I'll be leveling as IG/VG. "B tier" Takes ice spike until ~25 when you have the cooldown and crit synergies. But once it's up an running, practically unkillable in pve.
Bow Spear is great for leveling- honestly they're all good Spear is by far the best weapon for just solo play as far as potential best CC that still does damage in the game next to IG or WH. I think firestaff is generally a good weapon I just am more comfortable with bow, FS has a lil better AOE which is where Id give it the possible edge for just tagging groups of mobs.
All around i feel that the life staff might the best starting weapon, not because it is strong or whatever, just because it's a pain to levelup, might aswell do it asap
Its not needed until lvl 60 HOWEVER you wontrbe able to get a mount at lvl 20 without it. So if you don't mind running everywhere then no its not needed
@epps8686 Locking mounts behind a dlc is so stupid, but yea, that's fine. I only got to level 35 last time, so I'm gonna hold off on buying it. Also, Scandroid is very cool.
Decent list but a few strange choices. Fire staff too many mana problems until much later in the game, especially with the removal of heavy attacks costing 0 mana on the passive. Life staff has to be at least C tier if not D tier. If you just use the life staff it will be one of the slowest leveling weapons in the game and it's not close.
Yeah guess I'm prioritising speed and imagining near perfect play. I do think even if you go for the average player it would still not be A tier. You need to rely too heavily on your 2nd weapon to go at any speed and we arent talking about weapon combos here but single weapons
@darthasavage7213 solo is just fine, light attacks for refresh, beacon, sacred ground. It only becomes hard if you try to use another weapon for lengthy time. Use void off hand and drop oblivion and go back to LS lights until skills re up.

it's better to just pop a weapon lvl xp boost and join a world train with a lifestaff, you will literally max it in a few runs

LS might be slow but it has damn near 100% up time because the risk of death is super low for a casual player.

Agreeing .. LS is only B tier if you have a team constantly - it is by far the worse for solo. Which is okay cuz it stupid op late game.
