What are your thoughts on the Blunderbuss? I am gonna start with SnS and hatchet. I just love the leap from the Sword so much and I enjoy carrying a shield. But I realize damage wise there are more likely better options. Although the new Sword ability looks pretty strong.
I think the Blunderbuss is a good weapon. The strength/intelligence scaling allows it to be paired with a lot of different weapons. Also with the new target lock, it only gets better for both PvE and PvP. Hope this helps!
I know this was for solo but.. My son is young and this is his first MMO style game. I’m going to run it with him and it seems like he is wanting to go fire staff as his primary. I was wondering as a support to him if a flail/ Speer or flail/hatchet would be any good.
Congrats! I hope he enjoys. If he is wanting to go a mage route, I would recommend going more of a tank route. If flail/hatchet seems interesting to you, you can put a carnelian gem in them and each weapon has abilities to pull aggro of the mobs allowing him to DPS safely. Hope this helps!
@@JayDay32 usually Sword and Shield + War Hammer or Sword and shield + fail are good tank/support builds. (Combos used in all expeditions/dungeons even at very end-game for how efficient these build are) But feel free to experiment along the way (that's part of the beauty of not being class/weapon lock) and enjoy your journey 😄
for a more traditional tank role absolutely. He asked about the flail/hatchet and they both have good taunts and with the SnS changes it could fall out of favor. Would recommend GS/WH for actual tanking.
I use fire staff/Life staff and bang points in intel and once i get faction gear set to intel the fire staff blasts through both single and NPC's. I don't pvp as that boring and way to toxic.
If you are referring to gathering/refining, I would gather basically as much as possible while playing through the main story. Its always nice to be able to get some of the higher level materials earlier. Hope this helps!
How you feel about this game relaunching aeternum. I skipped the game on first release and after because the server issues back then. Would this be the perfect time to start or is it too dead on servers ?
This is the perfect time to hop into Aeternum and give the game a chance. The game was released far too early and with too many issues. Console does not have a game like New World so I think it’s safe to say that the servers will not be dead. Hope to see you in Aeturnum!
the problem that currently exists for New World in my opinion is that there is not enough material online for PVE builds or PVE in general, Is Always PVP, for example I would like to play bow/spear in PVE because I am not interested in PVP, I only find leveling builds and no builds endgame that explains which gear to take, perks to use etc etc. the best would be to have a site like maxroll. I'll still level with bow/spear anyway hoping someone makes a build for it.
Thanks for the feedback! I recently released a Tank guide, and I will be releasing a PvE DPS endgame guide on Saturday/Sunday. Hopefully it can help you out!
Great video bro just a small piece of constructive criticism.... After u were speaking on bow you went back to show cc on Warhammer lol. Seemed a bit off but all good anyway
Exactly what I was looking for as a returning player, thank you for the guide! Subbed
@@MrBonyPantsGuy I appreciate the feedback, thank you!
dont do this place at day 1-7 day it will be massivly overcrowded and make you lose tons of exp instead do elites from lvl 30 in brightwood.
@@pkman98 the video wasn’t about farming here or getting weapon XP. I would agree there are much better spots.
@@afarlie My apologies. I saw the video I immedietly tought about weapon exp..
Watched it futher nice video though !
@@pkman98 no worries, I did notice that I said weapon leveling guide in the beginning after I watched it back so I assumed you were referencing that.
Great Video what a legend! Looking forward to using this information on the 15th
Now i know what to play once the game gets update thanks obama
Obama was the beginning of the end for America
Nice job bro!

Great video.
I'll go GS/Hatchet, fun and solid
Nice! The GS/Hatchet is a very strong PvP option while doing good PvE dmg. Hope you enjoy

Glad to hear! Maybe the magical weapons are good for leveling now.
Should you wait till max level to go back and farming?

Thanks for the feedback. I realized that after I had posted it. I tried to keep all of the skill trees to run with the spear together.
I tried playing arena as a new player. Boy was that a bad idea. Literally everyone has 700 artifacts with best gear in the game.
Yeah, arena can be tough without the proper gear and team play. Get some gear and try it again!
so healer, tank or mage builds guides on the sights.....thats it?
If you need help with a mage guide, i could make one. For solo leveling, I wouldnt recommend it so it didnt include it.
Not only that, but the dates on those guides are from 1-3 years ago. Nothing updated on that website.
@@Raidwiper I will be releasing a tank guide today if I have time to finish it. I will also have a healer/DPS guide out by Aeternum's release.
