There’s a FUCKING AMAZING documentary about Kurt called “Montage of Heck”. It’s like this short that you’re reacting to, but it’s 2 hours long. I cried like a baby through it. I’m born, raised and still live here in Seattle. The whole city was in a surreal state the day he died and for weeks after. In fact, it still is. A HUGE part of Seattle died with Kurt, it’s so plainly obvious in retrospect.
I saw one of these yesterday, but it was a jim morrison interview, its a cool little series, using the real interview audio with the animation....kurt's philosophy & worldview was that of a young dude, now that im almost 50 all these "27 club" ppl just seems like lost kids to me a lot of the time....kurt was so neuro-divergent tho, a really unique soul, marched to his own drummer, as many of the legends did, obviously...but kurt always sounds like a pissed off kid who refuses to eat his peas tho, & its so, so great...i love kurt. He was known for taking interviewers on a ride with some wild tall tales tho, but this one is pretty genuine...good ol' kurt:) Great reaction, sir.
I like your vibe and mind, Pope. You remind me of my godson's older brother Matteo -- quietly confident and deeply intelligent. Are you in fact at Yale? I wouldn't be surprised. If so, curious how you're feeling about the pro-Palestine protests, pro-Israel protests and everything in-between. Yale and Columbia have been in the news a lot the past few days. When I was in college, it was the Rodney King beating and LA riots -- and before that, the first Iraq war. I've now dated myself twice on your channel. :)
He did a great final choice. I've cried and lost 5kg in my bed during ten days when I learned the music's loss coz I loved and love him again soooo much but he stopped radically the pain, the suffer, the depression. He explained it very well himself in his final letter. He chose the bad wife ever but she's absolutely not directly responsible for his death. It was a sui***cide and only that. The most terrible mistake she did is organize the "intervention" in their home in Seattle, with a package of people on drugs too and Kurt has been really HURT and ANGERED by that yelling them how hypocrites they were. She would never send him in Exodus Clinic and Krist Novoselic not only the bassist but his high school's best friend, should have never drive him to the airport where they fought, they fought physically for the 1st time. Kurt was hard on him "Fu**you Krist! Fu** the band and Dave too !!! It's over! Nirvana is finished!" Kurt lived all these final moments like treason and it is treason for me. I don't like Dave Grohl AT ALL but he's the only one who let Kurt do what he wanted, he wasn't at the "intervention" like even the "newly born" Pat Smear was, shame on him. And Frances wouldn't have been a gentle, polite, cool, open minded woman, wife and mother she is now, if her father with complete lucidity, have been there with Courtney and theirs demons and dailies clashs. Even if he was really in love of his wife, (I don't understand why) and ADORED his beautiful baby girl...

Be yourself is ur true identity. Stay away from drugs. He was so talented. Drugs was his identity at the end. ❤
