Zach, you saved my grandmother's diamond! My grandmother took me along when she went ring shopping when I was 3. It's my first memory. She bought a diamond after saving for years. When she passed the ring was gifted to me. I watched your videos and learned that I needed to get the prongs checked. After 14 years I had never had them looked at! The jeweler said the diamond was about to fall out! Thank you!!
Wow! So glad you didn’t end up losing your cherished diamond that belonged to your grandmother! I always recommend getting your jewelry professionally inspected every few months. Glad to help!🙏🏻
Where are you located? My son just got engaged and wants to have my wedding set remade for his fiancée. My husband passed away four years ago. This way his dad is still part of this most special time.
It was imencly beautiful. I love the way you put a band under the old one, so it can live longer. You are the only jeweler I follow. I like your comentating and your work.
With stuff like this I really think you should ask your customers if they mind if you film their reaction. It would be cool to see what people think when they get something so important back like this
I would still be deeply unhappy to have any footage of myself or my family posted without permission. I would, however, love to see reactions posted with permission. That would be such a heartwarming series!
My near 20 year old son is Just about to finish his jeweler's apprenticeship he's just doing a gem setting course at the minute I am so damn excited for him. Love your videos ❤💍💎
My grandmother's engagement ring, from the 1940's, was exactly like that, it just didn't have the side accent diamonds. I inherited it from her, unfortunately, an ex of mine had a drug problem I didn't know about and stole it. Still breaks my heart thinking about it. You did an incredible job as usual.
Love the longer content video! So much work went into that beautiful sentimental ring. I have some sentimental pieces from my mom and mother in law. It’s got me thinking that maybe I should do something similar. I love your work!
I absolutely love the reset diamonds in the wide band. If I could find my wedding and engagement rings, I would have you blend it with my mother's ring. I have so many missing rings. I either misplaced them trying to hide them from caregivers, or a caregiver stole them. God always seams to bless me good. Who knows what the future holds ❤🕊️
@@zachemighjewelry You are too sweet. If they don't ever show up, I'm sure that I'll find something better. Maybe the past is best left in the past. Maybe I'll run across something else that I can have you remake :)
The band ring was so unique,I can't help but wonder what the designs or symbols represented.I love that it's possible to save, and size a worn band ring with the gold sleeve, and what you did with the maternal grandmother's central stone setting, leaving it intact, looked amazing! Oh to be a fly on the wall when the owner saw what you had done to revitalize her two fragile, precious family heirlooms! And the second ring-! Just gorgeous,I love the open work and the hidden halo.Just beautiful!
This is so beautiful. I was very worried the end result would be too contemporary and lose the beauty of the original pieces, but this is truly a perfect combination. The ring looks amazing. Personally, I love antique rings. Their beauty is unparalleled.
Beautiful work Zach. After watching your videos I need to have my wife's center stone reset, the prongs are very thin and I'm afraid that she is going to lose that 1.6 carot diamond.
These are really nice transformations 🙌 @Zach The ring with the really high prong setting, is this what most jewelry’s did back in the 90’s / early 2000??? Just seems like the settings have come a long way
I am surprised that you didn't re-"millgrain" (?) the large ring to make the original pattern show up again. It looked like it had some kind of Native American influence to the design. Question - on the wide ring that you put around the sleeve: did you close up the gap somehow? Or did that gap kind if ease into the sleeve and look smoothly united?
Love the work you do, how do I find a good jeweler in my area? I have had my ring worked on 3 times in 25 years and have not been happy with the quality, and need it worked on once more.
I want to do this with my diamond, my mom’s and my great-Grandmother’s diamonds, but mine is princess cut, rather than solitaire, and wonder if it can be done?
This is a true story although it's my best friend's story but she wrote her grandmother's diamond ring for years after she died and one day she looked down and the main diamond was gone.... She looked a bit but figured she'd never find it cause she'd didn't even know where or when she had lost it.... She was bummed but got over it and her hubby had the ring restored with another diamond as a gift . welp if I tell you that almost five months later she was grabbing the mail and I guess that day the sun was in the right spot cause she saw something gleam in the box and she reached in and felt around the edges and her diamond was in the back corner of the box.... Unbelievable 😂😂😂
Both rings are gorgeous! On a different note, I’ve never heard the word “soder” before 😮…….sounds strange to me, but obviously it’s how Americans say the word Solder, as we do here in the UK😊. Not a criticism, just an observation 🇬🇧🇺🇸 x
I absolutely love your channel... You're doing a great job cultivating content that is both visually stunning and incorporates commentary that engages the viewer. I knew you must be from PA area bc of your (subtle) accent! No judgement, I'm from Baltimore which may be home to the grossest sounding dialect of them all (but iiiii don't have an accent😉). Thanks for the time and effort you put into your videos, and one day i will bring ya a big ol' princess cut set in rose gold to be sized. 😁 Jk,jk. I'm team asscher all the way.
Hey I was wanting to ask you a question Ik it’s a long shot but I want to know if you might be able to completely remake a ring from scratch I would be willing to pay you I had bought the ring for my fiancé as a promise ring that I would always be with her

Stunning ❤
I didn't know that rings could get worn down so much that they break. I love the low setting of the redesigned heirloom ring.
For sure, I see it often!
I, too, enjoyed the longer video content. You do beautiful work. Great artistry and creativity!
Thank you so much! I’m working on creating more, longer videos!👌
Love the longer video. My dream is to have my parents’ rings redesigned and crafted by you.
Maybe one day! Thanks for watching!🙏🏻

Laws have yet to catch up with social media. But in the US, you have no assumption of privacy if you are in public.
I would still be deeply unhappy to have any footage of myself or my family posted without permission. I would, however, love to see reactions posted with permission. That would be such a heartwarming series!
I love both new rings! You did a beautiful job.
Thank you!!🙏🏻
Very, very creative, beautiful and respectful way to blend the family legacy into a forever piece.
Thank you very much!

Beautiful work I love the band on her engagement ring perfect ❤
Omg, the last ring is BEAUTIFUL!!
Thank you!
Wow! I love the magic you did combining the 2 heirloom rings into one beautiful ring. The other ring is very pretty too. I like the diamond halo
Thank you so much! I think they turned out nice as well!💍
Wow learned so much about jewellery making. The new ring is so pretty. Love that you kept the vintage look.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!

I love both rings, sometimes you see the same thing again and again, I thought these were both very unique pieces.
I totally agree!

Thanks! You’re correct, I do see a lot of rings set high from that timeframe
Beautiful ring design. 👍

🌸🌸🌸Wow, beautiful job with both transformations! How long have you been doing this and where did you learn this from? Your work is so beautiful!🌸🌸🌸
Thank you! I went to school at the geological institute of America in 2015, so almost 10 years👍

Good question! I was able to blend them together for a smooth transition 👌

Pourquoi ne pas avoir mit la pierre centrale où il n’y avais pas de détails de l’anneau? Ça aurais été mieux je crois!
The engraving encircles the entire ring👍
I'd like to see video of earrings
Check out my Shorts! I just posted one last week with earrings👍
