Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Any advice on getting into Consulting as an experienced hire? I've worked in Big4 Accounting before, but it's been a few years since I graduated and I don't come from a target school
When people "quit" Goldman Sachs or McKinsey, it's because they see the writing on the wall: you either bring money IN to the firm, or you're gonna get axed. Up or out. So they "quit"... Oh, I don't know, maybe I'm just talking out of my ass
Uh my main monitor is a hp omen and then some random dell monitor and I'm not sure what my mount is as my friend gave it to me but you can probably just find some online
Hi Brian, I’ve been following you for quite some time now. Do you have any advice on which companies or commodities to invest in. I’m in South Africa and I want to grow my money through investing. Thanks
@@BrianAriyolol I’m 20 about to transfer out CC to eithe UCSB or cal poly Pomona for econ. Pursing similar path, you push me to want to start interning as soon as I land in college!😅Thanks
In my time on college I did 1 to 2 week internships in consulting. They were called externships and could be done in summer and winter. I’d look into it but I believe most business oriented jobs offer this
He probably did the 1 week internship with Bain & Co. They have a bunch of one-week programs including ADvantage, which according to the website is as follows: "ADvantage is a week-long, paid internship designed specifically for advanced degree candidates that are seeking an immersion into life at Bain and exposure to a career in consulting. Our program includes a full day of training followed by 4 days staffed to a real Bain case team. ADvantage interns will participate in our client work, manage their own workstream with the support of a consultant mentor, and enjoy a variety of social activities to meet the members of our teams and experience our rich and unique culture. Candidates that are selected to participate in our internship program will also receive early consideration and interviews for our full-time consultant positions."
@@nicholas8722 I actually work at Bain in the US I have never heard of this besides for sophomores in minority groups this is good to know, although it sounds like this is also for advanced degree candidates so this would be for masters students and MBAs, I’m guessing this may be a Europe office thing
@@DannyT24 According to Bain's website, this is an American thing, found in the following offices: Atlanta Austin Boston Chicago Dallas Houston Los Angeles New York San Francisco/Silicon Valley Seattle Toronto Washington, DC. I think you might be right re: Diversity. I have a buddy who is doing this program and he is Hispanic. Brian Ariyo is most likely both elligible and qualified for this, which is why I assume this might be the one he's undertaking.
