About the raid...WILL IT BE FUN? I know this is very subjective. Most players I speak to either didn't find the Sandworm fun at launch or no longer thought of it as fun after about one month.
They had the best gearing system with the 600 to 625 change and they did nothing since except ruin it. A flagged chest run and one raid a week for endgame.
Its going to make two sides. One with experience and other that don't have. Meaning: Only those who want to get better in the game will manage to get better gear.
'Be happy with your 700 gear', I like that. Considering that most players are going to be stuck with it, they can learn to be happy with second rate items. Unless they want to RMT for crafting items, scam the trading post every day to get enough coin, or become an elite raider. Rolling the gamba boxes in the PvP zone is probably the best path to 725, and for some of us that just stinks. Thumbs up for great videos.
There have also been scrap changes, from nwdb looks like highest tier scraps are called infused fragments now and you can use them to get exp for trade skills starting at lvl 200 in the trade skill, idk if the old scraps get converted or not but could be huge for trade still crates
The Wurm is ONLY "easy" because there is a Boon of Artemus Pot "bug' that allows you to do a massive damage bonus for 4 minutes and when you have 20 people with those pots, the worm can go down just in phase 1 (ie before the Scorpion phase). If you don't do that, then Wurm is very challenging.
Uh... idk about that bug, but raid groups were clearing it within days of the raid release without ever using that pot. I would know because I was part of one of them.
TBH, the raid is the main thing about NW:A that I'm drawn to. The optimizations are definitely welcome, the story stuff is whatever, but the raid looks pretty high-quality and interesting. And importantly, DIFFICULT! I need something in an MMO that is difficult to strive for. So I hope they don't put it in and then nerf it when some folks inevitably complain until it just becomes another routine thing. Also would be nice if you could trade the stuff for those 725 crafts.
Bummed about the transmog token change. I understand why they're removing them, but that doesn't mean I like it. It was a big part in why I kept logging in, because transmog is peak endgame content..
They most likely added Transmogs as part of the battle pass to try to make more money out of it as currently it's nothing special and not really something people will want to buy.
Sad that the raid actually looks fun, but you can only do once a week... so what's the point?? Hell I don't even care about the rewards, I just want to play. At least the worm has that weekly rewards and then diminishing rewards on other runs. Why can't we get that here??
@MaleOreo well if that's the case then fine I guess. If by x1 rewards you mean the inductor and the eyes or something then sure. Rune forge is 2 times pee week and it was annoying
PvP in game has always been bad. Game gives players ESP, so they can see recently hit players through walls, trees, etc. The game has way too many stun locks, roots, long grav wells, etc. Hitting a flamethrower player does nothing, cuz grit or something. A heavy flamethrower all perked out is almost invincible, and devs keep that going for over a year. Way too many assist weapons, like spears and overly large hit boxes for musket/ bow. The artifact spear pulling players (mostly healers) out of the group or off a wall and stun locking them. It is just a broken game with way too many bad elements, so PvP will always be bad. Healers get absolutely punished with slower and bugged (in combat) mount times. Healer also seems to have nerfed armor, in order to make them softer. With the new aim lock, game over, just keeps going from bad to worse. Devs cannot even make a good PC game, yet port to console. Devs will probably not like the sales numbers. BTW all of the end game raids are also bad. No real reward. I tired sandworm 2 times, before all of the player gatekeeping. I will never ever join discord. I should not have to join discord due to the low quality in game comms. I'm not going to kiss someone's whatever to get a spot on a 20 person raid, where 2 to 4 of the players will be absolutely nothing to the raid. Devs want pointless 10 and 20 player raids. Devs have a never-was game to show for it. Open world unlimited raids were what the devs should have done, just like a few of the seasonal open world content. Whatever, just pull the plug... its done.

So if you don't enjoy (or are rubbish at PVP) and found the worm impossible then you're stuck with GS700.

Trusting AGS is like believing they actually play their own game well enough to understand it.
I feel they want you to farm the worm for full 710. To have a chance to clear the raid.

There should definitely be a way to consistently farm transmog tokens in game and not always tied to season passes. It should always be available.

bruh the wurm is easy asf, even pre 700gs
anywhere we can get the source for that ffa zone gameplay?
My bad, forgot to link them, both ffa and raid are in the description now!
no autolock, transform stagger on low stamina on pvp? have they listen to us?
Where'd you get no autolock from?
140 prismatic ingots is insane, would take a month to farm that. 14 days just in cooldown terms

we gonna get the crew back for wormy and new raid?
Are they bind on pick-up?

Oct 15 ⏰️
3 free transmog vs 17 per season. Ouch
I give it a month until people cry and they nerf the raid
CLARO
I keep watching these vids cause l still have hope. A little less every time though...
so now chest runs arent endgame? 🤣🤣🤣

welcome to the regular mmo rpg pve end-game
afaik the ui says 15 runs of gorgon per week but only 1x rewards

You dont sound like the target audience for this game tbh
Don't you new world.players have a no pot rule during duels ?
