Situated far south of Sabah, Sipadan itself is only a tiny spit of sand measuring roughly 12ha, however underneath is a metropolis teaming with marine life.
Discover by marine explorer Jacques Cousteau in 1973, he describe this dive site as an untouched piece of art! Remember this guy has high standard.
Voted the best dive sites in the world by many experts, this is the only oceanic island in Malaysia and was featured in almost all documentary series related to reef life that you can find on TV.

Dear c kology, if you know some NGOs there in sabah, please inform them to clean up mabul again. Vlogger jacob and chloe complained about plastic waste. They are suppose to do clean up each year. Another vlogger showed sea trash on pom-pom island too.

@@CKology this is pom-pom's sea trash location between two resorts. A lot. This couple wanted to help but just too many. So when/if they clean up mabul (the yearly clean up), please go to pom-pom. The place is beautiful no doubt but some areas has sea trash.

I had to say, when a lot of people said they had come to Semporna but without visit Sipadan Island, I feel sad for them, they are so close, so close to heaven, I know their tour-led may tell them no need to Sipadan Island, because their tour-led don't have the license to enter Sipadan Island.

By any chance, do you know if there is any PCR or RTK test needed for international tourist if fly from KL to Tawau (domestic flight)?
Thanks for watching. From April onwards you need to show negative result to come into the country.
If you are unvaccinated you will need to be quarantine. no quarantine needed if you are vaccinaed
Upon arrival all must go through antigen test on the spot.
You will need to download Mysejahtera apps as of everyone coming in to scan everytime you go into a building or facility.
No test needed in all domestic flight but airlines will need you to show them your vaccination cert before boarding.
