I've been to Catania but still there's a lot of interesting place to explore, thanks for this wonderful tour , now i know where to go the next time i go to this amazing Catania! Food is great for sure.
Thank you for sharing your video which is helping me preparing my trip to Sicily in October. I’ll be staying in Catania to visit around day trips and in Palermo too to visit the towns around, no cars using public transportations only. Is it doable to visit Sicily in train and buses? Any recommendations for lodgings in Catania? Thank you
Yes it is! We didn’t have a car, and used public transport is almost all places. The only exception was Marzamemi where we had to take a cab from another city to reach it. But everything else was by bus. In Catania we stayed in the Jazz Hotel
Thanks for these great tips! can you please share the name of the local trattoria where you got the wine and antipasti! looking forward to my next Sicilian holiday
thanks for the tips! I think you forgot to mention the name of the cafe where you had the wine and antipasti. Did you ever find out what those other things on your place were?
We found that place by accident and it was definitely worth it. It is called Trattoria del Cavaliere. I don't remember exactly what was in it, but Antipasti Buffet is the name of the dish. It was sooo good... Probably my favorite in Catania.
Yes, I noticed how everybody was out and about in the evening. I like that! I guess it's because the temperature tends to be milder after the heat of the day
It means more then my buddy it means family just not of blood. If that makes sense. And yep lots of donkey and horse there. I can’t explain how thankful I am for ur video
Not an earthquake it was mt Etna that covered the city. There is an old Catania underground and no one knows how old it is. Plus all the roman ruins. They stopped people going under because in the 1990’s a group of school students and two teachers got lost and have never been found. No one even knows how big it is. Crazy huh

hye ! any starbuck there ?
No, the Italians aren’t big fans of Starbucks. They prefer their own local coffee houses, so it’s quite hard to find Starbucks in the country
