You need to do a new headlight test of the model Y with 2024.20 update. Now the low beam turn and the adaptive is pretty good!

Can’t agree more! Please retest the Matrix functionality! Also the differences between Highland and old M3 would be interesting, since the Highland uses some inferior headlights.
The adaptive headlights on tesla is horrible. I see all the time in Sweden when inside city and its still bright outside them activating the headlights.
Always get blinded by teslas much more than any other car.

Big thumbs up for your head lights test. This BYD convinces me that my next car most likely will be a VW ID.3/4 with Matrix. The low beam is way to low and should be adjusted, but the step up to the right is quite big which is good, but also makes the left even lower. The center high beam looks decent, but the spread is wide but much less powerfull. I'd like to have a much brider spread of the center high beam while the reduced brideness to the sides seams to be a decent compromise to not glare all around. I wonder why we don't get slow cornering/turning lights to the sides anymore...they bring so much safety for bicyclces and pedestrians in the blind spot. This new track is ok to see most things but it has less elevation so the height of the light is less of a topic here. But great that you have deers nearly in every video from there... that's exactly what we want to see to evaluate if a cars light is actually good to avoid accidents.

You need to test Model Y / Hella Model 3 with the Adaptative Headlights update. Now with turn lights in low beam mode.
Adaptive would be a bonus but not a much have feature. These I could give a 7 out of 10.

No idea why they put a SUV under the same name as a sedan, very confusing for customers. It's like if Ford made an SUV and called it a mustang all of a sudden, that would be crazy.
I don't know, but don't the Chinese like to imitate famous western brands? You know, like EQE Sedan / EQE SUV and EQS Sedan / EQS SUV.

You should get the headlights adjusted and do the headlight test again. They are adjusted way to low. They would be way better if adjusted correctly 😁👍🏻

Eehm not sure how they look IRL but on video they seem very poor. The high beam lays a bright spot just at the edge of the low beam.
The low beams seem to “light up the floor” like good foglamps, but the “down the road” curtain at the top of the low beam pattern seems way too close (adjustable?). High beams were very center concentrated, but an ok pattern added to low beams.
Isn't this a pretty cheap car? The dolphn is super cheap, you can't compare these to cars that are way more expensive. If you want decent headlights and other luxuries you have to pay for it just like with everything. The dolphin is a third of the price of a model Y, who expects it to have as good headlights...
I think I mentioned that already in the beginning of the video.
