Very nice airy sketch. Captain Tom is my sketchy hero as well. As for waterproof inks for fountain pens I can recommend Platinum Carbon Black ink or deAtramentis Document inks. Both uses Tom as well, I like more the first one.

Yes, the light would definitely have changed from when I took the photo and the camera lens is different than the lens of a human eye. Thank you surrected for the comment and nice wishes.
Hey~ from a guy who as been fighting the wind (and his brush, and his palette....) while painting, grab some binder clips for the sketchbook! it helps so much! and I like the splatter! I do the same!!
