Just scrolling through the comments, what’s left to say!? Everyone in your community is so proud and downright elated for you💚💃🏼I’m glad I get to watch this, especially the parts where you mention your utility bills, the cost of machinery, the countless hours, the insane amount of help from fam & friends, we get a first hand look of what goes into the makings of a beautiful plant nursery. Never again will I complain about the high cost of things at my favorite LOCAL plant shops!!! Yikes. You got this Nicole, you are going to soar baby💫💫💫💫💫✌🏽💚🌱
Absolutely brings tears to my eyes seeing you at this point finally. Living your dream and killing it over there! All the stress you've been through getting the nursery to this point is already proving to be so worth it! Look what you've built and accomplished with your family!
I'm a novice, but self-proclaimed problem solver & engineer... 😂 What about different colors of masking tape to put small pieces on the ends of each tray with each color representing the things that plant loves!? Blue=loves damp soil Brown= less water Green=shade loving Yellow=Full sun etc? Also removable hoops on tables for use with shade cloths is what I see Lowe's garden center using all the time. Both my daughters have worked there and cursed the days they dedicated to set all those cinders/tabletops/hoops up. 😆 You're learning as you go with trial and error. I'm sure I speak for all of your friends, we love the transparency and vulnerability and comic relief!! Learning along is such a 😊 JOY!! Practice makes PROGRESS. Keep it up! Sure wish I was closer. Cincinnati Ohio here.
I can smell the fresh air of the greenhouse through the screen. I'm so daggone proud of you and I wish you all the best this year. And thank goodness the forner owners showed you what was going on with that pot filler. Helps to have friends that are willing to help. :)
Hi Nichole. Love what your doing. I worked at a green house in the past. Watering was key. My boss would have us do a count of three on hanging baskets when it was hot. And not water on cloudy days. Wish you the best. So excited for you and your family.
It's coming together beautiful! Wishing you great success with it all. A YT channel you should checkout, the veggie boys , they have a family farm and greenhouses, they grow thousands of plants for their own farm and for their farm store, flowers included. Lots of tips to gleam there from a family that's been doing it for many generations. Thanks for sharing with us, I so enjoy seeing the journey.
That ending was fantastic. Seeing you walk so proudly amongst your dream come true. Words can't describe how happy I am for you all. I pray enormous blessings and so much success for your family business. God bless.
So exciting!! Not that you have any time to watch TH-cam, but The Veggie Boys have the same pot filling machine and have shown it working in a few of their videos recently...they fill a lot of pots, with 2-4 ppl together making fast work of it 😊
The progress is amazing! Do you wake up in the morning and say to yourself, "I own a Nursery!" ? We have one nursery located in The Great Swamp in NJ and they do what you are doing, and now I can appreciate all of the hard work and effort it takes to pull off the Spring & Summer Sales in their greenhouse. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Ahh seeing you walk through that beautiful plant filled greenhouse in the ending shots is a total “made it” moment🎉 So happy for you and all you’ve accomplished so far, you’ve got this Nicole! Shoutout to all your helpers, what an amazing crew!
It brings tears to my eyes to see you shine in your element! Like a Duck to water. Your fear was just the fear of the unknown. Soon you will be able to sit back and take it all in. Now THAT will be a real sense of accomplishment! You are growing in more ways than one. Peace.
You just have to be careful with that cause the plants under can get really splattered and messy looking since the top plants will drip on them after watering. Also with the extra moisture on the foliage you have to be careful that you dont get things like rot of things like that. At least that's what hapens in my humid climate. But I'm sure you can figure out something that will work for you in your climate! I'm loving watching and following along with your journey!!
GROW BABIES GROW!!!! I think I can smell the greenhouse from here.. You......have......arrived!!! Your hard work is paying off. You and the family should celebrate this summer with a picnic or something relaxing. I would just want to stand in it and be present in the moment. Flower love to you and CONGRATS!!!!
Might want to add a thin layer of vermiculite to keep the fungus gnats away. It will keep fungus gnats from laying eggs in the soil and it will keep moisture in the soil. I use it and it works very well.
I love your videos! Thanks for taking your viewers along on this wonderful journey. As you have said before, you have the best and most helpful family. Everything is looking great!!
All that hard work is paying off. Looks fabulous! It is good to see all the materials, steps, and work that goes in. I feel I can appreciate what I am buying more now.
Everything is looking so good! I can’t wait to see those hanging baskets at your grand opening! Pat yourself on the back Nicole! And say a big thank you to all your family for us. Making your dreams a reality is pretty darn amazing.
i loved this video. i could watch potting and planting videos for days. im so excited for you and am glad it's going well and you're starting to feel less stressed about the whole thing
Congratulations you did it. You have come so far and it's all up hill now. Can't wait to see and hear how your opening day goes. If I lived by you in New York, I would differently shop your greenhouses. who knows maybe someday you'll do mail orders. If anyone could do it, would be you. 😎 Thanks for taking us on your journey. Look forward to your videos.
Wow! You are truly blessed with a great family and wonderful friends who are helping out. I am so proud of you. You have brought us along on this journey and we ALL feel part of it. Thank you! I bet every one of us that follows you would love to come visit your nursery once it is open. 🤩👏🌺
Where I work we have added gutters to the sides of the benches for the spiller 4" pots. We also do the raised centers, and sometimes have a second tray of product scooted under the main bench and refill the holes as we sell. They mature slower there, but it spaces out our product a bit-- which with some annuals is helpful. Also as the green house is north south orientation the west side is somewhat different in sun than the east side.
🎼It's beginning to look a lot like- greenhouse! 🎶 Suggestion on the ferns: they're tiny & cute, so run with that. Pot them up with tiny flowers, dress them up with cute little ribbons & picks, set them next to some fairy garden stuff....
I would be tempted to add some color coded stickers to your plant sections. Like the circle dots, with diff colors meaning they like to be dry, or wet, cool, warm, or other different needs. That way you can see at a glass.
So amazing! Can't wait to see all those plants as "teenagers" since we were there for the "delivery" and "infancy". You are a proud parent as you should be! And your extended family can be so proud too. It takes a village to raise a nursery.
SO much progress! It’s really unbelievable how much you’ve been able to accomplish. Stay healthy- don’t get too run down - I love seeing all that beautiful green! 🪴
I believe you are doing great and it is always much easier to be afraid of the unknown but you are doing fantastic. I just want to say congratulations, everything is looking phenomenal.
im so excited for you honey. your such and inspiration! wish i was there helping. bless you throuout your day. thank you for including us on this wonderful journey.
We are all rooting for you Nicole. You inspire us with how far you have come in just a matter of 4 months! Can’t wait to see all these plugs thrive and grow into lush beautiful healthy plants for sale! Good luck.
Hard to believe that you were able to get this nursery going before Spring arrived. Great vision, great planning!! I am so glad is working out so well. I am also relieved to see you less stressful!! I notice Brad's been there all the way for you. Thanks for your dedication to this channel and bringing us along each step of the way. I pray God continues to give you strength and success into this journey. 🥰🌾🌹❄🍂🌹🌻
What an amazing amount of work you and your family have done -- it definitely looks like a nursery now. Who wouldn't love to hang out in all that greenery?
Love everything about this process. Makes me appreciate everything all nurseries do when getting ready for the selling season . Your family is doing a fantastic job and the only thing the customers are going to focus on when you open is the beautiful plants you have potted up !
This video fills my heart with so much joy! I love your videos so much and seeing your dream unfolding in this big step, a full looking greenhouse 1, is so lovely 💚 wishing you and your family all the best!
Sweetie! you all need a cart for lugging those pots around. So exciting to watch this come about. Makes me want to go volunteer at my loca nursery to help up pot. I do love to play in the dirt.
Loved this... especially when you started tagging each plant before planting it.... with your wonderful new coffee... And how you've fixed and improved your potting equipment....you're in a roll. ..yeah!...
Your story is truly inspiring and also motivational - it’s hard to start your own business, even if you know what you’re doing and prepared years for it - everything looks great!!! Thanks for taking us with you on your journey - rooting for you and your family 💐🌼🌱
I’m retired and love to garden!! If I lived by you I would come and help you plant, so much fun and would meet my need to want to get out and garden. I’m in zone 5B in Northern Indiana. Been having snow or freezing rain last few weeks.

I LOVE The Veggie Boys also their operation is a well oiled machine focusing on efficient productivity.
Once you get your adjustments on the pot filler, mark them with tape or a sharpie with the pot size.
Useful idea!
Hang in there, Next Spring will be a breeze! Cool stuff we are all learning.

Nicole and family you have done amazing work she is indeed looking beautiful and as your grandma said very planty ❤
The oxygen and energy of the plants will keep you going. It looks like a greenhouse should. Full of life.
It brings tears to my eyes to see you shine in your element! Like a Duck to water. Your fear was just the fear of the unknown. Soon you will be able to sit back and take it all in. Now THAT will be a real sense of accomplishment! You are growing in more ways than one. Peace.
Most greenhouse utilize the areas under the tables for their shade loving plants. USE ALL YOUR REALESTATE BABY!
That's the plan! Never enough space!
