There's actually a pro tip for not standing the extra long line for narita express: use another transport. There's Skyliner (2 times cheaper and actually faster than Narita Express) and buses are pretty good and fast too.

I love going along with you on your travels, when your filming or the editing is fantastic. I never get frustrated because of you not doing an angle right or not staying on the view long enough. But when you went down the one street I sorta yelled no Danny not that street. I knew what type of places were there. 😀 I hope you're healthy and eating and sleeping well.🙂🙂

Going to Seoul and then Japan for the first time this summer and this blog has me overwhelmed. How are the restaurant menu/ signs not in English? Not foreigner friendly at all.
Umm I don’t think it should be taken that way. Most of these places are local restaurants who mainly run for local people. As a bar owner myself ( we do have English menu) it’s not easy to make menus or change menus in different languages just for the few customers who come once in a while, especially in a non-English speaking country. In the tourist spots and in places like the subway where it’s run by the government, the signs are in English but you can’t expect every local venues to prepare an English menu for people who don’t speak the local language :) we as a tourist should try to find ways to read the menu, whether it’s through an app or learning basic words to experience their culture and their life :)

Thanks for sharing. If you enjoy these bars/izakaya, you can try them in yurakacho, asakusa , gotanda as well. There are so many areas in Tokyo with amazing vibes. Once you are comfortable, you can even go to the more localized places in kichijoji, asaguya , nakano !

I will be lost in the airport after five minutes. I get lost very easily. I once got lost in the metro in Barcelona, I kept walking in a circle, and after passing by the same man five times, he asked me if I needed help 😂
I always stress around during my travel. I once lost my luggage down from stairs, so it rolled out to the train tracks, and I yelled for people to stop it, and a person did in the last second. It only touched the train door 🙈
People always stare at you no matter what. I once forgot to take my sunglasses inside a shop, and I was walking with a dog, so people assumed I was blind. They were surprised when I could actually see 😂
I wonder what taste better Japanese or Korean food 🤔 😅
I wonder what Japanese traditional drink is. You seem to like trying different bars. A little bit like a blind date. You order without knowing and let it be a surprise what you get 😂

Interesting that the one bar had a "No perfume" sign on the door in English. This is a "nice" way of saying "no foreigners". Don't take it the wrong way though, they don't speak English (or other foreign languages) and just don't want the hassle of dealing with tourists.
There were some bars where foreigners weren’t allowed but I understood since the bars are small and they’ve been around for long. They probably want to save the seat for the locals who’s been coming for years and years :)
I don’t understand this expression. Don’t Japanese people wear perfume?
@@nikkiross128b Good question! They don't have all the strong scents in their products that western countries have. They can be put off by the smell of a foreigner's perfume or even a subtle scent of a personal hygiene product we aren't even aware of. Imagine that in a small crowded space. One person may offend a bar/restaurant owners entire clientele.

Welcome to Shinjuku. Any 1 seen / herd of Charlie in Kabukicho?? [ yes real person ] I usually take Limo Bus from airport directly to my hotel OR nearby stop. Why so surprised on the view?? Your in a premium hotel. Pool?? Yummy meat on a stick from bar. Absolutely loved every minute
haven't heard of him haha I was surprised with the view because I got this hotel for a reasonable price and other hotels with the same price in Tokyo don't seem to have views like this :)

it took a while... not sure but almost an hour? It was really crowded!! I was also afraid of missing it and didn't want to book too late and waste time... I think you can go to the airport and get it but just bare in mind it could take a while

Next time you book a limousine bus , they leave like every 15 to 20 mins , it’s just outside their terminal 1 , they will drop you off in front of your hotel .

So taxis are very very expensive in Japan. I paid over 10$ when it was just like one subway station away. Also Narita airport is quite far :)

You can see it's getting a lot fuller everywhere. The cities come alive again. Corona has slowed it down, but now people want to get out and live as before.🛫 I always enjoy seeing big cities, even though I'm more of a country kid. I think you absorb so many impressions and vibrations in cities. All the better is your conclusion in the bar.🥃 Quiet atmospheres and only isolated noises can be very memorable. This change between loud and quiet or fast (빨리 빨리😊) and slow is nice.
Jun is a great travel companion. He always seems so chilled.👌 🥰 I hope you found some new ideas. And that about the app for the menus is a good tip. Plus: Most of the time it's actually the case that there are nice people in every country who help. ❤ These are particularly beautiful experiences. That's what I experienced in Korea, for example.💖 Thank you for the vlog! 🤗

Nice to see Narita airport again and the train and stuff. Last time I was there I was flight sick as hell, and my husband was literally dragging me through the airport 😂 Horrible.
And yes, it’s definitely an experience when there isn’t much in English but you still manage somehow. I have been to many cities in Japan all over Japan, even small ones - and we managed just fine.🤗
I think it's a dangerous statement to say Koreans hate Japan...! there are some historical background and some arguments onlien related to history but it doesn't represent the whole country and people :)
@@ThizisDanny No, Im generalising certainly. I don’t think it’s a dangerous statement - not in this forum and not from me, I would say. I’ve heard several Koreans say it on TH-cam. What they say is on them. I think Japan must be aware of the tensions they are creating when they haven’t apologised to Korea, so I doubt that they aren’t aware of the feelings some Koreans have.
Im pretty sure that if the general public in Japan felt it decent to apologise to Korea, like the Germans did, then it would push the government to apologise.
