    Hello Robert, Great video. A tad too long of intro but content is excellent. I've been following you since your start - ( probably as N2lightmedia) anyways Your shoe advice has been spot on- I'm doing well with those sales. So I know taking your recommendations for men's shirts will be a winner as well. It's August 2021, I'm going to go out and look for, purchase and list these brands for this fall. I can see the money flowing like a river. Cheers my friend.

    Thx. for the info. New sub. I wasn't sure if RG shirts were going to be on your list by but to my surprise, it was your #1.
    Happy to see/hear that. I am a big buyer in RG long sleeve shirts for myself. I'm not a seller.
    Thx. again

    Dude! You rock! Just saw this in the AM and had some time tonight so headed to the thrift store. I picked up 3 Robert Graham's, a Filson, and 2 Kuhl's at the thrift today all for 6 each. I tended to ignore men's unless it was jeans - So excited! Thank you!!!

    New subscriber and huge fan. I am so blessed as my son sent me a box of his clothes and there was a Robert graham and a kiton. There was also a linen/silk Tom ford and now I’m super pumped. Thank you so much. Terrific information.

    The designers you mentioned, Gucci, Prada, etc of course they do well. Those other, Orvis, Carhartt, all sit, they don't have the following they once had. Robert Graham can also be iffy depending on the style. I currently have one that's been sitting in my store for at least 4 months with no offers.

    I’ve noticed a lot of this with the Tommy Bahama shirts. I’ve put up the Hawaiian Floral Tommy Bahama shirts and they sell for a nice profit usually within a few days. The solid ones sell but not for near as much and they take a little longer.

    🌞😁Would be beneficial if you said the name of the BRAND 1st instead of all the details about it then the name after.its my much easier to remember the info about a brand if I have that name to connect it with.by the time you got to the name I forgot the points you made 👔

    My guy you should show images of the labels/logos for each brand. I scanned into the timeline to see if you ever did that and since you didn't, I didn't finish your video.

    Finally a video in my wheelhouse! New subscriber. Peter Millar NWT button ups can do well also. North face button downs sell well but not at that $35 and above range. But I typically pay 3 bucks per so 3>24-27ish is still good for me as TNF button downs sell within a week for me. Same with carhartt shirts. Sells very well for me but again less than 35. Hard to find filson in my area, patagonia is surprisingly a dime a dozen lol. I will keep eyes peeled for kiton and visconti. If the Harley button down shirt is thick/heavyweight, put "shop" or "garage" or whatever in title. Lots of mechanics search for them for quality. Great video! 👍🏼👍🏼

    Aster/Tommy Bahamas/Nat Nast how much o think these would be worth .like new size medium

    • @robertmonroe4944
      @robertmonroe4944  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really depends on a variety of factors. I like Tommy Bahama shirts with the big designs on the back but if it is just a plain shirt that happens to be Tommy Bahama I don't bother with it. Nat Nast I have sold a couple of but not for the type of money that I generally want. Aster I have not dealt with. However I have only sold used items for these brands so I suggest you search ebay sold listings for new specifically to see what the going rates are for shirts like you have.

    Thanks Robert for the cheat sheet :) I am trying to work within a small space and 1K listings just isn't gonna happen. I needed to hear that out loud today, as I'm debating getting an ebay store for the holidays. I'm trying to stay under that 200 listings but I gotta make some cash too haha. 4th quarter I feel I should just put it all on the line. I'm in a sea of jcpenny and walmart brands. if its Northface or nike it gets higher price tags. I gotta find those hidden brands that goodwill doesn't know about. I appreciate your videos Thanks :)

    Hi Steve. I like your videos on selling men's shirts and ties. I am a new seller on ebay. I live outside of Vancouver BC Canada. I have looked in the thrift stores but can't find the brands that you say make money. Maybe it's because of where I live or that the stores here don't get them in. In this regard is it best to sell the less profitable items such as Chaps, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and make less profit on the items I can find while still looking for those you mentioned? As postage is so high in Canada I am charging the customer for shipping. i think I can still make money just less of it. What do you think? Thanks.

    • @robertmonroe4944
      @robertmonroe4944  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think a lot of it depends on what you are able to buy these for and if you are dealing with those brands then you want to make sure they are as unique as possible and the overall condition and listing quality is top notch. Great pictures, including all measurements, etc.
      Hope that helps!

    Do sports shirts jerseys tank tops still sell if the lettering has cracking in it

    • @robertmonroe4944
      @robertmonroe4944  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The less cracking the better but if it is otherwise a very desirable jersey then some cracking can still be a sellable jersey. However, when looking for jerseys the stitched/sewn on lettering will sell for more.
