I have stage 3, NSCC lung cancer. Have had 5 chemo treatments, (scheduled for 6, but the 5th treatment put me in the hospital for 5 days.) Also had 15 treatments of radiation.
Presently on my 12th treatment of Imfinzi, immunotherapy.
Haven't really had any side effects, other than a little fatigue. All in all, I'm feeling pretty well.
Will know how much the tumors in my right lung have shrunk, with next catscan at the end of November.
    BTW, never smoked,

my mum had her first keytruda 3 weeks ago. She feels fatigued and a bit depressed, Mum has also an inoperable tumour in her groin which is being treated with radio. We were told today her tumour may breakthrough skin. I hope mum will be the lucky one with keytruda.

First thing you could do for her is to stop praying and consentrate on helping her.

I was going to start but I found out you have to have the PD1 protein for
      Keytruda to work?
And proton therapy in the neck after one week I had to stop then I was supposed to do it 8 weeks.

I have kidney cancer and after having my kidney removed I did Keytruda for one year and I’m still clear. The first few treatments I experienced a few days of flu like symptoms. I started taking turkey tail mushrooms and they really helped with the side effects. I didn’t have many issues after the first few treatments.

Where do you go? My residents is all I get to see at cancer center and have asked about clinical trials and they have always said there are none. How do you find a doctor? ? Help!

I have just wondered, if there is reason for nearly always treat otitis media. In resent studies has been shown, there is great number viral infections for no need for mortadella catharralis, pneumococci, haemophilus influensae, or other type, bacterial medication like amoxicillin with or without betalactamase, betalactame catabolizing enzyme, blocked like clavulanic acid additive.
Great portion of infections include maybe months lasting inflammation periodide with possible complications including hearing bone chain stiffening and other type of long time period problems.
Should there always be NSAID, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, local medication for prevention of later onsetting hearing problems. And if reasonable considering also possible negative effects and risks (especially, this medication for very young age patients), how should treatment be given. Oral sounds unbearable, outer ear blocking nonsense. If should, then how and by whom?
    Just wondering...

I did great with chemo. Have rare ocular melanoma. Then had immunotherapy and life..if you can call it that...is AWFUL! ! Horrible weakness, bone pain, somedays can't even have strength to talk. The more I ask questions, the more I am given the run around

It's not that they (medical professionals) are giving you the run-a-round, they just don't know yet the whys and hows of these immunotherapy drugs. You know how doctors hate to admit that they don't know something, so they give you what I call the "blah, blah, blahs." which are lots of words to help satisfy you need to know. I guess that's better than lying.

Keytruda is horrible and never leaves your body. Started with itching, then numbness in fingers, feet, weakness, tired. I am looking forward to dying.

May God have mercy on you, if you’re still alive, I have CRC, doing Keytruda. The pain was so horrible until I started it, my pain has subsided, I pray you will appreciate the life God gave you. I did feel the same because the pain was so bad. I pray God has mercy on you.
