Does Muji have one without Olive oil? I always wanted to try their cleansers but I have to be careful because of I’m allergic to olives and products containing the ingredient. That’s why I haven’t tried any DHC products.
My combo/sensitive/acne prone skin routine for the rest of my life, let's gooo 🤪 1. Heimish All clean balm 2. Krave beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser 3. by Wishtrend 7% Mandelic acid 4. Paula's choice 2% BHA exfoliant 5. SKIN1004 Centella ampoule 6. Krave beauty Great barrier relief 7. Goodal Vita C dark spot serum 8. Differin adapalene 0,1% gel 9. Purito Deep sea water cream 10. Beauty of Joseon Rice and Probiotics spf and Round lab Birch Juice spf P.S. I use each exfoliant once a week and adapalene gel three times a week 😇
Do you have any recommendations besides the purito deep sea water cream? I have used it but my skin hates niacinamide😣 I have been looking for a thicker cream at night, and it seems we have the same skin type! I really wanted to try the thank you farmer cream and gel hybrid, but of course there’s niacinamide 🥲
@@adinadautova3735 thank you!! I want something that’s a thicker cream but not pore clogging! So hard to find one! My skin also does not like shea butter or silicones 😣 I also love a glow to the skin, and something that doesn’t absorb right away!
@@adinadautova3735 thank you!! ♥️♥️ I am currently using illiyoon ato gel, beplain hylauronic acid moisturizer, and the soon jung sleeping pack but they definitely aren’t my holy grails! I feel like I’ve been researching nonstop for the perfect moisturizer 🙃
combo skin here! my ride or die products so far are- oil cleanser: kosé speedy cleansing oil reg cleanser: needly gel cleanser sunscreen: beauty of joseon sunscreen haven’t found holy grail products for the rest of the categories yet but i’m definitely checking out your recommendations! ❤️
I have combo acne prone skin ✌🏻 I think my 10 would have to be: Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Cream Essence Numbuzin No.3 Skin Softening Serum Pyunkang Yul Facial Essence Toner Muji Cleansing Oil Hadalobo Cleansing Oil Anessa Perfect UV Suncreen Milk Thank You Farmer Sun Cream Spf 50 Melty Cream Lip Balm in Green Tea Nivea Lip Balm in Honey Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water
⭐️ Another great video Tina ⭐️ Here's my list: in no particular order 1. Naturie - Hutomugi Skin Conditioner 2. Rohto Mentholatum - Hadalabo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion (been using this for 10 years since my teens) 3. Rovectin - Clean Lotus Water Cream (thanks for the recommendation Tina) 4. Kao - Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50 5. Kao - Biore UV Aqua Rich Light Up Essence SPF50 (love the tone up feature, i use it as a make-up primer) 6. Dear Klairs - Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop 7. Tony Moly - Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner So far only got 7, still looking for more serums. Waiting for my Stylvava 📦, gonna be trying out Numbuz:n - 3 Bodle Bodle Repair Serum as per Tina's highly recommended serums 🤩 can't wait
Holy grails for me are definitely the Sioris cleanse me softly cleanser, the Laneige cream skin refiner, the Klairs watery oil drop serum and the Canmake sunscreen.
Great video! Sharing my list! I am dry, dehydrated, very acne-prone, and sensitive :( I found a lot of my essentials in terms of cleansers and moisturizers but still struggle with serum/treatment steps as acne prevention or reducing dark spots makes my sensitive skin react, breakout further, or it just dries me out. But these are my top 10 as of now--but who knows what it looks like in a year! Cleansers 1. La Roche-Posay Purifying Cleanser 2. La Roche-Posay Hydrating Cleanser (Awesome to switch between the two cleansers depending on the season or if my skin needs foaming cleansing vs creamy hydration that week and you get a lot for your $) 3. Then I Met You - Living Cleansing Balm (don't use it often as I try to wear less makeup. It's scented but my skin doesn't react to this and it's just sooo luxurious. It's my occasional splurge cause it be expensive) Toners/Essence 4. Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Cream Essence 5. Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence Serums I have yet to find my ride or die serum :( I’ll have to try that num.3 Moisturizer/Oil/Occlusive 6. DearKlairs - Rich Moist Soothing cream 7. Pyunkang Yul - Sleeping Mask (new addition but loving it under my rich dearklairs moisturizer) 8. DearKlaris Fundamental Watery Oil Drop 9. CeraVe - Healing Ointment Sheet Mask 10. Pyukang Yul - Highly Moisturizing Mask (I use sunscreens I just don’t have a favorite yet-though the Beauty of Joseon one is my repeat buy at the moment)
I like the p. Calm moisturizer but I have sooo many Korean creams that feel exactly the same. I will say the p. Calm water barrier sunscreen is INSANE! It is so lightweight and hits way differently than other sunscreens like it goes on clear without being sort of white like the BOJ which is way better for darker skin tones. And for some reason those BOJ and round lab look weird on my skin under makeup and sometimes clump up but p.calm dries down far less greasy (I’m combo) so it’s just the GOAT It’s just so good. And yes the nivea is excellent! My 12 yr old daughter doesn’t like any sunscreen but will use this one ALWAYS
Ugh, Tina! Your skin is so beautiful! I've been following your skincare routine and been buying almost everything you've suggested. I think I'm going crazy haha 😄
This video is a first that I've seen of your channel. I found it recommended to me on my home page. Right off the bat, I must say, that I LOVE that you put a close-up of your skin and while using the products yourself! It reminds us that you're a real person with real skin and real skin struggles that we all go through. Thank you for that! Edit: Holy shit, I just watched 3 more of your videos and subscribed. You're awesome!
i have mostly dry and combo skin type... 1. most Japanese sunscreen *it can be biore or skin aqua 2. Hada Labo Premium Whitening 3. The Ordinary Hyaluronic + B5 4. Hada Labo facial wash *premium or exfoliating 5. Neutrogena Hydro boost water gel *i know i know , alot of ppl dont like the fragrance but it works wonders for me 6. Kose Cosmoport Clear Turn Essence Mask *whitening, and it is in 1 big pack for 30 sheets and can use daily for 10 mins or less 7. SK II FTE (no other replacement, this one just works...) 8. Pair Acne Cream.. 9. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% 10. DHC Cleansing oil *actually i rarely use this...
I bought the mugwort essence off your recommendation im excited to try it! Skin type: combo/dry (currently 4 months post accutane) 1. DHC cleansing oil 2. Sunday Riley ceramic slip cleanser 3. Tretinoin 0.1% 4. Hydroquinone 4% (PM) 4. Timeless 20% vitamin C serum (AM) 5. Cosrx whitening power essence 6. Cosrx Advanced snail 96 mucin power essence 7. Peter Thomas Roth water drench hyaluronic Cloud cream 8. It Cosmetics confidence in a cream 9. La Roche Posay B5 baume 10. Creave healing ointment
My dry, flaky and acne-prone skin loves these products so much: 1. Tretinoin 2. Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb Moisturizer 3. Bioré UV Athlizm I hate cleansing, to be honest. It's my least favorite skincare routine, but i always try to double cleanse at night because it's important. I also try to exfoliate twice a week although it's not always a necessity.
Hello! I have a request: Could you possibly do an updated video in 2023 on the very best J and K beauty face masks you've used that AREN'T in the sheet mask category? I'd love to know more about the different skin concerns that are addressed the most effectively; from pore cleansing, to brightening, to fatigue, to lines, to ultra hydrating etc. I don't think this is a common topic here on TH-cam and it puzzles me why there aren't more NON-sheet mask reviews as there must be loads to check out, both high and low end offerings. I'd be particularly interested in YOUR selection and reviews. Also, I'd be really interested in reading people in the comment sections recommending the most impressive (as well as the most horribly disappointing) J and K beauty non-sheet masks they've tried. The bad reviews are just as important and truly useful.
I second this. I don't like the waste, but like the effect of masks. Unfortunately, the non-sheet ones are usually clay masks and it's not something I'd need. I saw some bean based ones that I'd like to try at some point, but they still have clay ingredients :P
@@lukastemberger YES! I've noticed this whilst shopping too. I have two clay masks and they're excellent-- I don't need any more either. The Beauty of Joseon Red Bean mask is EXCELLENT though. Very moisturising and non-drying. The other frustratingly ubiquitous option on shopping sites is 'sleeping masks', which sound horrible. Why would I want to go to bed with goop over my face? Yuck. So it's clay masks, sleeping masks and sheet masks and nuthin' else. Great.
@@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 Oh, that's the one I was going to get, Joseon... I'll get it now, thanks! :) I do like the way heavy night packs as they call them work on my skin. But it makes the pillowcase gross. Never tried to use an actual sheet mask overnight, I think that wouldn't stay on my face for more than a few minutes... I do like the Pacifica silicone forehead patch. It magically stays on my forehead all night, temporarily smooths out my forehead lines and makes any product absorb deeper.
@@lukastemberger Ooh cool, we've swapped recommendations and made two sales! I'm going to look for the Pacifica patch you mentioned-- instant results even if they're short term gimmicks are such fun and I'd love to try the one you mentioned. PS- Daiso sell these silicone sheet mask 'holders' which are transparent face masks which hook over your ears and keep sheet masks comfortably in place-- I'd be lost without them as sheet masks can move and slide as I go about the important business of, er, watching Netflix. If you don't currently own one, whack one in your shopping basket next time you're shopping as they're a reusable beauty tool you'll use daily, like your toothbrush. Cheap at Daiso but not too bad on Amazon either. Totally worth it. Enjoy-- and thanks!
@@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 Thanks, I just added one in my basket on YesStyle :) I also checked out Daiso products and there's some quirky and fun stuff to play with. I usually don't have problems with slipping (usually on my PS5 in my case), but these can be used on their own as well with products, right? I can't cover my chin with a mask because of the beard, so I cut it in half in the chin area and fold it up to cover my nose and cheek with a second layer. It stays moist longer that way.
My ride or die skincare list would be: Oil-based Cleanser: Muji Sensitive Skin Cleansing Oil Water-based Cleanser: Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser Treatment: 0.1% tretinoin (vitamin A) Moisturizer: Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer Sunscreen: Nivea UV Water Gel SPF 50 Body Moisturizer: Amlactin Rapid Relief Those are all I use daily and anything else like Hada Labo lotions or the Mugwort Essence are just occasional for fun skincare things for me when I want to treat myself and feel spoiled lol.
Happy to see a simple skin care routine and with some products I usually use (Vanicream, Nivea)! I have sensitive skin too and the FOMO is real with watching all these skin care vids LOL. Would love to try some of these out but man just don't want to deal with the break outs ha...
I have normal, sensitive, 40+, dehaydrated skin which reacts badly to niacinamide, many cleansers and acids, but loves tretinoin (?). I like watery products and don't like oil-based. I love canmake too and I believe in the toners and essences, they made the difference on my skin. My favorites: oil cleanser - dokdo or hada labo Water based cleanser - cerave cream to foam First toner - Dokdo - must have Second - isntree green tea toner Esences - misha first essence or su:m37 the secret essence Ceramide serum before the tret, ampl:n ceramide shot Vit C - melano CC Aloe vera - the skin food gel Illiyon ato concentrate for neck and decoltage, a must have LRP cica balm - a must have I struggle to find a good moisturizer for face and eyes and lip balm, still trying, Favorite spf - canmake the gel, LRP immune 400 the cream versión, BOJ and Blue lizard the mineral spf for hot summer days.
I cannot live without - ren rosa centifolia cleansing gel (it’s so gentle and refreshing) - Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid - Dermalogica Microfoliant (don’t come at me dermalogica haters) - skin1004 soothing cream - skin1004 centella ampoule (so healing) - Ultraceuticles MILD ultra A serum (retinol serum that’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin - it’s pricey but worth) - beauty of Joseon cleansing balm (emulsifies so beautifully and washes off clean) - beauty of Joseon sunscreen - beauty of Joseon dynasty cream - Benton ferment eye cream I have oily skin with dehydration and sensitivity. My skin goals is to prevent premature ageing skin, add hydration, soothe my sensitivity and prevent breakouts.
The perfect whip cleanser i ordered finally arrived, and honestly, it’s officially listed as one of the cleansers i’m gonna buy again. Usually when i get recommended cleansers they end up being hard to rinse and leave behind that hard-to-wash residue that is kinda slippery, which i kinda dislike, but the perfect whip japanese cleanser is easy to foam, easy to use and easy to rinse. It’s my first time using japanese product but i really like it!
1. Kose speedy gel cleanser or Biore make up remover (purple). 2. Sulwhasoo gel cleanser 3. Sioris first essence 4. Sulwahsoo time treasure eye cream 5. Peach and Lily glass skin serum 6. Then I met you renewing rich beauty cream 7. Biore UV sunscreen 8. Sweet chef *everything is great* beet face mask...and sleep mask... 9. Sioros falling into the rose mist or running out of time mist.
Combination, hormonal acne, sensitive skin 1. Either Heimish or Banila co cleansing balm ( I love my cleansing balm) but I also love DHC cleansing oil (but too bad it's difficult for me ti find one in my country) 2. Senka perfect whip - water based cleanser 3. Beauty of joseon ginseng essence water or Dr Jart's cicapair toner 4. Exfoliating Toner - Skintific AHA BHA 5. If I require a stronger BHA, Paula's Choice 2% BHA 6. Haru Haru Wonder black rice toner 7. Vitamin C - so far any would do. Currently using purito one but I might switch this 8. The ordinary 0.5% retinol in squalane (I only use this with haruharu toner and boj sunscreen twice a week) 9. Beauty of Joseon sunscreen or Biore water gel one! Keeping my skincare minimal atm. I would also recommend laneige water bank and somebymi snail serum! (Unfortunately I'm out of em)
dry dehydrated skin, acne/ clogged pore prone with some major post acne scarring! here’s my top 10 for lifers: 1. glow recipe papaya enzyme cleansing balm 2. krave beauty matcha hemp hydrating cleanser 3. glow recipe watermelon BHA PHA pore tight toner 4. cosrx advanced snail radiance dual essence 5. topicals faded serum 6. krave beauty great barrier relief serum 7. cerave resurfacing retinol serum. seriously tried so many, this is the only one that works and doesn’t irritate. 8. aveeno eczema relief balm for slugging. i used to use aquaphor, got this bc i had an eczema break out on my hands and just decided to use it on my face when i ran out of aquaphor and haven’t looked back. i also use it for healing fresh tattoos! (my tattoo artist approves too) 9. neutrogena benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. i get some fat juicy zits and this is the only spot treatment that really shrinks them. plus it’s cheap and available everywhere. I’ve tried so many expensive, more luxurious ones and nothing really gets the job done like this. 10. beauty of joseon spf! obviously. everyone loves her. i don’t have a holy grail moisturizer yet:( my skin just soaks everything up and dries out so fast it’s really hard to feel more than “meh” about most moisturizers. i have to later them so frequently that i don’t like to spend more than $50 on one bc it just gets too expensive. but as a bonus if anyone in a similar situation wants to know, i use the cerave moisturizing cream when my skin is really super dry and irritated, and the glow recipe plum plum hyaluronic cream when it’s normal. both of those can tend to still leave me dry from time to time, depending on how bad my skin is doing. would love a recommendation for a good moisturizer!!
⭐ finally for once i'm not super late for a new vid lol. and man, i love the hado labo toners. and the red one? works great for 'strawberry skin' (or keratosis pilaris) on arms and legs! here's my 10 1) hado labo premium, the gold bottle 2) naturie skin conditioner (thanks to you! i even spray this on my wavy hair sometimes if i'm going to let it air dry) 3) iunik propolis vitamin synergy serum 4) iunik black snail restore cream 5) iunik centella calming gel cream (notice a pattern? lol) 6) neutrogena liquid fragrance-free gentle cleanser (the gold stuff) 7) stridex alcohol free salycylic acid maximum facial pads (the red jar) 8) rohto melano cc intensive (really tempted to try the masks but i think it might be too intense for me, i only use the essence as a spot treatment) 9) the saem iceland hydrating eye stick (omg i use this so many times a day when working from home, feels wonderful especially during allergy season) 10) the canmake sunscreen featured in this video :)
I don't have a full HG list that I'd have for the rest of my life yet, but I'm going to take you up on the Beauty of Joseon sun screen cause it looks sooo pretty! I've got oily/ sensitive skin, so fingers crossed for no breakouts 🤞
Omg you’re the FIRST TH-camr to show us how the first cleanser emulsifiers when water is applied! It’s such a helpful thing to include but is so overlooked! I as a viewer who’s trying to make up my mind about whether to purchase an oil based cleanser find it very helpful to SEEE it’s emulsifying power, does it look like it washes way clean? Things like that so THANK YOU and I will be subscribing!!
My dry sensitive skin routine for the rest of my lifeee 1. Heimish all clean balm (very moisturizing) 2. Face wash (honestly i haven’t find like my go to face wash yet) :( 3. Exfoliater - Paula choice 2% bha 4. Tonerr - laneige cream skin refiner 5. Essence - cosrx snail mucin essence 6. Serum - numbuzin no.3 serum hihi (thank you for recommending thiss!) 7. Moisturizer - illiyoon ato ceramide 8. Sunscreen - isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel If my skin need helps to calm down any irritation or whatsoever - krave beauty great barrier relief ♥️♥️♥️
my current skin care routine (combo/oily skin, oily t-zone): 1. cerave cleanser (doesnt dry my skin out, 60s rule) 2. i’m from rice toner (often two layers, hydrating, brightening, but expensive) 3. klairs midnight blue calming cream (effective, reduces redness, but not moisturizing enough) 4. aromatica aloe vera gel (my HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT, damn it’s soo hydrating, skin feels soft and smooth, even on the next day) 5. biore uv sunscreen (soo lightweight, love the consistency) waiting for these new products, very exciteddd: - rovectin cleanser - klairs gentle facial cleansing oil - i’m from mugwort mask
The Nivea UV Super Water Gel has been my favorite for a long time. I bought a UV mirror recently and have found out the recommended amount is not enough. You have to put another layer - 2 recommended portions are needed. It's the same with Biore UV Watery Gel. So if I go out, I will put on Biore UV Watery Essence instead - 1 recommended portion is enough. Also, the Essence lasts longer than the Gel.
Dry + sensitive skin here!! YESSS LOVEEEE the Canmake sunscreen it is my holy grail and I will forever use it so I'm so glad it made it on your list - Makes me feel like I'm using the right/best stuff lol!! I just love the finish it leaves since it makes my skin look so good, plump, and dewy that I just use concealer and I'm done ❤ My forever products that I use: Klairs - Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil, Aveeno - Nourishing Oat Cleanser, NEOGEN - Real Ferment Micro Essence, Numbuzin - No.3 Skin Softening Serum, Klairs - Rich Moist Soothing Cream, Klairs - Midnight Blue Calming Cream - though now I definitely am curious to try the P.CALM moisturizer ☺
I really want to try the muji line but not available here. We almost have the same skincare Oil cleanser : hadalabo Cleanser: rovectin Essense: cosrx snail mucin Toner: hadalabo shirojyun (also my favorate) Serum: melano cc Moisturizer: st.ives timeless Sunscreen: ra & gowori
I actually bought the muji oil cleanser on your recommendation and I love it so much!! I'm usually really exited to finish a product so I can try new one, but I don't want this one to finish 😂 That's how good it is!!
This was great! I don’t have 10 and I haven’t found a first cleanser that I would want to use for the rest of my life but here is my selection. 1. Neogen Micro Ferment Essence 2. Cosrx Propolis toner 3. Cosrx Propolis Ampoule 4. Stratia Liquid Gold 5. Illiyoon Ato Balm moisturizer 6. Issehan Kiss me Mommy sunscreen 7. Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Face Foam
Melano cc original; It smell like metallic citrus and the texture slightly more oily than the premium ones. I don't exactly know why, everytime I used it, whiteheads suddenly appears on my t-zone areas (which never happen when I'm using the premium melano cc). So, i just used it for my body. It slightly cheaper than premium one. Melano cc intensive anti spot premium essence; After using the original melano cc, i kinda scared using it, but I give it a shot. The texture is quite similar to the original one but less greasy (imo). It doesn't break me out. Plus my PIH fade faster after I used premium essence than the original one. It lasts me one whole year to finally turn yellowish. I used 6 drop in the morning (not every day). I personally adore the premium essence more than the original, and the scent of the premium essence more fresh and bright citrus.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video tina. I found myself nodding in agreement with all your choices except for the numbizn serum (I tried it and gave it several chances but it just doesn't work for me, my skin breaks out every time I use it), rovectin cleanser and p.calm moisturizer (but only because I haven't tried both of them). My personal top 10 would be: botanic farm grain ferment cleansing sherbet, cerave sa renewing cleanser, secret key first treatment essence rose variant, cerave resurfacing retinol serum, krave beauty great barrier relief serum, rohto melano cc vitamin c serum, my scheming bb amino 23 mandelic acid 18% serum (which I used 2x a week only), freshel whitening emulsion light, dear klairs midnight blue calming cream and biore uv aqua rich watery gel. Oh and my skin type is oily, acne prone with visible pores that reddens easily. (I know, I got very problematic skin. 😁)
Loved this video! I am still waiting for an SkII video but I know it’s coming and you’re trying it out thoroughly 😊 maybe you could make a comparison video between it and other Galactomyces products such as from Cosrx, Secret Key, Numbuzin, Time Revolution and more 🥰
Boring person here so mainly 2 skincare brands I would put down because I've really seen it work on my combination gone acne prone skin/face: 1. Cleanser: OSEA ocean cleanser (feels moisturising just from washing, I tried to switch to other lower priced brands but just didn't work 😭) 2. Toner? Attorege AD+ skin treatment is my to go now, I do feel it made my large pores less visible. Was using a rose water toner before but did nothing. 3. Serum: OSEA hyaluronic acid: if you only want to buy 1 item from them...this is it. Very quickly absorbed that u forgot if I did apply at the same spot before. 4. Moisturizer (day & dewy): Attorege AD+ face moist (Dewy glow!!! Light and suitable for all round humid tropical weather) 5. Moisturiser (night & matte): OSEA atmosphere protection cream (this is thick but light weight as well. You need to try this to know what I mean!) 6. Eye "cream": Balade en Provece Solid Eye Contour Serum (never expected to like this but easy to apply, no mila seed growth, and looks like I just highlighted my eye area in a nice way) 7. Sunscreen: Attorege AD+ UV White up UV milk SPF30+ PA++ (all good except after a couple of hours I start to feel some slight irritation on my face and can't wait to wash it off my face so definitely going to try the ones recommended!) 8. Mask: Kose Sekkisei clear whitening mask (used to be my favourite at removing white/blackheads but I opt for clay masks instead but don't have a favourite yet bergen AHAVA and OSEA...) 9. Mask: Innisfree second skin moisturising (on lazy nights, 15min quick fix and the effects look great even in the morning after! Super thin cellulose mask that feels like, second skin! Plus keep 2-3 leftover packets (after you take the mask out), and you can use it (on another cloth mask) for another application so super worth! 10. Mist: Old but gold, Avene thermal spring water (not so much for my face but whenever I have a mosquito bite or just need some relief I use this. Even my boy loves it on his face!)
I love the rovectin cleanser, my skin is dry and it's perfect as it does not strip my skin. I have the Neogen essence in my drawer as my next to use essence, and have used bottles of the Hada Labo whitening products which was my favourite skincare line when I lived in Japan. I used to use Hada Labo and Nameraka Sana a lot in Japan as they were cheap and also have good ingredients for the price! Melano CC was also my very first vitamin C!
Ive tried 4/10! Muji cleanser - i really like. Does the job well Gokujyun Premium - love! Very hydrating Rohto CC - easy to use Mugwort Essence - sadly, i dont notice improvement. Next is the Numbuzin serum for ne.
Only 5 came to my mind, the other 5 spots are waiting to be filled 😂 1. The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser 2. QV Skin Lotion 3. QV Gentle Wash 4. NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum 5. Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser ❤👏
This is my list :) I have very sensitive and reactive skin that can go haywire any minute so these items are my 'safe go to' 1. Muji mild cleansing oil 2. Muji toner - high moisture 3. Muji cleansing gel - i react badly to foaming cleansers no matter how mild they are, even that rovectin one/ tried soooo many 4. Nacific phyto niacin whitening essence 5. I'm from rice toner 6. LRP cicaplast baume 5 7. Avene cicalfate cream ^ a boring list but saves my skin when i get carried away when trying new products
hi loves here’s my skincare routine for my dry skin! i live in sg so I’ll list down the prices & whr I get it from. oil cleanser : kose softymo oil cleanser ( shopee @ $10 230ml but if u buy the refill 200ml pack it’s $8 ) gel cleanser : hyggee ph hyaluron gel cleanser ( lazada @ $15 300ml ) toner : naturie hatomugi toner ( shopee @ $9 500ml ) moisturizer : illiyoon ceramide ato cream ( shopee @ $27 500ml ) spf : beauty of joseon ( lazada @ $11 50ml ) exfoliate : the ordinary glycolic acid ( lazada @ $17 200ml+ )
My HG is missha mugwart essence,Cosrx snail mucin essence, beauty is joseon ginseng serum, mizon all in one snail cream, versed water gel cream. I love reading about everyones HGs, gives me ideas. I really want to try the smoothing serum
What a great idea for a video. I have a couple of HG products ie Dr Sams Flawless Cleanser, Tatcha Water Cream (so pricey, but as someone who has always struggled to find a moisturiser I get on with, I consider it an investment), and Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel. I love the I'm From Mugwort and the I'm From Rice toners, I always have at least one of them in my bathroom cabinet. The Missha Time Revolution Ampoule is always to hand as well (when you get to my age you need all the help you can get), it always leaves a lovely glow.
This is an excellent list and my routine is very similar. Muji mild oil cleanser isn't currently available at my local Muji so I'm using Kose deep instead but my second cleanser is rovectin, and my vitamin c is melano CC!
I was sad to learn that the Canmake Mermaid Sun Gel UV has apparently been reformulated and is kind of drying now, from what I've heard. It was one of the few lightweight sunscreens out there with no alcohol or fragrance, so I'm really mad about it. The Beauty of Joseon was the next one I planned on trying out, so I'm glad it gets your seal of approval!
Im a silent subscriber, i have bought biore and nivea spf because of your reviews and last night i binge on your hada labo reformulation vlog which is now added to my cart. If u get the chance can you pls also make a review on thr the best body lotions with spf. Im getting all these sun spots in my arms. Thanks in advance.
My holy grail cleansing oil is the Skin1004 Light Cleansing Oil. It’s really lightweight but gets rid of all of my makeup including waterproof mascara with ease. Doesn’t sting my eyes and doesn’t leave any oily residue on the skin. Definitely recommend anyone to try it out!
Dry Acne prone here 🙃 The ten products I would not live without: 1. Living libations neroli oil cleanser 2. La roche- Posay SA 2% cleanser 3. REN glow toner 4. Dr. Ceuracle kombucha toner
Skin type: combo (oily in T-zone, dry in rest of face) Products I'd use for the rest of my life (in no particular order): 1. Krave Beauty Oat So Simple Moisturizer 2. Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser 3. Curology Formula I think that's it! I'm a huge Krave beauty fan. I don't know how many bottles I've gone through of the moisturizer and cleanser haha. I just trust the ingredients and simplicity of the products! And my curology formula has greatly improved my skin's texture and reduced breakouts. Unfortunately I have been breaking out more recently (might be the stress from postgrad :')) so I'm definitely interested in some holy grail supplements to add to my routine. Thanks for putting this together Tina! Definitely will check these out :D
I've just discovered your channel and I've been binge watching your content for the last couple weeks! I've ordered so many thinks thanks to your recommendations and you're my fav skincare TH-camr now!! 💖💖
Hi, Tina! I remember discovering your channel after trying to learn about Hada Labo products and they have been life changing for me. My skin has been so healthy and improving. So I know I could trust you for new products for me to try out to be my go to's / holy grail ☺️
Hello! I had a question regarding Japanese sunscreens in general. I just purchased the Biore Aqua Rich but no where on the package can I find an expiration date. I just purchased this through Amazon Japan, so I assume it is a recent production. The same was true for the Rhoto skin essence. I wonder why there is no visible date?
Dude! After fearing Tina go on about the virtues of Numbazin #3 serum, I finally ordered myself a bottle this weekend. I can't wait to try it! I will also one day try the Mugi cleanser, but that is not going to be for a minute since I have a bunch of other oil cleansers that I need to get through. The DHC one was on sale a while back so I stockpiled a few.
Thank you so much for sharing this info!! I’m just learning today about J-skincare and I’m definitely going to get some of the products you mentioned ❤
Hi, Tinaa☺ Your video is very helpfull..thank you so much for making skincare videos, esp. the hadalabo variation..I was planning to buy the premium lotion, gold-bottled one. But, then I made mistake, ended up bought the gokujyun retinol in red bottled. I just hit 20 this year, concern if using this retinol lotion is right for me or too early. Hope you give me some suggestion whether use or just give it to my mom (whom I think need retinol in her age) hehe..thank you so muchh!!!☺☺☺☺
I forgot to include my HG acne spot treatment 😭 It's the [Lion] Pair Acne Cream and I still linked it at the bottom for the description 💕 lol
Omg it's also my favourite acne spot treatment!! Ever since I started using it and never use any other spot treatment ❤️
Does Muji have one without Olive oil? I always wanted to try their cleansers but I have to be careful because of I’m allergic to olives and products containing the ingredient. That’s why I haven’t tried any DHC products.
Ohh thanks!
Wuauua magníficas. Opciones
Can you have a video talking about the Pair Acne Cream?

Do you have any recommendations besides the purito deep sea water cream? I have used it but my skin hates niacinamide😣 I have been looking for a thicker cream at night, and it seems we have the same skin type! I really wanted to try the thank you farmer cream and gel hybrid, but of course there’s niacinamide 🥲
@@joannamarie_ hi! Oh that's a bummer :( my skin loves it, let me check my other favorite cream's ingredients list and get back to you 🤓😘
@@adinadautova3735 thank you!!
@@joannamarie_ i hope you will find THE ONE soon 🥰🙏 Good luck))

hi tina! i would love to see an updated version of this video and see how your holy grail products may have changed :)
⭐️ Another great video Tina ⭐️
Here's my list: in no particular order
1. Naturie - Hutomugi Skin Conditioner
2. Rohto Mentholatum - Hadalabo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion (been using this for 10 years since my teens)
3. Rovectin - Clean Lotus Water Cream (thanks for the recommendation Tina)
4. Kao - Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50
5. Kao - Biore UV Aqua Rich Light Up Essence SPF50 (love the tone up feature, i use it as a make-up primer)
6. Dear Klairs - Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop
7. Tony Moly - Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner
So far only got 7, still looking for more serums.
Cleansers
1. La Roche-Posay Purifying Cleanser
2. La Roche-Posay Hydrating Cleanser
(Awesome to switch between the two cleansers depending on the season or if my skin needs foaming cleansing vs creamy hydration that week and you get a lot for your $)
3. Then I Met You - Living Cleansing Balm (don't use it often as I try to wear less makeup. It's scented but my skin doesn't react to this and it's just sooo luxurious. It's my occasional splurge cause it be expensive)
Toners/Essence
4. Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Cream Essence
5. Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence
Serums
I have yet to find my ride or die serum :( I’ll have to try that num.3
Moisturizer/Oil/Occlusive
6. DearKlairs - Rich Moist Soothing cream
7. Pyunkang Yul - Sleeping Mask (new addition but loving it under my rich dearklairs moisturizer)
8. DearKlaris Fundamental Watery Oil Drop
9. CeraVe - Healing Ointment
Sheet Mask
10. Pyukang Yul - Highly Moisturizing Mask
(I use sunscreens I just don’t have a favorite yet-though the Beauty of Joseon one is my repeat buy at the moment)
pls try tretinion for ur acne, with a gentle routine. it did wonders for my skin
Did you tried numbuzin no.3 serum yet? Can you give honest review. I wanted to try that too. I have same skin type
My go-to's for plump and glowy skin!

3. Bioré UV Athlizm
I hate cleansing, to be honest.
I do like the way heavy night packs as they call them work on my skin.
My ride or die skincare list would be:
Oil-based Cleanser: Muji Sensitive Skin Cleansing Oil
Water-based Cleanser: Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser
Treatment: 0.1% tretinoin (vitamin A)
Moisturizer: Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer
Sunscreen: Nivea UV Water Gel SPF 50
Body Moisturizer: Amlactin Rapid Relief
Those are all I use daily and anything else like Hada Labo lotions or the Mugwort Essence are just occasional for fun skincare things for me when I want to treat myself and feel spoiled lol.
Happy to see a simple skin care routine and with some products I usually use (Vanicream, Nivea)! I have sensitive skin too and the FOMO is real with watching all these skin care vids LOL. Would love to try some of these out but man just don't want to deal with the break outs ha...
The sioris cleanse me softly, Pyunkang yul essence toner, and hada Labo premium hyaluronic lotion are my holy grails.
I have normal, sensitive, 40+, dehaydrated skin which reacts badly to niacinamide, many cleansers and acids, but loves tretinoin (?). I like watery products and don't like oil-based. I love canmake too and I believe in the toners and essences, they made the difference on my skin. My favorites:
oil cleanser - dokdo or hada labo
Water based cleanser - cerave cream to foam
First toner - Dokdo - must have
Second - isntree green tea toner
Esences - misha first essence or su:m37 the secret essence
Ceramide serum before the tret, ampl:n ceramide shot
Vit C - melano CC
Aloe vera - the skin food gel
Illiyon ato concentrate for neck and decoltage, a must have
LRP cica balm - a must have
I struggle to find a good moisturizer for face and eyes and lip balm, still trying,
Favorite spf - canmake the gel, LRP immune 400 the cream versión, BOJ and Blue lizard the mineral spf for hot summer days.
Your videos legit brg me so much joy. Love watching to unwind
I cannot live without
- ren rosa centifolia cleansing gel (it’s so gentle and refreshing)
- Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid
- Dermalogica Microfoliant (don’t come at me dermalogica haters)
- skin1004 soothing cream
- skin1004 centella ampoule (so healing)
- Ultraceuticles MILD ultra A serum (retinol serum that’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin - it’s pricey but worth)
- beauty of Joseon cleansing balm (emulsifies so beautifully and washes off clean)
- beauty of Joseon sunscreen
- beauty of Joseon dynasty cream
- Benton ferment eye cream
I have oily skin with dehydration and sensitivity.
Very joyful to use all the foam make sure moisture well afterwards as it can be drying at cooler times.
1. Kose speedy gel cleanser or Biore make up remover (purple).
2. Sulwhasoo gel cleanser
3. Sioris first essence
4. Sulwahsoo time treasure eye cream
5. Peach and Lily glass skin serum
6. Then I met you renewing rich beauty cream
7. Biore UV sunscreen
8. Sweet chef *everything is great* beet face mask...and sleep mask...
9. Sioros falling into the rose mist or running out of time mist.
Combination, hormonal acne, sensitive skin
1. Either Heimish or Banila co cleansing balm ( I love my cleansing balm) but I also love DHC cleansing oil (but too bad it's difficult for me ti find one in my country)
2. Senka perfect whip - water based cleanser
3. Beauty of joseon ginseng essence water or Dr Jart's cicapair toner
4. Exfoliating Toner - Skintific AHA BHA
5. If I require a stronger BHA, Paula's Choice 2% BHA
6. Haru Haru Wonder black rice toner
7. Vitamin C - so far any would do. Currently using purito one but I might switch this
8. The ordinary 0.5% retinol in squalane (I only use this with haruharu toner and boj sunscreen twice a week)
9. Beauty of Joseon sunscreen or Biore water gel one!
Keeping my skincare minimal atm.
I would also recommend laneige water bank and somebymi snail serum! (Unfortunately I'm out of em)
dry dehydrated skin, acne/ clogged pore prone with some major post acne scarring! here’s my top 10 for lifers:
1. glow recipe papaya enzyme cleansing balm
2. krave beauty matcha hemp hydrating cleanser
3. glow recipe watermelon BHA PHA pore tight toner
4. cosrx advanced snail radiance dual essence
5. topicals faded serum
6. krave beauty great barrier relief serum
7. cerave resurfacing retinol serum. seriously tried so many, this is the only one that works and doesn’t irritate.
8. aveeno eczema relief balm for slugging. i used to use aquaphor, got this bc i had an eczema break out on my hands and just decided to use it on my face when i ran out of aquaphor and haven’t looked back. i also use it for healing fresh tattoos! (my tattoo artist approves too)
9. neutrogena benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. i get some fat juicy zits and this is the only spot treatment that really shrinks them. plus it’s cheap and available everywhere. I’ve tried so many expensive, more luxurious ones and nothing really gets the job done like this.
10. beauty of joseon spf! obviously. everyone loves her.
i don’t have a holy grail moisturizer yet:( my skin just soaks everything up and dries out so fast it’s really hard to feel more than “meh” about most moisturizers. i have to later them so frequently that i don’t like to spend more than $50 on one bc it just gets too expensive. but as a bonus if anyone in a similar situation wants to know, i use the cerave moisturizing cream when my skin is really super dry and irritated, and the glow recipe plum plum hyaluronic cream when it’s normal. both of those can tend to still leave me dry from time to time, depending on how bad my skin is doing. would love a recommendation for a good moisturizer!!
what an amazing list and thank you for all the detail ☺️💕
⭐ finally for once i'm not super late for a new vid lol. and man, i love the hado labo toners. and the red one? works great for 'strawberry skin' (or keratosis pilaris) on arms and legs!
here's my 10
1) hado labo premium, the gold bottle
2) naturie skin conditioner (thanks to you! i even spray this on my wavy hair sometimes if i'm going to let it air dry)
3) iunik propolis vitamin synergy serum
4) iunik black snail restore cream
5) iunik centella calming gel cream (notice a pattern? lol)
6) neutrogena liquid fragrance-free gentle cleanser (the gold stuff)
7) stridex alcohol free salycylic acid maximum facial pads (the red jar)
8) rohto melano cc intensive (really tempted to try the masks but i think it might be too intense for me, i only use the essence as a spot treatment)
9) the saem iceland hydrating eye stick (omg i use this so many times a day when working from home, feels wonderful especially during allergy season)
10) the canmake sunscreen featured in this video :)
I’m so excited. I recently move to japan and there’s very little informative English videos about Japanese skincare
The revecton cleanser can we use for dry skin I have dry skin type ??? Tina
My dry sensitive skin routine for the rest of my lifeee
1. Heimish all clean balm (very moisturizing)
2. Face wash (honestly i haven’t find like my go to face wash yet) :(
3. Exfoliater - Paula choice 2% bha
4. Tonerr - laneige cream skin refiner
5. Essence - cosrx snail mucin essence
6. Serum - numbuzin no.3 serum hihi (thank you for recommending thiss!)
7. Moisturizer - illiyoon ato ceramide
8. Sunscreen - isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel
If my skin need helps to calm down any irritation or whatsoever - krave beauty great barrier relief ♥️♥️♥️
Ooo yay same HG serum ❤️❤️
how does the essence compare to the mugwort essence??
my current skin care routine (combo/oily skin, oily t-zone):
1. cerave cleanser
(doesnt dry my skin out, 60s rule)
2. i’m from rice toner
(often two layers, hydrating, brightening, but expensive)
3. klairs midnight blue calming cream
(effective, reduces redness, but not moisturizing enough)
4. aromatica aloe vera gel
(my HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT, damn it’s soo hydrating, skin feels soft and smooth, even on the next day)
5. biore uv sunscreen
(soo lightweight, love the consistency)
waiting for these new products, very exciteddd:
- rovectin cleanser
- klairs gentle facial cleansing oil
- i’m from mugwort mask
I'm going to Japan next month and I'm sure I'll fill my two suitcases to the brim with the amazing skincare products you mentioned 😄
Can you get a UV mirror on Amazon?
@@FourJaysFour Yes. I bought mine on Amazon.
Same here, dry and sensitive and kinda combination
As an oily/combo skin
1. Hada labo oil cleanser
2. Hada labo foam cleanser
3. Goodal vit c tangerine serum
4. Naturie skin conditioner
5. IUNIK centella sesum
6. BELO sunscreen
7. Illiyoon moisturizer (because I have acne medication)
8. Laneige cream skin refiner
9. IUNIK centella serum
10. Beauty of Joson sunscreen
Been using the muji oil since 2017, truly the best!! I love it so much. Deserves all the hype
I really want to try the muji line but not available here. We almost have the same skincare
Oil cleanser : hadalabo
Cleanser: rovectin
Essense: cosrx snail mucin
Toner: hadalabo shirojyun (also my favorate)
Serum: melano cc
Moisturizer: st.ives timeless
Sunscreen: ra & gowori
I actually bought the muji oil cleanser on your recommendation and I love it so much!!
I'm usually really exited to finish a product so I can try new one, but I don't want this one to finish 😂
That's how good it is!!
This was great! I don’t have 10 and I haven’t found a first cleanser that I would want to use for the rest of my life but here is my selection.
1. Neogen Micro Ferment Essence
2. Cosrx Propolis toner
3. Cosrx Propolis Ampoule
4. Stratia Liquid Gold
5. Illiyoon Ato Balm moisturizer
6. Issehan Kiss me Mommy sunscreen
7. Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Face Foam
Melano cc original;
It smell like metallic citrus and the texture slightly more oily than the premium ones. I don't exactly know why, everytime I used it, whiteheads suddenly appears on my t-zone areas (which never happen when I'm using the premium melano cc). So, i just used it for my body. It slightly cheaper than premium one.
Melano cc intensive anti spot premium essence;
After using the original melano cc, i kinda scared using it, but I give it a shot.
Love your list! I think I’ll try the ROVECTIN Cleanser next!
1. Shiseido Senka All Clear Cleansing Oil (going on 15 yrs using this)
2. CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
3. Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant
4. Paula’s Choice 1% Retinol Treatment
5. CosRX pimple patch
6. Rohto Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel SPF
7. Rohto Hada Labo Gokujuyn Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
8. Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream
9. Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream
10. Paula's Choice BOOST C15 Super Booster
my top ten ( for combo whitehead prone skin)
-blab matcha cleanser
-cerave moisturising cream
-tretinion
-nivea watery sun gel
-glowrecipe watermelon toner
-glow recipe strawberry serum
-melao cc essence
-hada labo shirojuyn lotion
-glow recipe niacinamide serum
-cosrx pimple patches
I have used 5 out of the 10 products and I agree. My list would look very similar to yours.
Loved this video! I am still waiting for an SkII video but I know it’s coming and you’re trying it out thoroughly 😊 maybe you could make a comparison video between it and other Galactomyces products such as from Cosrx, Secret Key, Numbuzin, Time Revolution and more 🥰
literally bought the canmake UV gel because of your recommendation. Worth every penny! Thank you!
I love the Rovectin essence toner but I don’t think I’ll purchase again because the hada labo hyaluronic acid lotion is cheaper.
Boring person here so mainly 2 skincare brands I would put down because I've really seen it work on my combination gone acne prone skin/face:
1. Cleanser: OSEA ocean cleanser (feels moisturising just from washing, I tried to switch to other lower priced brands but just didn't work 😭)
Light and suitable for all round humid tropical weather)
5. Moisturiser (night & matte): OSEA atmosphere protection cream (this is thick but light weight as well. You need to try this to know what I mean!)
6. Eye "cream": Balade en Provece Solid Eye Contour Serum (never expected to like this but easy to apply, no mila seed growth, and looks like I just highlighted my eye area in a nice way)
7. Sunscreen: Attorege AD+ UV White up UV milk SPF30+ PA++ (all good except after a couple of hours I start to feel some slight irritation on my face and can't wait to wash it off my face so definitely going to try the ones recommended!)
8. Mask: Kose Sekkisei clear whitening mask (used to be my favourite at removing white/blackheads but I opt for clay masks instead but don't have a favourite yet bergen AHAVA and OSEA...)
Does the job well
Gokujyun Premium - love! Very hydrating
Rohto CC - easy to use
Mugwort Essence - sadly, i dont notice improvement.
Next is the Numbuzin serum for ne.

I have found a favorite sunscreen. It's the Biore UV Aqua Rich watery essence
My HG is missha mugwart essence,Cosrx snail mucin essence, beauty is joseon ginseng serum, mizon all in one snail cream, versed water gel cream. I love reading about everyones HGs, gives me ideas. I really want to try the smoothing serum
Could you make an updated version please! xx :)
The Missha Time Revolution Ampoule is always to hand as well (when you get to my age you need all the help you can get), it always leaves a lovely glow.
oooo I really want to try that cleanser!!
The cleanser is a joy to use. There is sometimes free international shipping available, so it is worth keeping an eye on her website!
This is an excellent list and my routine is very similar. Muji mild oil cleanser isn't currently available at my local Muji so I'm using Kose deep instead but my second cleanser is rovectin, and my vitamin c is melano CC!

Love this vid!! So very helpful! Thank you!
Oh no when did the reformulation happen?! I didn’t know 🥲
You have a very good skin. Thx for your product review, it s very useful.
your skin looks amazing! what foundation are you wearing?
The Purito Deep Calm Sleeping Barrier Mask!! Saves the day
I ordered the white, gold, and blue hada labo lotions. Waiting for arrival!
I need this too! The type of formulas that I like come in such teeeeny bottles. I need a more cost efficient option 😵💫
Dry Acne prone here 🙃
The ten products I would not live without:
1. Living libations neroli oil cleanser
2. La roche- Posay SA 2% cleanser
3. REN glow toner

5. Timeless 15% vitamin C
6. Skin1004 centella ampoule
7. Krave barrier relief serum
8. Epicuren collostrum moisturizer
9. Isntree Watery sun gel
10. RetinA 1%
Skin type: combo (oily in T-zone, dry in rest of face)
Products I'd use for the rest of my life (in no particular order):
1. Krave Beauty Oat So Simple Moisturizer
2. Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
3. Curology Formula
I think that's it!

Hi Tina, is Revectin cleanser use as a 2nd step cleanser or can I use it alone I wear waterproof sunscreen with no makeup? Thank you in advance.

I love the Shiseido future solution softener or Eurdemin and also the Enmei ultimate serum
Hi, Tina I have a combination skin, can I skip my moisturiser step if I layer two thicker essences the one like rovectin skin treatment essence
⭐I also only started using the beauty of Joseon relief sun this spring/summer, but it's for sure on my list!
What do you think Isntree Sun Gel? I find it really great compared to other sunscreens.
Hey ...does. Numbuzin no. 3 help in minimising pores?
Can you make an updated video?? We wanna hear your current holy grails!!
Can u do a video about teenage skin care routine and there products
Hi, Tinaa☺ Your video is very helpfull..thank you so much for making skincare videos, esp. the hadalabo variation..I was planning to buy the premium lotion, gold-bottled one. But, then I made mistake, ended up bought the gokujyun retinol in red bottled. I just hit 20 this year, concern if using this retinol lotion is right for me or too early. Hope you give me some suggestion whether use or just give it to my mom (whom I think need retinol in her age) hehe..thank you so muchh!!!☺☺☺☺
Canmake 01 and rovectin cleanser are my ultimate favorite too ❤
