Finally,a doctor who has compassion and speaks the truth!🥰Obesity is a symptom of serious illness. And it’s about getting healthy FIRST,weight loss being a natural consequence of health. 🕊️Thank you!🙏

don't believe the lies. plants can be the most harmful substance, their seeds and grains are even worse. kale is cow food, not people food too. vegans suffer from a wishful thinking approach to health

People who come to me to lose weight always think that when they lose weight they'll be healthy. I tell them it's the other way around. A healthy person will be a healthy weight.

I began reading your book and was scheduled to get a Gastric Bypass in 3 weeks...however, I believe I am going to cancel because I am losing weight rapidly from eating a mainly plant based diet...I eat within a 4-6 hour window, with breakfast being raw or oats, lunch being steamed or lightly cooked veggies wild rice and/or fish, and dinner being salad, sushi, or protein juice...I have snacks between the 2 meals of fruit and/or celery or beet juice, vinegar splashes in food and juice to get it in and keep blood sugar low...I lose at least a pound a day, at this point...down from 231 pounds to 170 since January...Thank you so much...we need medical professionals like you and your team to show that we have the tools to heal ourselves. I really don't think I need the surgery anymore...I had degenerative bone disease and arthritis was horrible...the pain has resolved...so I will talk to the surgeon tomorrow to confirm if I will have the surgery and I am praying for the right answer to know if I should.

You’re one great black doctor that speaks upon eating a plant base diet or raw vegan diet. I love it!

Thank you for focusing on this approach. So many who have weight loss surgery eat horribly. Never addressing the health of their body.

I have heard numerous time in very recent history that sickness through toxicity in the body is the cause and obesity is the effect. I thought about gastric bypass but could not do it and loss the weight by following Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Bobby Price’s videos. I also reversed diabetes and cholesterol issues.

It's true. People truly don't realize how toxic food like substances have affected them. The fat acceptance movement made things worse. It's easier when you're in your 20s and maybe 30s, but if one is still significantly overweight, the consequences start to show up. We all need to get back to eating real food and the health will come, which included a healthy weight

Healthy is not just physical. It’s also mental. I’ve known women who got out of bad environments whether a with a toxic spouse or parent, lost substantial amounts of weight. I heard a woman say, after her dad died she was able to come off her mental meds and lost weight.

Correction on her starting BMI.. it was 62.2. I know because I'm an inch taller than her and my highest weight of 250 put mine at 43, so I used a BMI calculator to check hers.

I am so grateful to come across this video! I needed this. I am ten years out and struggle with inflammation and weight gain. I lost 110 and regained 40. I tell my internist that I feel bloated and heavy, even seen a nutritionist a couple of times as well. I realized that I have developed lipodema/lymphedema. If I lose it is regained. I feel all of the symptoms your patient did and felt at my wits end because I am told to just lose the weight, go back to the basic. I was working out 5 days a week and lifting weights but my body looks like soft mushy fat and the scale barely or rarely moves. This information is a game changer for me.

Dr Montgomery, thank you for the valuable information that you constantly provide to your subscribers. I've been applying a lot of the information received from your videos and by the grace of God have lost a significant amount of weight recently. I wanted to know if you've ever come across cases of Gastroparesis at your clinic, and whether or not the same methods of nutrition and exercise apply when trying to heal from it or, do such cases require more traditional means such as surgery?
