Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? Though we have fallen short of the glory of God by comitting just one sin which we deserve death and hell for, the Good News is that God loved us soo much that He, All-Powerful and All-Knowing Spirit came to earth in a human body as Jesus Christ, the fullness of God bodily, to live a perfect life keeping and fulfilling all laws and commandments, not sinning ONCE, and then sacrificing Himself on a cross for YOU! By shedding His Blood, He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be washed clean from all sins and develop a personal relationship with God and spend eternity together with Him in Heaven. How awesome is that?! That's God's grace. All you have to do to accept His gift of grace is turn away from your sin and believe that Jesus is God, He shed His precious Blood for you and He is risen from the dead, He's in full control of your life that He rules over you. It's not by works or being a good person, it's only by God's grace through faith in Him. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Wow that is so incredible! Please turn to Him, He loves you so much and so do I!!

The best night of going out drinking in my life was in Tokyo this year. Absolutely unmatched energy. Wound up starting at the NY Bar and Grill, met some cool residents from Shinjuku and the next thing you know they're whisking us around until 7am lol. We rolled down at least 8 bars in Golden Gai, added like 3 more people, ate at some crazy local Chinese restaurant in an alley they knew that sat like 7 people and probably had never seen a tourist, and wound up laughing in a heap outside Shinjuku station by the Starbucks as people were starting their work days. Absolute peak adventure. This feels so close to that.

Do you know the name of the small bar you went to? I would love to go to one, but, like you I am a little introverted and I know practically zero Japanese so I am worried about getting turned away or just locals not wanting to engage with me. Do you have any recommendations for drinking at these small bars alone? :)

DUdes straight living the best bar experience ! When I was 18 and got into a dive bar in NYC in east village, the night was amazing as I danced with an older woman who's husband was watching me and stayed in the bar until 4 am. We played board games and shared a pizza delivery with strangers and that was the first time I smoke a cigerrete as a guy from belguim gave me his pack from brussels. This video takes me back as the best dive bars are the ones where strangers mingle and share convos !!

I love the way in Japanese culture honesty and respect of each other is the daily norm. It makes me wonder why here in the United States we are all so indifferent and uncaring and rude all the time! The Japanese are very polite and well mannered. A stranger even let you know that you left some change inside the vending machine. It's nice to know there are still nice people out there.

Our bipartisan polical system is enough to set us up for failure as a nation. As along as there are one side and the other, everyone will think theres are the correct one, which leads to never ending conflicts.
That and our american culture where built on a lot of bloodshed, broken treaty, and segregations. Thats enough to put all sides on the defense.

polite is not the same as nice.
You can have a really cool evening or otherwise encounter with people, but that doesn't mean that you actually made friends. Don't idolize japan. It's just people being a bit drunk and in a friendly mood. Doesn't mean you'll ever see them again. I don't want to be over negative about japan, but I think you'll have an easier time making actual friends in most other countries. I lived in japan for a year and I'm pretty extroverted so I managed to make some friends. But there's plenty of people who stay in japan for a long time and all of their friends will just be other foreigners because it's so difficult to have actual friendships with japanese people.
