my fiance is undergoing immunotherapy (keytruda) for stage 4 lung cancer, he said this is worse than chemo, he feels very weak, He developed pneumonia, blood clots in the leg and in the lungs. He was given his third session just 2 days ago and now he's very sick, on the upside, the doctor said that his treatment is doing really well but he feels crappy.
My first treatment of immunotherapy with chemo went really bad...I had severe lower back spasms, heart palpitations, severe heat flash that made my entire face turn red, headache and my eyes got so blurry, I couldn't make out faces. I then told my oncologist that first reaction was enough for me not to want immunotherapy as part of my treatment. Please research things on your own, ask lots of questions and advocate for yourself 🙏
The new immunotherapy out today compared to 4 or 5 years ago I have stage three lung cancer from agent orange in 2019 and my doctor has it in remission for two years now these doctors that get out here and blast this drugs should let the people know if you are a doctor I had no side effects from mine there are side effects on all drugs I know many people who have had it with no problems of you can’t be honest don’t slam it.
I have had four infusions of opdivo in the last four months. 480 mg each. My main side effect is pain in both my rotator cuffs. My range of motion is moderately restricted and painful. Cannot reach behind my back or reach things in high or low places such as reaching top shelves in kitchen cabinets or bottom shelves in refrigerator. Minor side effects are hot flashes, headaches, and intermittent sharp pain in all areas of my body. 69yo male. Lung cancer.
My wife have a Granulosa ovarian cancer and the quemmoteraphy don’t work and we star you look for immunotherapy but after we seen the side effect of the immunotherapy my personal opinion is who want to get a treatment can cost a permanent Damage I don’t want that for my wife
I'm very sorry for what happened to your husband 😞 It's horrendous what these cancer "therapies" are doing to us and what's worse is that these doctors are not giving us full information in order for us to make real, informative decisions about our own health.
You better really pray about it. I had one treatment of it four months ago and it about killed me this week. Spent four days in the hospital.

@@joanbaczek2575 did you go on keytruda? i have been on for a yr. and while i have had my issues with headaches and gastro issues, i feel pretty good.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my cousin to pneumonia due to chemotherapy smh. These poisons are a gamble
