A few things to keep in mind, or a *disclaimer* if you will:
    - I have not talked about "eye stinging" since I guess I am one of the few lucky people that do not experience this from sunscreens 😅
    - Also have not listed whether the product is "verified" since this information is very hard to find for Japanese skincare, although most of these products have been around for YEARS and there have been no issues that I know of!
    - Please remember to do your own research to whether a sunscreen may suit you or not as this video includes my personal opinions, and I am not a specialist or dermatologist etc!

My previous sunscreen from pond's was extremely greasy and caused new pimples the following day. So, my friend recommended littllextra riceberry sunscreen.
It's the best sunscreen I’ve ever used, and I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t like wearing makeup. No breakouts, no sweating, no white cast, no irritation under the eyes, and it provides excellent protection with spf 50. What more could you ask? I plan to repurchase this sunscreen endlessly.

I also appreciate you mentioning the ingredients that also make it chemical so I could be able to learn about the ingredients to look out for! It’s crazy how locals brands like Neutrogena makes me soooo white but international brands like Biore UV, whose market doesn’t even have people who look like me in it,…..makes EXCEPTIONAL sunscreens for my skin TONE ANDDDD my oily SKINN! 🫠👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 damn america

I swear by kose sun cut I used the blue bottle first. Love it, super hydrating doesn't peel and there is noooo white cast. I just got the water proof version (gold bottle) in the essence version. It's a bit thicker in consistency and doesn't sink in as fast as the normal version but it doesn't budge and dries down about the same. If you don't like a dewy finish these might not be the sunscreens for you.

I prefer mineral ones, so far I liked Canmake and the Kose pro defence sun milk mineral sunscreen. I lived in Japan and used so many Japanese SPF's and remember loving Biore from which I used many of theirs, the Allie sunscreens and the Anessa ones. Allie was my favourite with how friction and water resistance it was. The chemists behind the Biore Watery Essence have said themselves in interviews that it doesn't spread evenly across the skin and doesn't provide even UV protection. It also continues to slide around the skin after application and doesn't stand up to any amount of perspiration, being moved by swear or even removed entirely. They continue selling it because it's popular and reformulate it often, attempting to fix these issues but have as of yet been unable to.

Titanium oxide is there to make it a hybrid sunscreen as it acts as a physical sun protection. Titanium oxide and zinc oxide are the reason of the horrible white cast that we get in traditional physical sunscreen. BTW, when ever either of these ingredients are there, that sunscreen is no longer considered a chemical sunscreen it becomes a hybrid sunscreen,

I've only tried the Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel, but I looooove it. In my limited experience, US sunscreens tend to be either fairly-to-very greasy or very expensive. Do Japanese sunscreens have an expiration date? I didn't see anything on the packaging or bottle, even when using a translator app on it. I bought it from Amazon, so I'm feeling a little iffy about that, but it's so amazing, I don't want to give it up.

I feel like kbeauty spf isnt enough product. They want us to apply 2 -3 finger lengths but if i do that..the spf runs out suer fast. For example, BOJ spf. 3 finger lengths every 2 hours last me under a week. I have the DermaB Sun Block which is 200 ml versus 50 mg. Why make the product size so small ? They want us to buy more.

    THIS VIDEO IS GODSEND!!
You just saved me massive amounts of money bc I was about to try many of those u listed but thanks to you who listed if they are waterproof or not I could rule out most of the ones on my list (byebye canmake.... 😢😢) bc not waterproof means I'm out even though I rlly wanted to try the mermaid one but it's just not feasible for me if it isn't waterproof...
Only one question remaining from my side: as someone with dry skin which of those would you, Tina, wear on their own like without moisturizer or anything else, just tgr sunscreen? I have combo (not super oily but also not normal) but definitely dehydrated skin, but I also sweat a lot during the day so best for when I go for looks for me is just to wear the sunscreen, nothing underneath but I'm scared this might dry out my skin in thr future without me realising it on time. I spent years building my skin barrier back up after acne treatment so I would hate to wreck it again just bc I skip my mousiturizer for the whole summer😢

Bioré is present in North America and I always thought it was a french brand as theybput a « é » and I am perfectly fluent in French. So why in Japan there are so many sunscreen of this brand I never see before? I google it and it’s a Japanese brand, as it own by Kao corporation! Not sure why they did market all these type here coz suncreen is very popular in every day use and well anchor on our habits.

Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk has the best finish. It feels like wearing nothing at all. Sadly, the protection isn't too reliable. Bioré UV Athlizm is my ultimate favorite, although i do wish it is easier to blend and doesn't stick on my moustache and eyebrows lol. Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence has the best texture, but i'm not a huge fan of its wet finish. Kosé has the best protection and is the most water resistant, but it's sticky and it pills really badly. Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence is me when i want to turn into Avatar lol. Whoever had an idea to give it a purple tint was so guilty.
