    A lot of people are asking about the Anessa one so I'll just pin this comment!: I have tried the Anessa before and used it quite a bit while living in Japan! The reason why I didn't include it on this list was because it is significantly more expensive than the others and I wanted to keep this list affordable! x

      So agree! I have oily skin and Japanese Biore sunscreen (milky texture) pretty much gives me the same result with a better price range than the Anessa product. Yesstyle website/app has all of them.

      Hi, Do Japanese outdoor sunscreens have more protection and stronger filters than japanese daily sunscreens?
      And please recommend me a fragrance free sunscreen for daily use and a outdoor activities ( suitable for very oily and acne prone skin)🙏🏻

      Sadly, for me, Anessa is much more effective and less irritate than Biore Watery Essense. From Thailand with daily uv index 15 test. 🤣
      The Biore red tube is interesting, though.

    I used to avoid any thing with alcohol in it due to fear mongering, but after like understanding chemistry and formulation it is something that I think is important in ingredient to make it what they are, if you are looking for something light on the skin. Hence a lot of Japanese sunscreen have alcohol in them, because Asians use sunscreen as a daily moisturizer so it's important to have something light and something that works well under make up. Definitely a win for me from now on

      Sorry to highjack your comment, but to touch on a point you made, I've noticed that fear-mongering and zero-tolerance have been creeping into the skincare community. Too many skincare "stans" think they know more than accredited, licensed experts and just spread misinformation, or they assume that what they or their favorite TH-camr use is the ONLY thing that's right. Alcohol, fragrance, parabens, sustainability, etc. -- cross one person on any of those topics and you'll incur the wrath of a thousand CeraVé teens.
      We're all different, with different skin types and different needs. What works for one won't work for all. We should all just share our knowledge and accept our differences. Trial and error is where it's at.
      Sorry for the rant. It's just frustrating to see what should be a supportive community devolve into cliques and bullying.

      @@sluttymctits4496 totally agree with original comment and your response to it. Thank you to both for posting. And this is not limited to only skin care. I've been wearing Canmake sunscreen for a couple years now. Best I've ever used. As a man, what I like is that it doesn't stick and cake onto facial hair at all like spf lotions and creams always do. It's so light and doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever. Whenever I get a new tube, I go online and purchase a new one since it does take a bit to get here to Canada. It's also not too expensive at all which I can appreciate since a tube lasts about a month only for me.

    Suncut uv gel in the gold bottle and pigeon baby are my favorites. I use the pigeon baby (alcohol free) around my eyes and the suncut gel goes on the rest of my face.

    My holy grail sunscreen are CANMAKE Mermaid Skin Gel UV and ISEHAN Kiss Me Mommy UV Aqua Milk. Recommended by Dr.Dray. I usually buy them from SunSkincare.ca when it's on sale : ) I have eczema and rosacea, these two have changed my life for the better!!

    Can I ask, do Japanese sunscreen cover UVB and UVA? It's just Australian sunscreen standards are very high which is why a lot of brands overseas only end up getting an SPF rating of 15 when it's a 50 in the country of origin.

    • @marcelinaswadzb4816

      Spf50 is covering UVB and PA ++++ is covering UVA. More is better

    So the biore one it says essence but do you put it on after everything, after moisturizer? Or do they say essence cause it’s an essence texture?

    • @mlkytprl
      @mlkytprl 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      the texture only. thats why some spf said milk, lotion, gel, essence. it just the texture :D

    • @imspnce
      @imspnce 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Its a sunscreen. Sunscreens always go after your moisturizer. Its called essence because of its really lightweight texture.

    • @Hana-bb2jv
      @Hana-bb2jv 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mlkytprl yeah that’s what I thought! Also I didn’t think about that, others calling it milk and lotion, thank you!!

    Which one of these sunscreens doesn't have alcohol in it?
    Ps. I do not hate alcohol. I just observed from experience that it makes me 3x oilier than normal if a product I use contains alcohol

    I don't like the biore.. Made my acne prone skin oily at the end of the day. I reuse the biore after few months of ditching it and it separates. So much oil surfaced. Now I only use canmake's. Most comfortable sunscreen I ever used

      I dont believe in "reef safe" i think it will take a lot of tons of sunscreen before it can damage a whole reef. 😅🙃
