- Assassins creed valhalla is the latest release from ubisoft and the latest addition to the assassins creed series of games. The game is very similar to AC odyssey in the way that it draws from the quest structuring and experience of the witcher 3. So what on earth is the spiffing brit doing in a medieval and Viking infested england which is home to constant raids from vikings and very wealthy monasteries in need of raiding. Now this video is going to be dedicated to discovering if assasin's creed valhalla is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits or if breaking the betting mechanics of drinking challenges is broken. Because something tells me players should not be able to make thousands every few mins by just tapping the space bar. But what do you do when you have infinite money well its actually pretty easy to invest your new unlimited silver and infinite cash! Simply purchase every single crafting resource like iron and leather and use it to power level all your items to stupid levels. Then invest all your skill points into archery bonuses and bam our lovely hero eivor has his bow turned from a bit of wood and string to a 50.cal anti tank rifle. So just because you have a power level of 40 it doesnt mean you cant defeat the strongest enemy in the game. Pro tip the best weapon in assasins creed valhalla is just any bow! Sometimes you fix unrealism, other times you just lean into it
This is extremely funny in game
There are several immortal characters who are not meant to be killed until a specific time,but you can kill them anyway if taken out at the right time and because they are immortal their body does not decay. So you can clone cultists bodies and lay them out before the kill mission takes place, then in the cut scene you can make it seem like their whole life is a video games and they are just the next clone in a long line of clones to take their place.

@@bkholla4127 most of the cultists can be tackled and pushed off a high point and killed. Some will show up in the area featured before the mission takes place and you can kill them, the game will warn you not to kill civilians but you can still kill the cultists and later when you have the mission the cut scene will have a dead person saying the lines. Or a headless person. You can kill a guy who isn't meant to be killed leave their body go away come back and the dead body is still there and the npc respawns. You can keep killing and stacking bodies of unkillable npcs cultists and then when you play the mission and you kill them for the mission you can have a nice little pile of cultists clones next to them in the cut scene

I was running around and accidentally killed a major character cultists and yet he still popped up in the story and so I just experiment with what could be done with this exploit

I dived into puddle yesterday and never found my way back.
This is obviously the intended and historically accurate playstyle. Going on raids is basically an attempt to get infinite money.
The original vikings found the infinite money glitch in the simulation and it just involved pillaging monastaries
Infinite money glitch still works today though. It's called robbing the bank. You can play solo or with a crew.
Infinite money glitch is called "warcrime on fish" with a spear in shallow waters.

The real answer there is that for melee dual-wield 2h axe/2h sword/combo of the two is hilariously good. Tons of stuns for 1-hit kill finishers, huge AoE.

This is good for the early game, but I just went full offense with dual wielding bearded axes. You can actually break the game this way too, because you can hold the alternate attack button to do a flurry of attacks at the cost of stamina, and it completely locks enemies in place. Once you expend your stamina you can use an ability (I preferred the jumping ground slam one) and it will completely restore your stamina for some reason. When fighting the wardens, bosses, and legendary animals, I didn't need to implore any strategy that required thinking, because this method literally melts their health bar, and fights that are supposed to be big, epic, and nerve wracking, lasted about 10 seconds. The good things about this method is that you're taking the red tree, so you will naturally have more survivability as well, so even when facing an enemy 100 levels higher than you there's a chance you wont get 1 shot. I finished the Asgard quest line about 100 levels sooner than I was supposed to and had no issues other than a couple unlucky deaths. Nothing gave me any trouble, and they also give you the best bearded axe in the game literally as your first weapon, and you get the second best one fairly early as well, so you can cheese the entire game like this.
Used this exact combo
I did the same, but with Dual Long Swords. It's broken.
Also, having a long sword in your off-hand let's you perform run forward with the sword impaling anybody in the way. It effectively gives you the unlockable run skill for free.
Are you playing on the hard difficulty and scaling? Cause 10 seconds for a boss is like easy mode or normal
It's useful early game but dual wield spears is just best against all enemies.

If you use the harpoon pull and pull them towards you then have a dagger in the right hand and hold the LB (parry) to do the stab attack you can do an infinite loop. The harpoon pull restores the stamina used for the dagger attack and the dagger attack restores the adrenaline used for the harpoon pull. I am playing on the hardest difficulty and got stuck on a zealot above my power and found this out so it should work on all difficulty.
Turns out, when superheroes does that "three point" landing that they do after falling from height, they're actually attacking the ground to avoid fall damage. You learn something every day.

Can I just say. I am very glad I found your content. Easily my second favorite Brit who has made content on this platform. Now I’m sad because I’ll never see you make content with my favorite. Rip to the original Brit. And now I wish I had some of that alcohol you have drinking.
I found an exploit with the wandering zealots where if you engage them early on you can lure them to a high location reload your save and they will be there wandering on their horse from there simply knock them off their horse and they fall to their death.
You can also drown Zealots, weirdly enough. Lure them into the deep water and they eventually die.
Yo im only mentioning this because you can even lead them up to ladders and perches that when you reload your save they will still be up there using their horse the fact that they somehow get the horse up a ladder is amazing

You can literally kill any zealot at like level 24. Just kite them and have the perk where you can throw projectiles back. Takes a little while but pretty easy.
Exactly! I had huge success with this alongside using the eye of nornir perk to hit weak spots. Never really got the people who had a ton of difficulty with the zealots - they're definitely unbalanced, over-leveled, and not very fun to fight due to this, but aren't impossible to beat, especially if you take them out earlier rather than waiting until power level 340
Just take them swimming around the boat 🏊♂️
Brush with death is also a extremely good help with all battles from normal pheasants to even Cordelia

that was an easy exploit but remember towards the middle of the game, the high level enemies couldn't be knocked back

You totally forgot about the rune duplication. Anyway about the Archery... It was overpowered in Odyssey aswell. I think I've defeated every single bounty hunter in that game by sitting on the roof of a temple and shooting arrows down, with them being red skull level. It's nice to see nothing changed.

Me killing zealots in close combat with brush of death uninterruptible combos stuns Parry's and dodging away activating fokus of the nornir and shooting weak points. Also using close combat abilities like fire weapons etc. Etc.. Brit...

I think the 'exploits' make the game even more interesting. It allows you to decide if you want to go that route or having everyone have to follow the exact same path as everyone else. Choice matters.

This is my frustration about the BS "ableist" description that they patched out of the game, making you unable to do side missions before returning to the village in Norway
It honestly isn’t that bad, in my 20 hour play through so far I’ve experienced like 3 minor bugs
@@thegamelabgaming7556 play more. There's at least 4 distinct instances where people had to find work arounds in order to continue the game. There's also dozens and dozens of spots in game where your character can stuck and no way out without reloading an old save. Finally if you have diuel wield daggers and the right setup you can do what he did here with the machine gun bow except with daggers on ANY NPC including bosses. Just machine gun them down with bow or dagger on top difficulty. Game was obviously never tested.
@@dall1786 Exactly. I'm stuck on the Sons of Ragnar quest. Can't get past it and progress the story at all because I can't talk to the guy. Nothing works, 30 hours fuckin wasted. Either restart an old save and lose 20 hours of play, or wait for a patch 😒

I tried the dual weild with odins spear and the one you get off the drengar in Iceland with all stun runes equipped and even on hardest difficulty it was also game breaking.
I do pretty much the same just with critical chance/ damage runes and everything dies so fast

Might be that I'm wrong there but even so, you have to differentiate between the art(the games) and the artist(Ubisoft/Publisher) because if not you could not enjoy many things like music from Michael Jackson or Harry Potter from JK Rowling. Nearly Noone is politically correct and everyone makes mistakes but Ubisoft will get punished if they did what you said(by lawsuits and stuff) so we can still enjoy the video games they make. Im still stuck on: Why do these games about assassins require level ups to make lethal weaponary lethal.
right?
I watch these games on youtube and there does not seem to be any assassins as Player Charterers. Assassin to me means you sneak up on some poor bastard and then murder them. I mean things like garret, knife, poison, and so on.
This game you stand around and shoot people or hit them with a weapon lots lots lots and lots of times. Assassin sneak stab dead.
No Assassins in AC Valhalla.
The game has moved on. Like many others. Halo. Gears ect. You either like it or dont. I dont mind the newer AC games, only thing i detest is if you sneak up on a common enemy.. they should die, or be severely crippled.
Even AC1 had boss fights. So thats no excuse for anything.
There’s an option in the menu to make all assassination attacks an instant kill in this one.
It’s a nice change, you can choose if you want something closer to AC1 or 2 if you want.
bc generic gameplay has a larger playerbase than niche stealth gameplay
Also dual 2-handed weapons are insane. Spear in the right hand, and axe in the left hand. Hold the L1 button (the parry button) and do the spin until you are out of stamina. When fighting a tough solo enemy, use the harpoon ability to pull him closer and stagger. Do the spin attack until you are out of stamina. Spin attack will most likely refill the adrenaline bar, so you can do the harpoon again. And when you are using harpoon while being out of stamina it just instantly refills.

I found that if you get the catch projetile midair skill, and get on top of any structure, the Zealots will just continuously chuck javelins at you that you can just throw back for massive damage.

Not sure if there is a video on this but I was able to beat the zealots by luring them to your boat, jump on and shoot arrows at them. For some reason your arrows never run out and your crew fire arrows too
