Using a base body for this project, --
taken apart and used black dye on the hands, feet, trunks and head.
When removing the cape you need to fill in the gap and color match. Lots of yellow in this grey.
paint the boots and gloves-- wrist pegs and ankle joints
cut a groove around the cowl, this is a permanent part of the torso
cut a small piece of fabric to get the correct cut out for the cape.
transfer the opening to the cape, too small will cause stress marks and too big will be loose
stretch the cape into the groove,,,, glue down
wires is up to you. its not needed
remember to use liquid mask or tape to mask out the parts you don't want paint on
Sharing techniques to customize current action figures by painting or sculpting what is needed. Producing a figure the is either improved or just creating one from parts of other figures.

Wow that looks amazing the black on that grey he look more menacing. The blue and grey is classic but the black and grey that’s always been my Batman

Funny enough it's not a comic book look. It was first created for the animated series. The "black cape with blue highlights, gray costume and yellow oval" aesthetic was later adapted into comics.
This is what a the definitive batman figure should look like. Amazing work.

WOW! Now THAT is a stunningly awesome Batman figure! Great base figure to start with, so the final look would have to be terrific, and is it! Just WOW! Maybe the best overall Batman custom figure I have seen so far. 🤩👍

I will always prefer the blue and gray to the black and gray, but if you're going to go for the black and gray, this certainly is the right figure to pull it off well! As always, you did an epic job on this, and your capes stand way above other customizers! This turned out great!

When it comes to the costume with the yellow oval bat, 9 times out of 10 I will take the blue & gray combo over black & gray, which I normally associate with the large black bat symbol. The other option is the all black suit like the Keaton version.

Ingenius and extreme skills.
Could I suggest this (doing it on your action figure)on Knighfall Batman or DC Essentials Classics Detective Batman: darker gray, darker blue Batman (like in the Knighends comic), slightly gold yellow Batman background logo but not the capsule utility belt (pouch type but rectangular metal pouch w/ high-tech touch, instead of leather pouches like in Hush) if you also do molds for accessories but color it like Banpresto's Dragonball statues that are painted like it's an anime (cel-shaded) and then cloth, either bamboo fiber, bamboo-rayon or silk so it's shiny then mercenized it to make it shiny (jean sometimes do this but don't use jeans it's too porous). Then Bat-a-rangs that are black but not in the shape of little bat wings, it has to be a bit cool and modern but not Batman Beyond angular Batarangs.

I think I like these colors more than the blue.
If the buckle was painted gold like the 67' Batman that would have helped break things up.

I want to try making this but I only picked up one. The store had two but of course it was gone the last time I stopped in
I have 3 versions using one figure… you just have to choose…. I couldn’t…. I hade to remake my own 3 times over…
Added: I want to keep one untouched in case I mess it up while trying to customize it. Plus, having one blue in addition to the black would be cool. I guess I can wait for McFarlane themselves to do a repaint. That cape on yours looks sick though.

@@InkDropCustoms I usually just have one because of money and space. I’d like to try my hand at customizing. Maybe I should start smaller but this doesn’t seem too difficult. I’ve never really done anything like that before. McFarlane’s sculpts are really hit and miss and this one happens to be one of their hits for me. It’s not perfect but the proportions look better than a lot of their figures. The Hush one isn’t bad but I’d rather my Batman be a bit more lean rather than jacked up.

No puedes rebajar solamente las extremidades - también el torso… es mejor comprar una figura Mafex de 6” - o imprimirlo en resina
