I purchased the Thermomix TM6 in April 2021, and by June 2024, I encountered a significant issue: the bottom of the blade (the green part) had completely burnt out. Despite the problem, there was no available replacement part, and I had to buy a new set of blades with an additional $15 for shipping. This defect caused liquids to leak every time I used the appliance. In contrast, I had the TM31 for over a decade, and it remained in perfect condition when I replaced it. The quality of the TM6 appears to have degraded significantly, which is unacceptable for a $1400 product. Additionally, when I received the replacement blades, I took the opportunity to leave a review, including photographic evidence of the issue. To my surprise, my review did not appear on the website. After reaching out to the company, I was informed that a marketing team selects which reviews are displayed. It seems the review system is manipulated to only showcase positive feedback, which undermines the credibility of their customer reviews.
Well, you do not have to worry about me deleting this post. I’m very sorry you experienced that. I’m hoping someone from #thermomix reads this and makes it right. All the best.
Thermomix: 1.490 Euro Monsieur Cuisine Smart (basically the same thing): 490 Euro I live in Austria. I use both devices on a regular basis. A few details: The Monsieur Cuisine Smart is available directly from LIDL. The Thermomix is available directly from Vorwerk. Neither device is offered on Amazon. (Possibly available from resellers on an individual basis.) In Germany, there are numerous videos comparing the Monsieur Cuisine Smart to the Thermomix. In Germany it ist a big thing to compare these two items. Search term: Thermomix vs Monsieur Cuisine Smart. The majority of these videos conclude that the differences are very minor. There is a predecessor to the Monsieur Cuisine Smart, called the Monsieur Cuisine Connect. The device is okay, but not up to date with the latest technology. Both devices are fantastic because they save time and allow anyone to cook. Thermomix and MCC make any user a reasonably good cook. And save a ton of time. But they don't make you a master chef. One more thing: The thing about the 90,000 recipes is not accurate. If you set the language to English, as of today, the Thermomix has exactly 11,167 recipes.
I am sure that there will be competitors. Ford is no longer the only vehicle manufacturer. There are also other companies that have their own rendition of Thermomix. When my wife and I were wed we purchased a Miele vacuum cleaner. It was $1500 twenty eight years ago. Our friends called us nuts. We still use the same vacuum cleaner to this day. So yes, there are options and some are more affordable. There are over 100,000 recipes right now and I don’t understand why it is so significant that they be in English? I bought the Thermomix by clicking under you. I haven’t seen any information about you being my consultant. How do I find out if you are the consultant. You and Eva were great demonstrators.
For the Sorbet portion, can you control the "making" portion size? Cause it looks like if you follow the video, they already have a pre-set "Quantity" that you just have to follow?
Most of their recipes have a preset portion. I have made it with less by duplicating the recipe and saving it with half the amount and it’s worked fine.

I think you said that any recipes that are in the machine will always be there. Is that true or do i need to pay the $60 annual fee to access those? Im new to the thermomix. Thank you.
I'm confused ... your video description says this is not sponsored and an unbiased review, but in a comment response you say you're a consultant. If you will be making money from sales of a Thermomix, how can you be unbiased? I'm not saying the Thermomix is not as awesome as you say, though given my style of cooking, my counter space and my budget, it's not for me. I'm just confused.
Well, if it was a crappy product I would tell you. I happen to love it so I promote it because I think it’s a good product, so I became a consultant. If it turned out to be a bad product i would let you know as well.
It didn't work for stir-frying. I followed the recipe, but the bottom burnt, and as I continued cooking, the burnt food melted into the dish. I don't think that's a healthy way to cook.
“ not sponsored” “ totally unbiased” you just had a lighter thermomix sign made and just had the branch manager come out to help you .. I’m sure everyone would get that same support right ? 😂
Yes. I sold one to a chef in the Hamptons and Ewa visited him as well. I do personal demonstrations to people who buy from me locally and webinars with those who I cannot travel to.
When I first purchased one, I had no intentions of using it at home. My only experience with it was in commercial kitchens, and in my commercial kitchen it has served me incredibly well. If you purchase one, then it’s a useful kitchen gadget for your house or for your business. If you want to get involved with selling it just like anything else you could sign up as a consultant. I don’t make any commissions off of people who sell machines under me as a consultant, so there is no pyramid. I really genuinely appreciate the product. I understand that you will be skeptical as you should be. However, if you watch the rest of my videos you will see that I never represent a product unless I believe in it.

I am not being paid to review this product. If someone purchases one using my affiliate link I receive a commission. I would never represent a product I do not believe in. The truth means nothing to someone who has already made up their mind. It is your choice to believe me or not. All the best.
Thermomix while it is still huge in countries like Spain and Germany, needs to release an update soon. Both software and hardware. Bosch has cook-it which is superior in terms of capabilities but not in recipes and community. Also, can we talk about the ponziesche resemblance of the reference scheme? It has always been a bit sus and akin to a cult.
I agree with your last statement. I really dislike the way they promote their product. I mention it in a follow up video. They do make it very pyramid like even though it is not. I am unaware of the Bosch product. Thank you! I will look into it.
It's just a gimmick you don't need. There are too many meals I can't use it. And I lose very fast the interest when it doesn't taste as I would like to. There are just a few recipes that I would like to use it, like for a risotto or to make my own flour and bread. That's it. For those few uses and the lack of the stimulation of my senses while cooking by myself over the pan, smelling everything, vary with herbs etc... To me it seems like having sex with a plastic doll instead of a real human. Withe a knife, a cutting board, a pan and a pot you can make everything you want in the kitchen. :)
See, I look at it differently. I would never use it to replace my senses, knives, cutting board, good background, music, and a nice glass of wine. I would just use it to enhance what I already know. All the best!

Don't hate the man for accepting a deal, hes gotta keep the lights on. Just take this video for what it is, and take the time to look into the company's actions and buisiness model for yourself.
Thank you. For the record. Thermomix does not pay me or sponsor me to represent their product or company. The deal I get is the same one you can get without making videos for a TH-cam channel. All the best.
I have never known TM to do sponsorship. However, by his last few minutes it is obvious that he is now a part of the TM team and will enjoy the financial rewards that come with it. Just like all multi level marketing plans. Yes I have a TM. It is about 14 years old and I'm still in love with it. Because mine is older it doesn't come with the Cook-I-Doo. It does a lot of things that the TM6 does (not fermenting). I was concerned in the beginning that it would be another gadget, but it has certainly justified and paid for itself.
I am confident in my cooking skills, just like chefs around the world, and we highly value the efficiency of the Thermomix. While it may not be suitable for everyone, its value should not be underestimated.
This is a case of the Kings Clothes, LOOK AT THE KING HE HAS NO CLOTHES ON Thermomix is basically a set of scales for people that have no common sence at all, you press a button and it says add a pint of water, it then shows you a jug with measurements on you pour the water in and it shows a red line when you have added one pint, THEN it tells you to add One pound of flower, and shows you a screen with scales on, you pour in flour and it shows a red line when you have put a pound of flour in, Then for sugar add two tablespoons it shows you a spoon, you add sugar and the spoon turns red when it has two tablespoons of sugar in, THEN PRESS MIX I MIXES IT ALL, YOU POUR IT OUT AND STICK IT ALL IN THE OVEN To make delicious scones/ Yorkshire pudding etc SO ONLY £2000 FOR A PAIR OF SCALES A JUG AND A RECEIPE BOOK FANTASTIC Oh and if you save the receipe you can press send and the local supermarket at a price will send you all the ingredients you used or needed
Calling it a set of scales is not doing it justice. In the 4 years I’ve had it I didn’t have to take out my: blender, stand mixer, food processor, coffee grounder, scales, steam cooker, only took out the sous vide device once or twice to have larger capacity. I always wanted a rice cooker, egg cooker and ice cream machine, but didn’t buy those due to lack of space. Now I don’t need to, because it gives me functionality of those also… The guided cooking is awesome for people who can’t cook (both my brother and my husband can make whatever dish with the guided cooking even though they could only make scrambled eggs before). For people who can and like to cook it’s making the life easier: I don’t have to be standing over and constantly stirring a risotto, a hollandaise or bèchamel sauce. Making a lot of dishes is just a breeze. I have a kitchen aid I didn’t take out of the cabinet in years and with all the attachments it was 2/3 price of the thermomix. If you look at it as a set of scales for that price it’s expensive, sure. For me it saves time, money and a lot of space in my kitchen and for what it can do it’s actually pretty affordable 😅 I even got one as a gift for my Mom and she loves it too and she’s always been a great cook.
The other day I served at least 100 eggs Benedict. That was on top of my normal breakfast load on Mother’s Day. I whipped up a batch of hollandaise sauce, transferred it to squirt bottles, kept it at a safe temperature in a sous vide bath, and the whole breakfast could not have gone any smoother. It wouldn’t been impossible to make that much hollandaise sauce, and keep it from breaking without a Thermomix all in one batch, which is what I did. The guy who commented above, basically is saying that he is the king with no clothes on. “Look at me, I can cook, you can’t. So you if find a way to do differently than I do, you’re wrong.” it cracks me up that people can become offended by a cooking device lol. Cheers.
you can tell he is paid by thermomix to sell these overpriced blenders, who would have a thermomix sign in their home kitchen, so l would not trust any thing he says
If you watch my other videos, I have a sign that I change for every single video. Check it out before you make a judgment call! Also, I’m very transparent about the fact that I make a small commission when I sell a Thermomix. And so can you if you sell them. I do not make any more money than you would, if you decided to become a Thermomix consultant.

Unbiased? You're very biased. Not sponsored? This is 100% sponsored. If anyone else so happens to have a glowing neon THERMOMIX sign in their house, then maybe I'll think they didn't sponsor you. This is nowhere near as popular as a Vitamix, which happens to be the number 1 selling appliance in commercial kitchens, this machine isn't even in the top 100. I’ve never eaten more broccoli and apple salad, than I have this year in my entire life! And that sorbet is off the charts. All the best!

Nice but does anyone know if it does nut butter? Cause it's just about the biggest thing I blend
It does!
Someone said that he made tahini. I havent tried it but if it is true and it can butter the sessame seeds it is one more impressive ability ot this machine...
I LOVE my Thermomix. And Cookidoo. I’ve had mine for more than a year. Even though Cookidoo is subscription based I will never be without it!!!!!! Surprising how late the USA is to the Thermomix world. I love it, I love mine, I love it 😻

@@AwareHouseChef Thanks, i guess the chef has to do their own manual mathematics on portioning.
@888x8 I don’t think I would go less than half.

But does it have Manhattan claim chowder and salmon head soup. ? Or even just claim chowder New England type ?
Yes it does!
I'm thinking of buying one but I'm in Canada and I can't seem to find a list of consultants up here, and your link doesn't work to ship to Canada 😢
I’m sorry about that. My regional manager is looking into finding someone for you in Canada. All the best.

Stir frying is not a great feature

LOL so, is this like the Herbalife of cooking gadgets?

BLASPHEMY! Insatpots are amazing, sounds like you got a duff one.
I don’t know. It’s happened to a few people I know
Well, mine isn’t that great !
So this is just a blender with extra steps then..
Not really. It is a blender with an enormous amount of added features that I go over in this and other videos. All the best.
my mom got tm21 in 96 or 97 ,we came to US in 2001 we brought it here ,I still have tm 21 from Poland that is working in few years it will be 30 year old piece ,but year ago I got new tm6 as on the video

Not sponsored or biased? Oh really?
I am not. If the product were no good, I would tell you and I would never associate myself with it.
@karensanchez5749 there are no levels as far as I know. I do not earn money from consultants that sign up
I am confident in my cooking skills, just like chefs around the world, and we highly value the efficiency of the Thermomix. While it may not be suitable for everyone, its value should not be underestimated.
Mind blown…poof
This is a case of the Kings Clothes, LOOK AT THE KING HE HAS NO CLOTHES ON
Thermomix is basically a set of scales for people that have no common sence at all, you press a button and it says add a pint of water, it then shows you a jug with measurements on you pour the water in and it shows a red line when you have added one pint, THEN it tells you to add One pound of flower, and shows you a screen with scales on, you pour in flour and it shows a red line when you have put a pound of flour in, Then for sugar add two tablespoons it shows you a spoon, you add sugar and the spoon turns red when it has two tablespoons of sugar in, THEN PRESS MIX
I MIXES IT ALL, YOU POUR IT OUT AND STICK IT ALL IN THE OVEN To make delicious scones/ Yorkshire pudding etc SO ONLY £2000 FOR A PAIR OF SCALES A JUG AND A RECEIPE BOOK
FANTASTIC Oh and if you save the receipe you can press send and the local supermarket at a price will send you all the ingredients you used or needed
Now I don’t need to, because it gives me functionality of those also…
The guided cooking is awesome for people who can’t cook (both my brother and my husband can make whatever dish with the guided cooking even though they could only make scrambled eggs before).
Cheers.
Please stop saying, “Oh, my God.”
you can tell he is paid by thermomix to sell these overpriced blenders, who would have a thermomix sign in their home kitchen, so l would not trust any thing he says
WOW this was so impressive, mind blowing tech 😮

@@AwareHouseChef There is a new Shanghai plant for the asian market. Then they built a second plant in France for the rest of world. Only few parts are made in Germany anymore (motor, cutter). No final assembly in Germany since 2020. Saying Thermomix is made in Germany today is kind of deceiving.
@mkno I will look into it. It seems to me like all of the US and European models are made in either Germany or France
I would never spend so much money on something that horribly noisy and useless! I know how to cook, I know how to peel (way faster than this "marvel"), I know how to measure and convert the ingredients, I know how do kneed and bake. I just had do laugh when he said he would not have to have a blender anymore. For $2,250 I can have about 25 excellent blenders! If this stuff was any good, tons of people wouldn't be so desperate to get rid of it for a fraction of the price on eBay. Oh, and that broccoli salad? It looks like it just came from under a mower! What do you do when you have a family of four or five? How do you cook a soup with say some pasta, and make a pot roast and make mashed potatoes all at the same time, so you don't have to wait for five hours to make two or three batches of each dish, then move to the next dish, make the batches again and so on?
I wouldn't give this counter space. I make yogurt in large batches this bowl is small you'd have to make yogurt often.what a pain. A foolish, faddish bobble . Junk
The yogurt isn’t made in the bowl. To each their own. All the best
He failed to tell people that out of the 92K recipes, about 80k involve you having to precook food on the stove or oven. There are HONEST, UNBIASED, NOT SPONSORED reviews of this machine out there, THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. This is a paid infomercial.
@@dberube82 you have been watching too many idiots on TH-cam. Kindly look at the rest of my videos. I have a glowing interchangeable letter neon sign for every topic I cover.
