Living in Northern Nevada, highway 50 is a great ride. PS, the snow never did completely melt in the higher elevations of the Sierra's. Some spots had 700+ inches last winter

We absolutely enjoyed our ride across the loneliest road. Watch out for the Mormon crickets.
