I took my first one last night and it's made me feel alot worse than i was before i took it, very bad dizzyness/nausea felt sick i thought i was going throw up and raised my blood pressure and i do have hypertension, made my stomach feel bad all symptoms in one, this is dangerous im leaving them well alone and calling the dr's again. Was prescribed by a dr who isn't my usual dr, stay away from this drug if you have high blood pressure

I've taken it 3 times over the last 2 days and my systolic pressure is 20 mm/hg higher. I'm relaxing now and waiting for this dose to pass so I can switch to another pain killer.
Difficult experience here. Began taking 500mg/twice a day as prescribed for gout pain. I have been very successful bringing my BP down with life style change and have been holding slightly under 120/70 for two months or so. My AM/PM recordings began to climb immediately to a high of 150/80. Called Dr's office right away. I'm going to stay off until recordings are back to normal

Worked for me too, but my doc dosent understand why i need it? says it bad for kidneys if taken over a prolong period. Ive been tested my kidneys are fine.

I have Degenerative Disc Disease and need to take Naproxen.
Can I take it permanently?

@Delta-V1 Hi yes I do. My blood pressure is higher so I’m on 3 meds for that. And I take a medicine that helps with acid so I take it before naproxen. Degenerative disc disease sucks!
I took this medicine 500 mg twice a day after meal for 10 days and I started to experience weird kind of pain in stomach on and off..i was prescribed this drug for kidney stone..i stopped it by myself..
Common side effect. Ask ur doc for antiacids. I personaly take pantrapezol in combination
I took 2 for 2 days no food in the am. I'm really hurting from it I think. Hypertension is absolutely crushing me rn
I took this medication 500mg side effects I got was a rash on my chest and constipation.
Now I have the side effects because now part of my skin is yellow and it’s probably because of too much use of Naproxen for more than two weeks. Thank you for sharing this information.

I do take more than the recommended dose and have not found negative side effects. It does relieve my pain. I should take less but doctor's prescriptions do not help me.

Hello, How long does it take for naproxen to expire? I’ve had it for almost 2 years how long does it last?
Usually the expiry date should be on the prescription bottle bu I know often times they don't put it on. Having said that, I read that it is still effective for 52 months after expiry date if the bottle is still sealed. If it is open it should expire earlier and if it changes color better to discard.

Yo. My chest/heart has pain taking it but it’s soothing my tooth pain. I’m only on my second day so this is crazy. I’m also asthmatic so it’s probably worse but my tooth pain is out of this world 🥴☹️💔

@@jonsnow6741 hope all goes good I take naproxen 375mg 3 times a day.. Few days ago I tried CBD oil for a test and it killed my guts so back to naproxen . I’m waiting to call my dr to I am out of refills 😳

Hey Dr, thanks for the video. I've noticed that when I take Aleve, I have to pee very often and very urgently. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Can damage kidneys, check your creatinine blood test and Gfr and urine protein .
I’m finding some meds can also cause urinary retention. If you have anything going on like that after taking it, stop taking it.

Yeah same I’ve had a horrible back pain for over 2 years I can no longer do the things I used to do such as football or long walks, it’s like a stabbing pain I have a scam coming up soon so hopefully they can see what the problem is
Naproxen is an nsaid so shpuldnt be taken in excess as can lead to cardiovascular issues, shouldnt be taken for people with a history of gastric ulcers, shouldnt be taken by pregnant women and l think by asthmatics
Try stretching and physical therapy instead. I never felt worse than when I went on this. When I complained, dr tried a different one, and then another. What a crappy doctor.

That will give you stomach cancer and kill you fast. My ex girl friend took it like candy she got stomach cancer and past away in a lot of pain God Bless you.
