I bought that same plate, how should the drilling be changed with bronze compared to steel, when the blades break inside the bronze? 1mm and 1,5mm breaks!
I can never get my cuts that shiny and sharp. what angle are you cutting your gravers to and are they c-max gravers or something I don't know about... lol

Do you know more precisely which bronze alloy you have, when I bought a bronze plate myself, it is hard and cuts into crumbs, while your plate cuts beautifully!
@@KaiSimolaHandEngraver this specific one is from jura, he sells them precut. Pretty convenient but expensive if your regularly practicing. Normally i buy a large sheet. And cut by hand with a saw and file square myself. I will attach a link for you - a.aliexpress.com/_EHF0D5X
@@KaiSimolaHandEngraver combination of practice, very well sharpened gravers and correct layout 👍and the face angle normally make also about 60 degrees. I prefer it slightly steeper so it wont break so much.

@@marcwilliams4188 hello, these are just regular carbide bar stock ground and polished using edenta ceragloss wheels. Here im using 60 degrees

1 question : Was it enough to cut the prongs in 2 ? Or the 2nd time when you pressed again ?
Do you think working with a 2x zoom is bad for the eyes?
I spoke to an optician about this. He said the microscope is fine for you eyes zoom dosent matter
