Like how they did Ghidorah's necks. No games ever portrayed his necks as flexible as they should be before this
@Denver Meeks Most of the models in this game are based oin the Monster Arts figures, King Ghidorah included. it's why you can see some sort of joints at the base of his necks, and why there are SH monster Arts advertisement posters all over the buildings.
I like how they did the wings, making them actually feel like they’re part of the body.

In my opinion, King Ghidorah is the most destructive monster in the game, besides Destoroyah and Godzilla of course. I mean, look at how fast destroys everything with his beams!!
I think the absolute best monster for destruction is Rodan. His two shockwave attacks have fantastic range. One of them doesn't even require energy to use, and can easily destroy generators in 1 hit if performed correctly! The only thing keeping KG from being the best is his beams require energy, and how his moving heads have a habit of missing smaller buildings or vehicles compared to Rodan's shockwaves.

But either way, Ghidorah is a very destructive monster in this game.
In my opinion, Biollante is the most destructive. She so big by herself that you can just charge attack through any area.

at this point. they know how dangerous King Ghidorah compared to godzilla. so seeing how they are rebuilding everything only for it to get destroyed again, maybe they should just give King Ghidorah what he wants. but not in this game.

Okay, I know the PS4 game has its flaws compared to other Godzilla games, but I personally feel that people overlooked just how much effort Bandai put into making this game look and feel like a genuine Godzilla movie.
Probably the biggest thing I love about this game is how authentic it feels when I'm destroying cities as a Kaiju. Like in the films, I’m using the actual powers of the Kaiju I'm playing as in order to lay waste to the metropolis around me. Compared to the Atari Trilogy, where the only real way to cause major destruction on a city stage is just by throwing stuff at buildings. Whenever I play as King Ghidorah, I can actually fly around and raze the land with my gravity beams and cause mass destruction just like he does in the films.
Now I mean no disrespect to the Atari Trilogy games, cuz I grew up with them and love playing them just as much. But this game definitely trumps it in terms of delivering a genuine Kaiju experience when it comes to destruction of the game environment.

Honestly, just add maybe a few more monsters, make the levels bigger and have more variety, add more story missions besides just attacking the generators and improve the fighting system and you got a pretty solid game ngl. Wouldn't mind if they did a sequel that touched up on those things.

Fact: The Ghidorah featured on the bio is the 1998 incarnation rather than the 1991 design used in game. They were gonna use the 1998 design, but the powers of that one were too complex so they used the 1991 version, but gave it an origin more in line with his Showa version
This isn't the first instance of a game using the 1991 Ghidorah design and giving it an origin more in line with his Showa counterpart. A lot of official and fan content relating to Godzilla will often use the 1991 design, but make him an alien dragon than a man made fusion dance bioweapon.

Ghidorah is so destructive and so powerful.
That three headed Gravity Beam is so damn powerful, not to mention his three headed bite and flying triangle affack that deal damage as large as the Spiral Heat Ray Burning Godzilla uses.
Not to mention Ghidorah starts so damn large that you can just destroy everything by walking.
Ghidorah being able to fly and use his Gravity Beams is a combination that should be illegal, he can destroy everything by flying.
His wind flapping attack as his emergency dodge is the only downside to Ghidorah, alongside having not to great, not amazing melee attacks.
And Ghidorah is not a mindless rampaging beast, he is an intentionally malicious being who enjoys destroying things.

That probably would've cost way too much. However, the PS3 version comes with a Custom Soundtrack option, so you can actually implement themes for each individual monster encounter! Not a feature for the PS4 version, sadly.
@@SuperGodzillaGaming Yeah understandable, however sounds unlikely due to the fact they use the main theme already in the game in the end credits theme, and in the introduction to the main menu, so I do believe they could have used all the Toho themes, and 2014's theme as well, Bandai Namco is run by a prominent Toho production designer from what I heard so yeah

I really wish they had a variety of music themes in this game instead of the same.
I believe you can play your own tunes from a USB playlist, you'd just have to mute the in-game music. I've been meaning to try that with the currently running Online Rematch series.

So do you have a healthbar in this mode? I looked at all of the things on screen but saw no healthbar or anything to signify damage taken. So… what’s the point of the squads attacking you or fighting any kaiju if it does literally nothing
There's no health bar. Instead, the screen will gradually turn red around the borders when you're getting closer to being KO'd. However, if you stay out of range of the enemy's attacks long enough while the screen is red, you will regenerate some of your health (think of it like the energy shield from Halo).
