Thanks for the shout out Jim ! 🇬🇧 And yes it’s all your fault I am now addicted to Coleus !! 🤣 I Couldn’t ask for a better mentor! Here’s to 2024 season my friend! 🍺 looking fabulous!! 🌸
You say we’re not here to listen to you….but what happens if some of us ARE actually here to listen to you? Lol. 😂 Love that Jersey accent, Jim. It’s so cool that you built your own little greenhouse. Your little plants look fabulous and they’re really starting to take off. My fairway mosaic plant is constantly trying to flower. It’s kind of annoying how much it insists on sending up flowers when I just want leaves. Lol Kingswood Torch is such an AWESOME variety. It almost looks fluorescent when it gets going. What a showstopper variety. I love mine. ❤❤❤
LOL!! Glad you're still enjoying my Joisey accent!! 😆. Hey No kidding about those Fairway Mosaics!! They are MAAAD SEEDERS!!! I harvested a Kajillllion seeds over the past few years. They can be a bit temperamental too I found...but this batch seems strong!! I'm hoping the 75 late Wizard Rose Kongs I just planted catch up soon!!! Chat soon Sherry
Wow!!! This is a great video. I'm excited for the beginning of the coleus season on your channel. Your collection of coleus is just amazing. I enjoyed watching all winter long and now I get to see your results. It's hard to pick a favorite because each and every single one looks fantastic. Mine are coming along nicely, but I only started with a few, and I'm anxious for the warmer weather to come to plant them outside. I'll continue watching and learning from your videos. You are a good teacher. I love your enthusiasm. Many thanks!!!!
Hey Michael!! You are soo right. Too many to have favorites.... but I do !! 😆. It is not necessary to grow hundreds of Coleus to enjoy them. I only do so bc of my Farmers market. But it's sooo tempting to grow alot bc the seeds are so small!!! I so appreciate your watching and I'm motivated by YOUR enthusiasm !!! Thanks Mike!!
A bit warmer here at the coast. Low 40's but it's climbing. The heater kept the Greenhouse a nice toasty 70°-75°... but now that the sun has risen.... I had the timer set to turn off at 8:30am.... soon it will climb inside to 90°. I'll then open a few windows to keep it there. Next week's look to be in the 50's overnight so All looks great. So your nights shouldn't be too far off...45+?
@@Jimswholiestofcoleus the evenings were in the mid 40s and 50s but this week is going to be much cooler. Daytime temps are fine. Ranging from 80 one day to today at 55.
I bought four coleus plants and transplanted them to bigger pots today. I left them outside tonight and temperature will be in high forties. I hope they will survive. Can’t get to them to bring inside. 😢
If you bought them from an outdoor nursery then they were hardened off already and should be OK. As long as it's not cold and windy also. Worst case if a few leaves get damages...just snip them and new growth will arrive soon.
@@Jimswholiestofcoleus they look healthy still. I brought them home so I can have better control of them . When weather is warmer I will leave outside. Thank you. Love your TH-cam channel on coleus plants.
@deandrecoleman8018 I use Miracle-Gro moisture control Potting Soil in the Blue Bag..but if you live in a region that gets alot of rain then try the Regular Miracle-Gro potting soil in the Green bag. I highly suggest using the best potting soil you can get or supplement cheaper Potting soils with coconut coir, worm castings, peat and perlite....
Thanks for the shout out Jim ! 🇬🇧

Just in time for your greenhouse to open. It was only 36 when I got up this morning. We are going backwards. Crazy.

You also get very hot weather? Regular near daily showers?? You will probably do well with the Moisture control.
