- With the us election in full swing I decided now would be the perfect time to break the usa election and america in general by playing democracy 4 and exploiting the systems in the game so that we have unlimited political capital allowing us to make sweeping changes like breaking the democratic elections and votes in america so that the queen can win! Thats right the queen is back baby and just in time to abolish term limits allowing her to rule for life over a new nation of tea drinking, queen praising tax payers. Honestly this is the craziest and funniest democracy 4 gameplay video yet as it turns out all you need to do to boost life spans by 66% is remove democracy and let the queen take over. I mean after all she is an immortal! This game is basically democracy 3 but with even more funny moments and a great montage of insane policy strategies that you can attempt to pull off like removing free press and installing mandatory brain chips now thats how to win any vote and election!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. For those who don't know the exploit came from Democracy 3. Where if you changed a slider but didn't revert it before going back or exiting it would take the points but not make any change. In correcting it for Democracy 4 they accidentally (or purposefully) made it work the opposite.

Nations don't generally rise as democracies since they have been very rare until recent times. Governments can also be democratic and republics so they are not mutually exclusive. They can also be constitutional monarchies and democracies like here in Canada.

@Hello Hallo No, I'm attacking people who think that a chancellor being in his position in a parliamentary republic for a long time and a president being in his position in a presidential republic is the same thing. That sort of rhetoric is defending what is practically an usurpation of power in Russia by seeking to normalize it. Germany is still a democracy after having Merkel for 20+ years, Putin in his 20+ years has collected all of the political power in his own hands and is now effectively the dictator of Russia. Obviously there are also other factors involved, but a president having broader powers than a chancellor in their respective republics played a big role in this.
@Hello Hallo Except it isn't and it does. A parliamentary republic is basically geared for safety at the expense of flexibility by having more checks and balances and putting less power into any single person's hands. As such, it can resist devolving into a dictatorship much better. Hence why all presidential republics that haven't descended into dictatorships have a term limit for the president and almost all parliamentary republics do not have one for a prime minister/chancellor.

I find it hilarious that the US has the most military spending in the game at like 180 b, but in rl it's 500b more.
It’s actually closer to $800+ Billion per year
The game is broken down into quarters. So $180Bx4 = $720B, which is more accurate.
Which is in large part because we spend so much on protecting EU with huge amounts of military bases in ally countries.
I vote we pull out and let them spend money on their own militaries.
The income tax is way lower too.
