Your thinking is brilliant and organic. Putting a “ band aide “ on the cause ultimately brings in more revenue$$$.! Thank you for finding the cause and making corrections. You bring the body back into wellness. Please don’t change...stay in your path. You are original and very much needed.

You're so welcome! We very much appreciate your support. We will continue to do our best to put as much information out there as we can so people are able to educate themselves on holistic non-surgical approaches to foot health. Thanks for checking out the video!

Great stuff Ray. I could not agree more with you that the key to really helping people is finding and fixing the cause of the pain and not just doing whatever it takes to get the symptom to go away. Addressing the cause of foot pain (or back, hip, knee, shoulder, etc) is not always the fastest or easiest way to pain relief, but is the only long term solution there is. I'm happy to have found you as a fellow believer in the amazing perfection of the human body. Keep up the great work! - Matt

This is a really beautiful description of how you're evolving podiatry. You're a model for doctors of the future. You've worked very hard to focus on your patients' health and brought in methods and tools from both allopathic and naturopathic medicine and worked with patients to objectively choose their course of treatment with the goal of not only preserving or regaining health, but building resilience.
This is the way that ALL allopathic medicine needs to evolve. Allopaths should be working closely with naturopaths and trained in health in addition to disease and holistic and preventative treatment should be supported by medical insurance because it's the right thing to do and it makes economic sense.
Natural and preventative medicine is much better for the patient and less costly to the patient and the system. It's a win-win, except for surgeons, hospitals, and pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies. But, those systems of profit are collapsing under their own weight as the public becomes sicker and less resilient. The way forward is to evolve the industry in seeing greater profit in health than in illness. You're the template for the future. And you're also a good soul.

So true. That goes even for the rest of the doctors I see. No prevention. Just symptom elimination. Rarely elimination of underlying causes. i see them as pharmaceutical salesmen interested in returning customers.

I've been using Correct Toes and going barefoot as much as possible since 2011... My bunions are not going away (one is getting more painful), and my toes are still crammed together even without the Correct Toes on. I still have foot & knee pain, and Podiatry wants top cut my metatarsal and reset it to 8 degrees from its current 16 degrees to correct this bunion. Doc says never let anyone cut on your feet, but that seems like the only option... Just don't know what else to do. For now, continuing to tolerate it, though it is becoming more difficult.

Thank you for sharing your journey. We are sorry to hear you are still in pain and hopefully surgery is not needed! Please feel free to schedule an appointment with us at Northwest Foot and Ankle - www.nwfootankle.com/scheduler/
Please continue to work at it as sometimes minor adjustments like Correct Toes modifications, or maybe changing shoe wear again can go along way.

@@correcttoes Sorry, I can't afford to pay for an appointment, I live in Alaska, and it looks like you don't accept insurance. I'm a retired Vet on a fixed income, so I guess I'll just keep trying other things.
