Good post
As a Korean teacher, I am very happy that influencers like you are creating Korean travel content for foreigners!
Thanks. This was so helpful and you gave tips that we don’t often get. A friend was touring Seoul and a man approached her and wanted to marry her. Since she is already married she laughed at it but now I wonder if it was a cult. Good to be aware while we enjoy your beautiful country.
either cult or someone really CRAZY
How old are you
A joke 😂
Very helpful information. I started planning my trip to South Korea two years before I went. I studied everything! My daughters and I had so much fun! No problems at all! You just need to prepare and join travel sights! That’s how I discovered you Dan!
How awesome. Did you learn any language?
I learned a few words, but I don’t remember having any communication issues.
What sites did you use?
Planning again in a couple of years.😊
I just visited for 14 days trip, I love Korea and Korean people very much and I still do, The one thing I am disappointed with is, Korean people don't smiles I don't know the reason behind this , I was so excited to visit Korea and meet Korean people but nobody smiles back at you , I hope and wish Korean people smile more when someone smiles at them, I love everything about Korea and Koreans very very much ❤❤❤
Smiling at strangers is only a social norm in some countries. In some, it's considered super weird. My friends that went to Russia to study were told it was super weird and creepy that they smiled so much.
Come to Thailand the land of Smile. Thai is much much much better than Koreans 😊
It’s just a cultural thing. You shouldn’t be offended.
😂😂th-cam.com/video/nsDvrUUFtdk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=esdE7GeOldR83DrO
Why should they 🤷♀️ I’m from Denmark 🇩🇰 We don’t smile at strangers either. That’s considered really weird 😳 Sounds like i’ll feel right at home 🤣
Luckily when I went to Seoul, all of the restaurants I went to did allow me to dine alone. I absolutely do not know anyone in Seoul so it would have been a problem otherwise. Although I guess in Seoul there are so many restaurants and finding another restaurant will not be a problem. I also used Naver Map and it really was good especially for finding out which train or bus to use from point A to B. But its usage is a bit difficult if one doesn‘t know any Korean. I fortunately know some Korean so it was okay. The supermarket tip will be helpful when I go visit Korea again! Cheers!
Excellent stuff Dan. Thank you!
Such great tips, thank you!
You give the best advice!! Thank you for helping a hopeful future traveler.
Thank you, this was very helpful for my upcoming trip!
Another great video by Danny! Thanks. A fan from Canada!
Thank you Dan for the tips. Looking forward to my trip to Korea in April 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this information! It's totally useful!! Everything you share is useful!
This is the first useful video I watched about Korea. Thanks a million!
Thank you soooo much....will be travelling to Korea next year so this was absolutely helpful
Love the tip and content 👏👏👏
Valuable tips for my October trip. Thank you Dan.
This is really great Dan, thanks!! I especially loved the late night snack video 😁 what a great tip. Plus i think it’s nice stores do that to save foods instead of just throwing them away. Also it’s nice if maybe you’re on a budget whether a resident or a tourist you could benefit from that. The money card that was also very useful as a person who has travelled its good to know these things. When we travelled to England, France and Italy we bought a Euro Pass for the train it saved us a lot. And i believe England had something for their underground, I’m thinking most places you can buy passes for transportation. If I’m ever fortunate enough to travel to Korea i will watch this again as well as your other video because you had other information in that one. Thanks great video. Not sure where you’re travelling next but i look forward to it 😁. Have a great day or evening time zones are not my specialty.
I have enjoyed watching your videos since I discovered them last year. You are always so entertaining, and now informative. Thank you
Thank you so much! Those tips are really helpful and reliable and timely as I say. I'm planning to travel to Korea soon and your advices and tips are really much of a help for me to ease everything. Gomawo Hyungnim!

Thanks Danny! You're always entertaining and informative. Keep working hard. Hope to visit someday.

Thanks Dan! Very helpful!❤
This was tremendously helpful. Thank you.
I took some of your tips on the first trip I went there and they were very helpful. This is just as helpful for others.😊 thanks, Dan
This video is going to be so helpful when I go Korea next year. Thank you. Awesome video. Love it.
It’s so helpful this advice. Thank you Dan for always telling us before. I was once in Korea, I loved it but I don’t really know all these things. I agree with you, the little plastic bag is very important. ThXxxxxxx can’t wait to return back
Thank you Dan for amazing tips and information! It’s really helpful for any future travels! I appreciate it Dan! ☺️🙇🏻♀️🙏

Great tips! Im a new follower and love your content. Straightforward and honest. Hope to visit korea one day
I find important:🚽🧻
There are a lot of public toilets, which are also very clean and freely accessible.🧏♀️ But please always pay attention to how the toilet paper should be disposed of.
That doesn't exist in Germany. Better to sweat it out.
Must try: I fell in love with these fish. The sweet dough with pudding filling. Delicious. And of course 🍗🍗🍗 and kimchi! And and and...
Thank you very much Danny for the great tips
This is so helpful. Just found your channel. I will be in Seoul by myself in late March/April for the first time so any info is welcome. I work full time and been busy so I haven't even had time to study the language. Tips like this make me feel more confident.
Im planning to go to korea for the first time hopefully this year. Im grateful to have come accross your channel. Thank you 😊!

Very nice video, Dan! I learned a lot! It is nice to have these tips, it makes the trip to Korea a whole lot nicer and easier. Thanks for such an informative video! 🌞😊👍
I want to ask one question .
1)Many people don't eat non-veg and there are also vegetarians. Like Indians, can you tell me if they have any options in terms of food? 😊
I don't eat non-veg, I don't eat onion ,curd, I eat onions only when fried and cooked, I don't eat onions raw. That's why I asked., so many indian s don't eat onions, meat, chicken, some members do not eat 😊Ginger and garlic are also . Whenever we come to Kore😊qa for a trip, I don't eat non-veg,When we go to a hotel or a restaurant, when we order food, if we order the food we like, no one knows what animal meat is added to that food. Can you give any tips for such people?😊
Almost 100K. Keep it up! :)
So helpful!!😊 Thank you!
Thank you so much Dan for the tips

We are going to Korea in May 2024 and we are very thankful for your tips! I'll keep them in mind. We wish you a very happy and succesful year!
I visited Korea for the first time in August, will be visiting Korea again in January which is in less than 2 months …. I am so exited ! Thank you for this great video ! ❤️
Wow thanks for all the tips, it's extremely helpful! I really hope to have the opportunity to travel there! If I'll ever visit South Korea, your informative tips will definitely come in handy! Right now, subscribed to your Channel to follow any future tips! Thanks again for sharing! 💜🤗👍🏼
thankyou!!! it will be really useful for my future trip!
Thank you for these helpful tips. I am visiting this year. Preparing myself to keep social interations with Koreans to a minimum (mostly hotel staff or checking out at a store and/or restaurant). Avoid/ignore those who try to socialize or approach us with love bombing or asking for directions. It will be a very interesting trip. Glad I have someone to travel with!
I’m going in few days and thank you so much for the great tip 👍🏼❤
I’m going to Korea in two weeks n I’m so exited to be there soon ❤️❤️
thanks for the tips!! sub you! hopefully getting more helpful tips since I'll be traveling to Korea next yr!
Thisbis very helpful! I am heading to Seoul in about one week and I'm trying to gather as much info as possible.
Very informative video, thank you Dan. I llbe in Korea this April ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Dan for the info have a nice day ❤❤❤
Very good advice, thanks Dan.👍 As always, informative, to the point and based on your own experience. It’s cool, Dan, that on your channel you successfully combine different types of content: travel, interviews, advice, just sharing personal impressions, and so on. Keep it up. And don’t forget that you are just handsome (I hope you smile while reading this😊😉). Take care of yourself!
Another interesting vlog and gives many of us a good insight into travelling in Korea. Thanks Dan!
you’re welcome :)
Hi Dan, I just discovered your channel and I’m hooked..lol..Such a refreshing and thoughtful advice .
I’ve lived in Seoul for a long time, my husband and I raised our kids in Seoul. We went back to Sydney back in 2008. I Love your channel. I was laughing at all the tips you discussed at how accurate it was.I remembered seeing the cults ladies in Itaewon long time ago.. Luckily for my family, my husband company provided us with English speaking drivers, so we were never exposed to most of the things you said…
Love your work ..Keep it going.
Love from Australia.
Just came across your channel, great stuff. Heading back to Korea to visit friends and see the new Starfield Library
Nice to hear you Dan!!! Good tips thanks
you’re welcome :)
Thank you so much. This has been super helpful and all will be implemented. Also the late night snack sale😁. If I encounter a fellow tourist it would not surprise me if it were a follower of yours - now that you have spilled the beans so to speak 😁. And I will finally get to have a drink at your bar. Looking forward to that and the food 😊
Thanks for the info, Dan. I will use it if I ever get to go to Kora.
Thanks for the helpful information! I'll be travelling to Seoul this December and I'll be stopping by Incheon for 2D1N, hopefully I'll be able to visit your cafe and bar as well!
Thanks for sharing some tips :)
Heading to travel through South korea a week on Monday so exited

Hi Dan! Thank you!
Daiso is insane, I love it. We went to the 11 floor one so many times and filled up a giant bag.
After long time. Thanks for sharing valuable Vedio. It's always helpful. 👍
Very usefu tips, thank you.
Thank you for this video. I am beginning to prepare for a future trip to Korea. This is extremely helpful for a first time traveler. ❤
Me too. This is so helpful. Especially about the Cult thing. 😅
Visiting Korea is on my bucket list and hopefully it will happen within the next few years. These tips will be extremely helpful. And I will be sure to visit Zaneuk and hopefully get to meet you. Regarding your aura: I don't know much about this, but I would say you have a combination blue-green aura; you seem to have an inner light that radiates positive, uplifting energy that affects those around you and makes them feel good.
Great tips! Here in Australia I often buy markdown food especially meat I would be so excited to visit Korea just to say I found some markdown food my subscribers would say 'only you' LOL
I love markdown food! hahaha
Oh wow! So many good tips! Thank you. I've known about T-money card but the rest was a bunch of useful information. 감사합니다🙇♀️

Thank you for once again preparing us and giving us a "heads up" before our trips to Korea.
Hope you're doing well and you're happy ❤
끝
P.S. I think you said about the wifi egg (the thing you can buy in the airport so you can have internet wherever you go) in other videos, right? 🤔
Thanks for the tips! This would have been useful when I was there 2 weeks ago! Haha
I appreciate your tips for travelling to Korea. I like it from your point of view as a Korean :)
I hear so many different views from people travelling to Korea, esp. as a foreigner. It gives me a mix of vibes. I would like to visit Korea and then for a second I think to myself that it might not be a good idea.
I think I will feel very lonely travelling to Korea, so far away from home in a completely different country with nobody to communicate with.
You say that Koreans usually don't come up to you, so I imagine travelling to Korea without talking to anybody 😅
A guy told that he was at a nightclub and a girl was sitting at the stairs and a Korean guy appeared to her and grabbed her aggressively, trying to force her into a car. The guy goes up to the girl and asks her if she knew the guy, and she replies no. The guy managed to take the girl away from the guy, and she was very grateful. The girl was not Korean, and the guy told that Korean men treat foreign girls differently than Korean girls.
I also saw videos with foreigner girls living in Korea telling similar stories. They are excluded from entering places because they are not Korean, some Koreans talk in polite to them in korean because they are foreigners etc.
I really don't feel as a middle east woman living in a western country, who is use to a culture where we are free and treaten respectfully (most times) go to Korea and have a bad experience.
I have a big passion for Korea, and I am very interested in Korean culture and history. I don't want that passion to vanish by travelling to Korea with a bad experience.
I know I am very sceptical, and people are different, and of course, not all koreans are the same. A part of me really really wants to see Korea, and then there are the suspicious parts that will not :)
Good tips, thanks.
wow, thank you for the info, it's really helpful. reminds me of my first experience in Korea 5 years ago,hmmm...miss the atmosphere of Gangnam and Hongdae 😊
Dan, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Take care❤😊.
Your videos on „How to…“ in Korea are always enjoyable, very useful, and just fun to watch! Thank you for making them, Danny! 👏🙏😊 Love your hoodie and your smiles extra in this one. 🥰 Your Aura does stand out, that`s just who you are and how it is, just stating facts. 😉😁 I personally find it great that stores in Korea are open until very late, especially the 24h ones. Did I get it right that there are enough stores open 24h?😅 Because here in Austria you`re practically screwed from a certain hour on, weekdays mostly around 8pm, Saturdays even earlier around 6pm AND also Sundays closed all day. 😂
yes in Korea there are so many 24 shops! you will not starve ( if you are in the city) no matter which time it is!!
Thank you Dan for your videos - It is very informative! T-Money card , Street Cults, Taxies, Trash Plastic bags - All these are excellent advices!
