a well known ski resort in western Canada… long winters, rainy in spring and fall, nice summers but at most 3 months. Living in a tourist destination we can’t take traditional holiday periods off as we’re busy working. We’re taking our vacation end of September to beginning of October. I was really unsure about Hawaii then but this video has helped me decide. Can’t wait to visit!
Glad to hear that January is still good. We have to work within our farming year so fingers crossed for 2025 🌴 And I suppose anything will feel tropical compared to -25C + windchill 🥶
My family and I visited Maui last October and saw the same high waves on the north shore on the same beach you showed in your video. My big disappointment was not getting to experience Lahaina. Another comment. I really agree that Hawaii is EXPENSIVE!
Nice video! My wife has family on the island. They work for the resorts and own businesses. We get employee rates. We used to take vacation the first week of December. It was our secret for years. No one was on the island for years. School was in and you still got the Christmas feeling. After Covid. Early December was ruined by celebrities. Now December is busy. People finally figured out it’s cheaper before the holidays. We are going the second week of January. Guaranteed it’s very quiet. The water is a little too cold to swim in the ocean long term. It’s shorts and sweatshirts in the evening. We have been in Hawaii in summer. Never again. Too hot and too busy. We are foodies from Portland and use Yelp and Google reviews.
Me and my girlfriend of 5 years are going to kaui this year again we went last year for the first time we fell in love , I’ve only ever been to Maui before and my girlfriend was a first timer in Hawaii and we both agreed that kaui is mesmerizing although I’ve only ever been to Maui before we had the option to go to any of the 4 main islands we chose kaui again its lush rainforest mountain coast and beautiful marine life make is so unique
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide Thank you 😊 , I love your videos ! We wanted to go to Maui but unfortunately after what happen in Lahaina I wasn’t sure if my girlfriend would get the same first experience I did back in 2018 unfortunately one last thing to mention we were able to secure low flights fare from lax in September as you guys recommend September seem to be the most economical time to travel to the islands
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide I also used the Hawaii car rental website you recommended very convenient thank you , I am from southern California and I appreciate your informative videos mahalo
Nope, it is lovely! We share weather, cost, and crowds data here for Christmas. Plus, tips for booking a trip: thehawaiivacationguide.com/hawaii-christmas-vacation-planning/
We might go in late may so we can stay during the green season, however it might be too late. Do you think it’s possible to book last minute flights around a month beforehand?
You can find deals! Never say never. Flights to Hawaii have been well priced. Tourism numbers are down this year so they might be cutting prices. Good luck!
Should I be worried about Kihei having 37mph wind gusts? Just barely checked forecast this morning. Wife pretty bummed with me lol. We just wanted the kids to enjoy the beach every single day without weather being an issue.
haha, that is fair! Sorry about that. I had a lot of info to get through and I don't love long videos. Read our article at your speed and comfort: thehawaiivacationguide.com/best-time-to-visit-hawaii/

Going at the end of May and so excited! Thank you for all the vids to help our trip planning
I agree about the sunsets in October, we had a family trip to Maui and the sunset we had the beginning of October were just amazing. 🏝❤️
You need the right amount of clouds and October delivers. Erica appreciates the comment!
18 days from departure for 10 days on the Big Island for the trip of lifetime for my wife and I! Mahalo for the video!

Going to Kauai in May and following your guide itinerary. Keep the great videos coming.
So am I
It’s perfect in May, we spend 2 weeks last year and loved it, then went for a week in August and both of us thought May was the best month
@@romanarozmilowska2679 My wife and i were there on our honeymoon back in 93 . I hope that it hasn't changed too much

We are going to Maui in July! Will be looking over your guide
Have a wonderful trip in July! Enjoy the guide!
We are going July 30th thru the 5th and it says wind gusts of up to 37mphs will be on Kihei. My wife is kind of bummed with me.

Enjoy your trip! You're lucky to be able to visit in Sept/Oct!
Just got back from Oahu and agree, Sept is the best month. Weather was perfect, crowds were acceptable and costs were reasonable.
This year especially, great weather and even less visitors than usual.
You guyz ROCK🏝️😎

I've been to Maui in February and October. I found February too cool and rainy. The weather in October was much better.
We were lucky perfect 80F in February and whales 🐳, just love 💕 it

Kīhei gets windy in our experience. But folks from Kihei say west maui is windy. If it is windy, go to Kaanapali or maybe even Wailea/Makena
