I found Todd's work about 14 years ago when my then fiancé (now wife) were looking for something unique for our wedding bands. We've been able to since visit Todd in Sarasota and pick several other pieces over time. Each item we buy is unique and worn almost constantly. Cannot say enough good things about these works.
That is AMAZING how you freehanded the swirls! Then added in the little beads to set them off just eyeing where they should go! OMG😱 Gorgeous creation!
Thank you so much! I have a new one coming out (very soon, just a few more late nights editing) that I think you would like. Its a new type of narration I have never tried before. Thank you!
You are SOOO AMAZINGLY GIFTED!! Breathe taking!! Giving new BEAUTIFUL life to those rings!! One day I will have one of your creations!! Im counting on that!!
You Todd are truly gifted !!!! Love watching your creations come to life !! My Mother used to make beautiful silver jewelry. She was so talented too . I want to eventually buy one of your creations !!!!!!
Incredible! My son purchased his engagement and wedding rings from Todd. They are absolutely gorgeous! And watching this video just makes me that much more appreciative of the craftsmanship! Thank you for sharing this. Todd you have a true gift.
Gary M..... My wife and I had planned seeing her ancestral Ireland for our 55th anniversary, but COVID shattered those plans. She had so wanted to get an Irish wedding band to wear next to her original wedding diamond. While looking for a ring online, I found a video of Todd making a wedding band and we were hooked. After watching many of your videos and looking at many many of your creations she settled on the one she loved. We could hardly wait until it arrived. Lyra was so helpful and friendly we knew that this was meant to be. The videos are mesmerizing and truly allowed us to watch your craftsmanship come to life for us..........
Beautiful and so interesting!! My partner’s wedding band is from your studio and it has been his favorite thing since I gave it to him, 15 years ago! How it became his wedding band is a funny story. I actually gave it to him after only one year of dating, as an anniversary gift. It is sterling silver. When we got married, 3.5 years later, he chose a tungsten band. He ended up breaking it at his job. A heavy pallet fell onto his hand, and the ring saved his fingers from injury but couldn’t be repaired. We got a replacement and he had it for a few years until it slipped off while swimming in Lake Huron. He then went to using your silver braided ring, and has been using it ever since. He loves it more, it has more meaning and is absolutely more handsome than his original band.
Thank you! Thats awesome! I really appreciate it! I'm about to release a new video today (maybe tomorrow...) I hope you like it! Thank you for subbing!
That was an amazing process to watch how you transformed that ring! Beautiful design! In a future video, I would like to see you making a unique design using an unusual gemstone (or gemstones) either as a ring or pendant.
I love to hear that! I have so many ideas and I would love to do an ornate pendent in one of them. I love working with gemstones of all different types. Thank you for the suggestion - maybe a cool opal peace would be fun to make.
I personally prefer vintage tools, nice old tools are usually the best quality but are hard to come by. I will search and scour for old tools. However, if you are just getting started a nice sturdy set of round-nose pliers goes a long way. I don't have a specific brand I use. It all depends on how it feels in your hand.
Wow, that came out beautifully Todd. I’ve done very little with gold( it kinda scares me, for obvious reasons). I dink around with silver a little but you make gold look like a lot of fun. My primary work is scrimshaw ( l’m a carver). Thank you for sharing your skills, l appreciate it very much.
I truly enjoyed watching your craftsmanship, a true gift!! I would love, love to have you design and create a one of kind masterpiece for me.. to be an heirloom for sure..
As my ex likes to say - "35 years and a day". This particular ring was slowed down because of filming and so it was a multiple day project. It takes a while to pull the metal down. Typically a ring like that is a full days work.
The marks on my fingers are from the magic marker I use to mark the bands, lol. However, I have had my fair share of burns, cuts, and pokes while making my rings. Thank you so much, I'm so glad you liked it!
How do you turn gold into white, rose and green? When I was in labor with my first daughter. My dad accidentally sold the box my mom had hid her engagement ring in. Someone got lucky. It was beautiful. He died 5 months later. I have his ashes but too expensive to turn into a ring, bracelet or necklace.
Gold can me made into other colors depending on what alloys are added to the melting process (example: copper helps make rose gold). I'm so sorry for your loss. If you ever have any other gold that belonged to her (or him) I could pull or melt it into a new ring. I've never worked with ashes before and I don't think I would have the proper equipment to that but I could rework any golds or platinums.
Not at the moment but I encourage you to start that journey. I am self taught and it took a few years but in the end it was worth it. If you have a passion for it, follow it.
That is kind of what I’ve been doing... I recently got an engraver, a dremmel tool, and a wood burning kit and I’ve been trying to get comfortable with each type of head. Ive carved a few things out of wood and rock. What I really want to be able to do is something along the lines of creating things like Hobo Nickels. I’ve been practicing, however, I really need some guidance. I figured I’d ask you. If I could even have the opportunity to watch you work, I think that could help me a lot. My grandfather made rings and other jewelry like my moms wedding band, but unfortunately, he passed away before I could learn from him.

I have several of these silver rings and am now thinking after watching the video, I have a gold ring that you might just make into a........
Into a.... wonderful piece! We do not really melt down silver but we could turn the gold into something new.
Any chance you are taking on apprentices?
