I'm 39. Never went to college. Have no debt. Single. Never married. No kids. The goal now is to keep improving both physically, spiritually, mentally , and financially.
I saw many of my peers go to college because they believed what we were told about college being the only way to make a decent living. Then the housing bubble crashed. Now they are still paying off a degree they never used.
Absolutely. Having a college degree doesn’t necessarily means success or guarantees you that you are going to have a good living. Hope you liked the video Vincent! make sure to subscribe to the channel if you want TH-cam to recommend you more of our videos in the future!
Men don't need to go to university to earn a good living. They are in much better financial shape if they don't date and they go to a trade school. Save and invest and live well below your means and you will be better off.
We agree Westek Forest! Its not necessary to go to college to earn a good living. Hope you liked the video! Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel! It really helps us so YT can recomend more of our videos in the future! Cheers!
Nonsense. I didn’t and I have earned a VERY good living running my own company for 32 years. And there is NOTHING you learn in university about investing that you cannot learn outside that system. I know because I also have a a series 6 and series 7 NASD license and never set foot in a university to get it. I manage the family portfolio and we have outperformed BH by average 2.2% annually since 1996. I suggest you rethink this, ‘must go to college’ rubbish. It’s not necessary and my close circle of friends and business colleagues are all multi-millionaires and not a single one went to university.
I am a college dropout. I felt like the environment lacked maturity. I went to study digital art/3d animation with a mentor. I am loving the experience much more than attending boring lecture classes

This former soldier agrees. But it won't happen; Ukraine showed us that when the shit hits the fan, the women run and all men are required to suddenly be toxic males so they don't die fighting.
Unspoken reality: women in west get to drift through college due to support from family and multiple relationships, men to much lesser extent For an average woman, college is the best part of life, for average male without much support its worst phase of a life that can be better
Facts they always have more of a support system, safety net, and failsafe. The amount of men I know that supported and or paid for their women to go to school only to divorce them and marry up is shocking. P.S. Never invest in a woman who doesn't invest in you.
I’m presently on the verge of dropping out of graduate school. The environment is not good for men in general. I can’t tell you how many times I sat in a class and heard a classmate blame men and “toxic masculinity” on some bs topic we all were discussing. Not to mention, they always single me out bcuz I am the only guy I’m my classes.

I got a bachelor's degree at a prestigious university, and the skills I acquired there are totally useless for what I do now. They never helped me make money at all, actually. Men have woken up to the fact that college has become a bad deal for most career paths. it's a very overpriced, very inefficient education format with too much fluff that isn't useful. They want you to spend tens of thousands of dollars over two years to learn "general" or "liberal arts" education which (for 95% of students) has nothing to do with the skillset required for a career. Then you leave with $50-100k or more in debt. It's ridiculous.
You briefly touched on it, but society and how education treats males play a big part in it. We need to change the message we sent to boys in school. My nephew graduated from a STEM school, the student body is 70% male. The special speakers, didn't talk about how you can make a difference, it was all about empowering women. What type of message does that send. Imagine going to a all girls school and speaking about how to empower men. Even in elementary school its known that teachers treat girls better than boys. That treatment which is starting early is showing. When you are growing up and you hear over and over that men are no good, and such things, and then think it won't effect the mind of a boy is stupid. And here is the big problem. To challenge this means you have to challenge the extreme modern feminists who scream loudly at any perceived insult.

I say this as a PhD Student, unless you kid has a clear vision of what they want to do, Like engineering or premed, Tell them they can go to a CC part-time while they work, and once they figure it out you can talk about a four year school. The truth is that a college degree in many cases is not the end all be all, for many business career fields entry level jobs and lower level promotions not depdent on having a college degree, furthermore after working for a company long enough many corporations will offer tution reimbursement so long as your degree relates to a given career path. Most people upon graduating highschool need a reality check and a chance to finish maturing, not to be set loose in a bubble that is like high school with no parents . Regardless of what the crooks at the princeton review say, college is not about Self-Discovery, Having a good time, or meeting cool people its about learning a specific academic field and gaining certification in that feild which you want to translate into a sucessful career that will allow you to support yourself. Also when you do go to college my advice, do not live on campus, Stay away from campus events and groups, go to class, do your work, go home... maybe join a hobby or sports club as a way to help you relax, but you can often find those off campus as well. Also for men "Do not date" remember when on a college campus you are in an enviroment in which an accusation is enough to be expelled and have your reputation ruined even if such accustions would never be enough in a court of law. Every female student is unfortunately a potential landmine, its best to avoid them, if you have to interact with them for class, such as for group projects, only do so in in public places and refuse to meet in private residences. Remember if you go to college only do so with a clear career goal in mind, and remember to get in and get out, your goal is to go to class, earn the grades, get the degree, if you make good use of your summers you may even be able to get out in three years.

I can't take this video seriously. How can you have a conversation about men not going to college if you don't talk about political climate and how men are viewed in a negative light on campuses. Please stop acting like thus is some huge mystery that we can't quite figure out.
Colleges and universities are breeding grounds for militant feminists. The same style of instruction that has been used for K-12 schooling is still largely used in colleges and universities. Men are largely cognitive and kinesthetic learners. Beyond the trades and the military service, there aren't any colleges and universities that perfectly match a man's style of learning. Men don't go where their learning style is not supported. They also tend to want avoid blatant misandrist rhetoric everyday. Besides, a lack of schooling doesn't lower men's earning potential, a lack of common sense does this. The reason there are no initiatives to increase the quotas for male graduation is because the government wants men to fail. There is no other explanation if there is no government response. The schooling gap will continue to widen between men and women. Men will continue to see greater satisfaction through action-based, result-oriented learning and will continue to seek meaningful careers in the trades. Society fails to respect the trades and has downplayed their significance for more than 40 years and now, the trades are paying more than most white and pink collar careers due to the nature of work, inherent risk, scarcity of expertise, and general market demands. Don't count men out because of a lack of formal schooling from a paid state, local, or ivy league degree mill. The one thing men do best is adapt. It is the reason civilizations survive and thrive.

Add in the fact that AI is coming for those white and pink collar jobs, and a college degree will soon become a virtually worthless scrap of parchment. The carnage hasn't even started yet.
Very informative. I’ve noticed this as I work for Higher Education. Women are likely to graduate on time within 4 years and likely to advance their education. Reasoning why men avoid college is because university forces them to take a lot of useless courses for a lot of money. You're not even using half of what you learn at school. And most of the time, finding work based on your studies may not be there after graduation.
This gap goes a lot deeper. One interesting phenomena you can point at is "boy handwriting". There's a visible fall in boys' performance in handwritting from, pretty much, when co-ed education became the norm. And why isn't a mystery. Boys will develop finer motor skills 1 year or so older than girls, but the system as of now is just set up to fit the girls' time. There's a lot more to that. Our education system is set to reward people who sit down and shut up. Boys lost a lot from the loss of more engaged types of learning that came with the "industrialization" of education. Obviously girls lose from this too, but they adapt better to this specific suboptimal system. Another game boys will always lose is the of being liked. This one being more important than you think when it comes to education. Imagine that the last 50 years or so the mindset around education has drastically changed. It turned from "we educate you to make you useful", to "we educate you to make your life better". And there are great things about it like the end of corporal punishment in schools. But, the fact is that when a teacher starts taking this more maternal role and less of a disciplinarian one their attention will just started being hogged by girls. Like, you went to school, you know that it is how it is. There's always a little group of good girls who utterly absorb the teachers' whol attention and everyone else is left to their own devices.
Women might behave well, study more and stay in school through out college, but what people are missing is that STEM / business majors are dominated by males. Any engineering, law, and business classes and majors are mostly man. Those majors and their related fields are what usually generally most highly paying occupations.
This is true but the percentage of those degrees (especially engineering and law) is small compared to the majority… and the majority is full of women. It’s almost like the entire discussion for these videos excludes STEM because it’s such a small piece of the pie. My STEM degree paid off but if I had gone into any other field, I don’t think I would have been successful at using a degree to find work.

I went to uni for a year this is what I saw : Powerpoint presentations that looked like it took 10 minutes for the lecturer to make with information that I could have found on the internet. Total scam.
I have many friends and some families who are the same what they have been through. Dropping out of college or not going to college because of the lecturer teaching, student dramas, deadlines, finance fee, or even all.

I dropped out when classes went fully online in 2020. Since then I managed to get a job as a heavy machine operator for a company contracted by the Army Corp of Engineers so it's all prevailing wage. It's been nice cleaning 130k a year but working 72hrs a week for 9 months out of the year provides very little time for anything but work.
Don't know if anyone is going to see this but it's important to note, it's not just higher education that men are abandoning in record numbers. It's all the mainstream institutions. Higher education, Marriage, Corporate America, Religion, even government. All these institutions do not add value to our lives. In fact they penalise men simply for being men. The obvious reaction is men will naturally reduce their interaction with these institutions to 'essential contact only' if they cannot opt out of participation outright. As far as government is concerned, you'll begin to see the number of men seeking both elective and appointed posts in government start to decrease slightly, then all of a sudden sharply all while being hailed as some sort of victory for gender equality. More men will continue to opt out of these institutions entirely or reduce their interaction with them to 'essential contact only' where complete avoidance is not feasible nor possible

As a Man who went to college and got his degree in Biology in 2014 there is 0 Help for men to get a job or programs to move them from college to work. I've been looking since 2015 for work in bio fields always getting passed over whilst paying for the medical bills of 2 girls 1 trans who eventually died. Besides that I ultimately didn't learn much more than what I could teach myself the overall quality of education compared to its cost is beyond ridiculous. Equivalently I would say I paid 2000 for a used double cheesburger picked up from the floor. I paid off my loans after working security and everything but above all the thing that destroyed me was current day social issues and woke culture who did not care about my merits or how much I worked or my skills. After working for over 5 years with an engineering group and working to create a STEM program for girls and minorities it was shut down my jealous and immature idiots not even part of the program. Worse after it was shut down they wanted me to help with their student loans a process that was part of the program they had shut down expecting me to serve them like some mean girl trope for nerds. It was Disgusting and bigoted and they ultimately made it impossible to enjoy any of my work or see anything worth doing and I'm glad they got what they deserved when they cried about being forever in debt.

I am a male student soon to graduate with a BS in mathematics next month. I didn't see much value in education when I was in middle and high school. I got in a lot of trouble, and I eventually ended up having to do my GED due to getting kicked out of school. However, completely failing at high school and having to do my GED got me to appreciate education and see the value in it a lot more. I always had a goal to go to college, but my experience of complete failing at high school gave me that much more motivation to follow through with it and stick with it. Now that I've gotten my shit together and learned to work hard to succeed, I hope I will do ok despite my past challenges.

I'm the other way around, got stiffed in a College strike right around the time to start my internship. Finished it got IT degree and what a waste of time that was. I ended up selling Cable subscriptions and doing customer service after that. I would say trade school is the way to go, but the one near me is a fancy paper mill as well and charges double in-state tuition. Entrepreneurship may be the ultimate end goal out of all of this.
I did not have the option of college when I was younger. I only went after 20 years of retail, fast food, and labor. First off, it's not Mensa, I graduated with a 4-year STEM degree and 4.0 GPA. You don't have to be a genius, just do the work on the syllabus correctly. All this time I believed college people were superior, having this shattered was quite anticlimactic.
I will only go back to College only if the College/ University will provide a MEN-ONLY Scholarship and a Hangout Lounge for Staright-Men similar to the Latinx or Black Hangout Lounge!

by the late 60's, men started to be able to play around in college. BC pill, changing attitudes. Um, what man wants to take the risk of playing with the ladies now? I didn't, when I was in college, I concentrated on doing well. The bad boys in the colleges I attended almost needed one of those number machines, like in the supermarket, to keep up with all the bad girls that wanted to be with them. I'm not kidding. I looked at those women closely- all were in their early 20's, and they LOOKED like they were in their mid-30's. At least. They were irritable enough that I put my cloak of invisibility on- i.e. being a beta male. I know of a guy who, out of high school, got great financial aid- for trade school, to be an electrician. He made some good money for 2 years, and went to college, to be an electrical engineer. He'd work summers as an electrician, making good money. Got his EE degree. If he got laid off from one job, he'd find another, and he was doing well. And, driving an old pickup truck, the vam pire ladies didn't bother him. Also, being a man in college, now, kind of feels like being a je wish person in 1930's Germany, and for the same reasons. I will say Chad and Tyrone are having a field day, they are turning away more than they get, and they get a lot.

Could you also deal with the elephant(s) in the room ? - The 'seriousness' (value) of education is going through the drain. - The feminist/MeToo/Racialwar on the campus became unbearable to most men. - The cost vs return to investment are becoming VERY bad.
Women must be feeling happy, they also earn better grades in school. But that can't be a predictor for success. They have very little connection to life .
Grades have nothing to do with intellect. Grades determine your level of compliance with a given objective. Thus, the more obedient and predictable you are, the higher your grade.
Today one needs education/training beyond high school but that doesn't always require going to college to get the training. There are good paying jobs that you don't need a college degree but they are not promoted. We are sold on the idea everyone needs to go to college and when you start college you discover this is not for you. College is oversold.
So then what is government even for? Or would total anarchy be better? And for the record, wasn’t that originally said by Ronald Reagan who was FROM THE GOVERNMENT HIMSELF?

The fact that the student loan debt isn't even mentioned!!!! speaks volumes is that the value for an education has gone down in value!!! only some degrees are worth it financially to get a degree at a university.
I think men are not going to college because you don't need to anymore. Unless you are trying to get a career in STEM you don't really need college education.
Colleges have become more feminine and men just aren’t interested any more. Along with the fact that men tend to take less financial risk and with the fact that men are more focused on what college can give them rather than the college experience itself, and this is what you get.

Men are rational beings. We analyze the cost-benefit analysis of decisions. We want to know if we spend 50k a year in tuition, are we getting an ROI? Unless you want to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer, the math just doesn't make sense.
Not a good return on investment… where I work, the maintenance men at the plant actually take home MORE MONEY THAN THE PROFESSORS at the local college… that student loan debt is literally a weight around your ankles. Indebted general dentist associates can easily be in $300,000-$400,000 of debt and after taxes and student loan bills, they took home the same as a master plumber or master electrician… think about that for a minute… and it will take them until about their 50s to catch up too. The college “wealth premium” has imploded due to the debt loads.

As women become more educated and wealthy in society they have less children. Mostly because of time. So u can imagine the birth rate declining sharply. U say oh good we need less people. Yes but who’s gonna pay the social security tax when this generation leaves the workforce. U need young workers for that.

I have 10 years of higher education. I feel like the educational quality is getting worse every year. When I first started up, I did not do too well grade-wise. And I thought I was stupid and that if only I could get a good grade, everything would change for the better. Then I got an A on my first exam. Nothing changed. There was no guarantee for academic success on my next field, because of it. It is just a matter of luck. Sometimes you meet a professor that likes your way of writing, sometimes you don't. Basically it is just a question of taste and luck, whether you get an academic career or not. It is fundamentally loads of bull, particularly the in the field of humanities, and completely unnecessary for doing a good job!

Remember college also means debt, if for ever 1 male 2 females are going to college. That means those women are brimmed up the top with DEBT, Debt that can't be defaulted on, debt that will forever stick to them, and at the prices of today and how "smart" they are with it... these debts are HUGE!!!! While men might fall back, doing a trade or learning through other ways can lead to a job quicker. Lower debts, quicker access to work aka making money. Mmm, maybe the men are being smart here.
Yes, debt is one the primary reasons why men are opting out on college for sure! Hope you liked the video Masticina! Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel so YT can recommend more of our content in the future!
Those women have a bigger fallback with their families and future partners. If a man gets overwhelmed by debt much bigger chances he just goes homeless.
I have an Electrical Engineering degree and no debt. How did I do that? Well had scholarship but also worked in construction to pay my college and, that's the most important part, choose a degree that actually pay. So now I can fix my house AND make a 6 figures salary. Also, trades/skill/manual work is the future, there is no AI that can fix your plumbing or A/C. It's already happening... the companies are dropping the requirements for college in several positions and lots of guys are working in manual, outdoors work and earning a lot. Men don't care about the education a woman has, so they don't discriminate when finding a partner, so many college man will marry non college girls. But that's not true for women, so this will make harder and harder and harder for a college girl to find a suitable guy. This will lead to lower fertility, this the demographic situation will only accelerate this change: skilled manual work will be rare and valuable in the not too distant future while many positions that do low level mental work will be under pressure by AI. Men already saw the light in the end of the tunnel, almost by accident, and left the college for the most part. There are only some fields were a college degree makes sense, like in my case, BS in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. So, young man, don't despair. Don't go to college, go to a trade school and start making money. Once you have you life flowing, decide if college is for you.
One point not brought up here is the fields in which men and women enroll. what percentage of science/technology/engineering students are female (vs. male) in contrast to sociology/education/ gender studies.? And what are the absolute numbers in each field? Therein we may find the answers.
It’s a bad value proposition for us at this point. And this from someone who graduated from a highly ranked program in both physics and mathematics in 2008.
The U.S. education system is geared to getting people to go to college and university which makes universities a lot of money. Men realize that that isn't necessarily a smart option. Problem is shop and technical school education has been downplayed for decades. Thus we have less carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. Many jobs that don't require college pay more than many degree jobs. Instead of expecting boys to change to meet a female focused education system. Maybe for the better of society schools should focus on what they need to do to make educational achievement more accessible to boys. Of course that isn't feminist point of view (the point of view in this video) to take, so it's largely discounted.

I am not in the US but where I live the schools have emphasized things girls are better at compared to things boys are better at. To the extent that mathematics exams are just as much about reading text then they are about making calculations. The whole system works against the way boys learn and support the way girls learn.

Men aren’t going to College. Military is struggling with recruiting. Men have been beaten down by Feminism so much that they no longer have the Willpower to continue provisioning and protecting society. We’re headed towards Societal Collapse
College… well school in general is not suited towards men. They’re neglecting the way our brains have been developed; posterior parietal lobe develops quicker in men, which is used for spatial awareness. That’s why men are kinaesthetic learners. However school is more auditory and visual and that tends to be more suited for women. You also have to keep into account how much these colleges want to empower women at the cost of a young men’s self confidence. We are seen as the lesser gender Furthermore, women tend to major in fields like nursery, school teaching, interior design. They tend to major in fields with lower payment opportunities. Men tend to pick harder fields to major in ( engineering, science, technology) yet these jobs still won’t hire them due to lack of experience. I love learning, my brain is as plastic as a child’s lol but college seems like a waste of resources. Finally, need to think about the misandrist feminist and their female empowerment (male bashing) propaganda. These colleges want to empower women at the cost of a young men’s self confidence. I was at my sister graduation and the speaker was saying how men didn’t much to her as a joke but why did she feel like that was appropriate at a graduation ceremony. Misandry is rampant and isn’t seen like a massive issue.

What is the picture that colleges paint for men? In the classroom, they are repeatedly told that most of the world's ills were and are still caused by men. Further, class after class put special focus on various minority group "identities." Events and speakers brought onto campus reiterate the same ideology. In terms of the male relationship to administration, he is under threat of being destroyed by a sexual relationship that goes awry, even if there was no assault. Relating to other students, if he wants to make friends, student organizations focus on the same themes he sees everywhere else on campus. The only spaces where he can perhaps feel at ease being a man is at the gym, intramurals, sports, and maybe fraternities.
Men can do the math and know the return on investment for most degrees does not make sense. Women should not be seeking CEO or senator jobs because society says they should. Those jobs are horrible. They are just positions of power. Seeking job for the sake of power is a horrible thing to tell a young person.
Men don't benefit from marriage. He will earn more money, but it will be spend by the wife and the children. And there are 60% chances to get divorced (73% of divorces are initiated by women), 93% chances to pay alimony. For men with college degree, who want to marry, I have an advice: on the dating market you are a true value. More than half of college educated women will be single, or single mom, or marry with one other woman. Please inform yourself about the red flags and don't spend time with anybody.

Men can make a lot more money by working on an oil rig or down a mine shaft than with a degree. Maybe if women were willing to accept the danger, discomfort and inconvenience of dirty but essential jobs they'd be able to close that wage gap.
If u look at the stats other than the ceos and middle class men its fairly terrible for a man in this country. Out of curiosity, what degree are you doing?
Expecially considering that it seems female dominated from what you are saying
God bless you brother.

What do you wish to work in?
At least in prison you don't go into debt, but then again don't drop the soap.
Why go to college to be told that you're hated and horrible?

Well, women in colleges, despite their higher numbers, are mostly majoring in humanities/social science, liberal arts, and feminist studies.

Don't know if anyone is going to see this but it's important to note, it's not just higher education that men are abandoning in record numbers. It's all the mainstream institutions.
Higher education,
Marriage,
Corporate America,
Religion,
even government.
More men will continue to opt out of these institutions entirely or reduce their interaction with them to 'essential contact only' where complete avoidance is not feasible nor possible

by the late 60's, men started to be able to play around in college.

Go to college only if you want to be in certain STEM or business-related professions.
Don't do it if your goal is just to go into some humanities-related field or just to earn money.

I own a Masters of Science in security management, and I must say that practical experience in your field of work is as important as possessing a degree in your field of interest. We men realize that college education becomes a heavy burden due to fees and s.t. useless time involved in studying subjects we may never use in practice. It may generate problems to earn a living. (Un)consioucly this let's you prioritize work over school, and this may be the reason why the majority doesn't apply for college programs.

We analyze the cost-benefit analysis of decisions. We want to know if we spend 50k a year in tuition, are we getting an ROI?

I started Kindergarten in 1965. The girls always did better in school. The boys on the Honor Role were the exception rather than the rule.

Higher education is far too woke and anti-men. Who would go into debt to participate in such an environment?
Would love to see women fight on the front lines when wars have to be fought. For sure they'll outperform men in that area as well. Good luck !
Nah. Why sink in debt in school?

1. go to trades school
2. Learn
3. Work for a union
4. Gain experience
5. Stick to it or find more skills to learn
6. Repeat again starting from step 1 (or alternatively, you can go to many seminars on stuff specially on agriculture field)
Another tip: always be a learner no matter how long you've been doing stuff. An open mind, and a growth mindset and you'll be set.

yeah we know that
Remember college also means debt, if for ever 1 male 2 females are going to college.
Once you have you life flowing, decide if college is for you.
when a woman asks for help, people help her. when men ask for help, people laugh at him. thats why women do better in school, its obvious.

One point not brought up here is the fields in which men and women enroll. what percentage of science/technology/engineering students are female (vs. male) in contrast to sociology/education/ gender studies.? And what are the absolute numbers in each field? Therein we may find the answers.
The market for college degrees is saturated. I have worked on assembly lines with degreed people who could find no befitting their education .

We are seen as the lesser gender
Furthermore, women tend to major in fields like nursery, school teaching, interior design.
