I think deciding to live life to the fullest is one of the best ways to honor them, and is a good reminder to me as well. I’m an American living in Korea right now, and am in a strange balance of living my dream and trying to live life to the fullest, while also being far from friends and loved ones. I try not to fear all the bad “what ifs” that could happen, but it is good to remember that we are all human, we never know what will happen and so to make the most out of everything. Thank you for sharing that part of your life and this reflection with us. I hope you are getting the time you need to grieve and process, and that together with your loved ones you can find comfort and peace. I don’t know if you like Marvel, but there’s a quote from Vision in one of the films that I find quite powerful: “What is grief, if not love?” Sending love and a virtual hug!

I definitely know the feeling i lost my one and only son oct3,2020 and its definitely hard and there is never a time to stop grieving either my son and i was very close prayers and condolences to you Dan (Mihanae) on your loss but i am learning to keep the beautiful memories i also lost someone else i was close to she was like a biological sis to me when you dont reach out to too many people and you have a small circle of friends and i have only 4 friends when you lose one this can bring a big voiid in someone life too. Something similar happened to me also when I ate it the first time, but I was sitting in bright light surrounded by about a dozen business people when I spit it out with an uncontrollable "Blah" noise for everyone to see and hear. ROFL! 😆😂🤣I especially liked the silence bar with the open crackling fire and the smoothie cocktail looked also yummy too. The part when you heard about your friend`s passing....it must`ve been very hard and even harder because you were on a trip. A special thank you for showing that side, too, Danny. Really sorry to hear that but you are right that none of us know what comes next. Let's not take anyone for granted and treasure them when they are still here. The yakitori place you went to (fuku) is a favorite and regular of mine!! I go every time I am in tokyo, while the English menu is decent, do use google translate on the Japanese menu, they tend to have seasonal items (e.g oysters, special chicken etc)
Hey Dan, You guys took a taxi from Shibuya Station to Ebisu Yokocho, but the driver was surprised and asked you why the destination was in front of Ebisu Station. Because you were able to go in one station on Yamanote Line. He was surprised that you took the trouble to take a taxi.
I get confused by the opposite place on the road to drive. When I was in London, I nearly got hit by a car because I forgot to look opposite to what I am used to in Denmark when I crossed the road. When I travel I don't use the Internet or the map. I ask for direction because in that way I experience the locals and I learn to know the city better. It takes a little of patience though to travel like I do. I never plan anything. I travel spontaneous 😊 The food look very delicious. I like to try other countries food and drinks, it gives me a feeling of their culture. I really like the open fire in the bar. It reminds me of my trip to China. In the restaurant on the table there was a hole where there were heath and the pot with the food were placed in there to keep it warm 👌 When I travel I like to go to the convenient store and look for local snacks, drinks and other eatable things. I carry some of them around with me to eat while I walk around the city and also some for breakfast. As much as possible 🤷♀️😅 I remember your friend passing away. I am sorry for your loss and I can imagine how hard it must be. I have lost my best friend and a couple of other families and people I have known. My heart will never truly heal from the grief. I learn to accept with the time that those people are no longer here 🙏 I liked the video and your way of explaining and filming to take us around with you 🙌
