    Does the mount adapter reduce the reflections from inside the lights at night from inside the windows?

    @Peter von Panda, can you please do a tutorial on how you sync this to your phone, does the recording delete itself after a certain amount of time? etc. My neighbor (I’m in an apt, I know this person doesn’t like me) slashed my tires. There’s no cameras anywhere in or outside the building. Also, tech is not my forte, anyways I really appreciate your yt channel & I hope you can respond back, Ty 🙏

    Why come the cam looks sooooo big in your hand? 😱
    Won't work on cold/frigid Canadian winters tho😮

    Just curious,
    I have both V2 and V3 cameras.
    I noticed that the V2 recently changed the detection zone screen to a rows and column type of change option.
    The V3 still has the older rectangular screen where you can ( or could have) made changes to the detection rectangle, and it works fine.
    The problem i am having is the on the V3 cam when I try to move or change shape the detection zone rectangle, i cant seem to grab any of the corners of it.
    Also if i place my finger any where on the zone it will crash me out of the screen back to the main screen.
    Are you experiencing the same sort of thing?
    Thanks in advance
    Don

    Done that and do not like it because of reflective glare from some light source and object near by

    The camera is too heavy for this mount. I have 2 and the camera droops backwards. It's for a blink camera

    Can you swivel it, so my front door can be monitored?

    • @MrPir84free
      @MrPir84free 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Swiveling a camera thru a window works well under certain circumstances; but at night, you might end up with flaring; sometimes it is too much. I use a different brand, thru a window, at an angle, and had to mount it in a location where the main outside source of light was not visible by the camera.. it reduced the amount of flaring considerably. Best mounted perpendicular to the window but you will end up with flaring - more flaring with a wider angle camera..
      The flaring effect is usually much less during the day - as the light source is pretty much out of the picture.

    What process should I do for this action: start recording automatically at 12:01 am each day and end the recording at 11:59 pm the same day and save that video automatically. In that way I would be having a video of every day of the week. It's possible? how can I do it?

    So I have to comment here.
    Wyze Cam v3, is IP65 rated. If you do not understand what that means, the camera can be mounted outdoors. It will withstand the weather. The Starlight sensor gives you the colored night vision, w/o the use of infrared. The aperture on v3 camera is 1.6, where as v2 camera is 2.6. To use this feature, turn off night vision mode on the camera. If you opt-in for paid service of Cam Plus, and you get AI detection and longer-recorded videos.
    I did like the window mount option, but using it on a Wyze v3 camera seems rather pointless. And, if you think about it --- would be pointless on v2 camera at night due to infrared lights bouncing off the glass. The only camera made by Wyze that is completely naked to the human eye while infrared lights are turned on, is the Wyze Pan version.
    All of the Wyze cameras are currently only 1080p; hopefully they will create Wyze Cam v4 soon with 4k. 4x the resolution, that actually can read a license plate 30 feet away.
    Still great product.

      @jackmihoff7317 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How come it’s pointless when mounting it on the window will spare you from the trouble of setting up a way to power the device outside? And also, being inside, it’s safe from being swiped be someone

    • @muagwi
      @muagwi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jackmihoff7317 The guy is promoting the window mount. Since the window mount is universal, Wyze Cam v2 in this method will not work at night. Infared will bounce off the windows. Wyze Cam v3, will only work using the Starlight Sensor. And for that to operate, will need a light source, otherwise no. Humans need atleast 20 LUX to see at night, the Starlight sensor can be 0 Lux, but will require some light source. You can test it if you want, place a camera in the kitchen full darkness and see what happens. Then add a light source, fridge light perhaps then review. Each there own of course, but v3 camera would work better outside mounted at the top of the window, or on the 2nd floor on a window sill. The image quality would greatly improve, rather than washed out like in this video. Nice product concept, but take advantage of the features of a Wyze Cam v3. That's what I'm stating.

      @canadaroadrage1424 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@muagwi that's why wyze 3 has a spotlight add-on, if that's weak, use any motion sensor solar light

    • @muagwi
      @muagwi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@canadaroadrage1424 I don't think you got the concept here. The discussion is, mounting a wyze camera up against a window. The camera is not acting as device trigger, location trigger or using rules for action turn on a spot light cam. This setup is not approach, if this do that.
