Well done with the Quali....Great onboard footage. Different than the usual helmet cam but still awesome to see. Really enjoyed the voice commentary. Keep em coming!
Hi Dirk! Thank you very much for posting this upload. I Think we all really appreciate the rolling feedback as you are trying to push. Not sure if anyone noticed but the lap where you had that great save on T1 your top end speed reached 123 before braking and again on a different lap you hit 123 on the straight and corrected again(slightly) but your best time was when your top speed at T1 was 120 with a very smooth entry/exit. It is way cool how you adjusted to make sure tou got a fast exit. Good Luck for the race and I hope to see more onboard videos. Cheers!! Sorry I meant 223 and 220- Yeesh what a dummy.
Your channel is getting more and more interesting. I would love to see a vid of yours with your detailed insight about tyres, strategies, setups, stuff like that. Keep up the good work on and off the track, cheers mate! Pozdro666
Well done, Dirk! 😍👏🏻 The most important is that you drive to win, giving the 100%. This attitude will surely help you improve your driving. If you won't win, at least you gave your best and it's good. Good luck! 🍀
That save at 8:13 was mega, no idea how you kept it pointing in the right direction, but great driving and insightful commentary. Hope to see more like it.
You've got a great channel, mate. I was watching a Kalle Rovanpera video on his channel recently. He'll also be racing a Porsche 992 this year, too. Good luck in 2024
Great with the commentary and love the editing and your dry humour 😁💯 Can u also tell the position the lap put you at in the end or include the session result with others times at the end of the video? That would be amazing for upcoming vids like this 😎
Great informative video. I have a somewhat similar driving style in acc 😁, but not driving at such limits. I learned something that I would learn to adjust a car too 🤣. Thanks for the good real world experience. And congratulations on a great Q
So you warm up the tires even with a pit road. I found the method of warming up the tires to be very helpful. The method of braking and accelerating was also helpful. Arigatou gozaimasu.
It’s like following a ghost in Gran Turismo, it sort of gives you an idea of what new lines you can take. For instance where you would normally break the faster car or ghost continues to go flag at a different line
Yup, we would definitely be friends lol need a road assistant? 😜 Really nice to have the breakdown along with the onboard. And yeah nice job getting aggressive through the chicanes and on that warm up lap sequence as well. Cool to see your progression even recently. Best of luck! Edit: lol at 8:15 🔥 superman saving the day hahaha
Hi Dirk, thank you for the upload with comments, I learn a lot from your videos for the Porsche Cup series in iRacing. Looking at your telemetry, I have a question: why does your throttle pedal never drop to zero?
Every time you brake, the Throttle appears to be under pressure. Do you leave your foot on the accelerator when you brake? Or is it just the rotation of the car? Sorry for the possibly stupid question, I don't know much about real motorsport.
When I race AI, I always do better when following them assuming their pace is similar than when I'm on my own. I like Zolder until the chicanes try to kill me because I looked at them the wrong way.
@@dirkschoutenracing Of course, I watch every content with pleasure, but sometimes people want to surrender themselves to the sound of the boxer engine :D
These onboards are amazing, looking forward seeing u again in Zolder!

I wish you luck for the upcoming races!

Indeed the Ghost can be very handy to see lines and braking points
@@dirkschoutenracing love the onboard video excellent work oh one other question who decides the livery on the car?
Your onboards are the best

You my favorite driver in porsche cup
It is true
Dirk is faster than you
The Power of "The Chase". I always get my best laps on Sim and in Karting when following equal paced or faster drivers.

I was thinking the same, hopefully he answers your question.
rev matching… Porsche GT3 cup car is a sequential transmission, no autoblipping and glorious sounding straight cut gears
Zolder is a no joke cirucuit. Very difficult to pass. a very technical track.
I don’t understand that you never brake with 100% pressure, even after a long straight, could you explain why?
You don’t want to lock up without ABS, 60% is near the limit of the tires and chassis can handle…
well done love ur videos
Well you be back for the 24 hours of zolder this year?
I hope so, will need to find budget to race there again

Hello, where can I buy tickets for your future races
Why do you only apply 60% brake pressure at maximum?
✌
Are you TC or ABS on a Porsche cup ?
No TC and No ABS
Привет из Таджикистана😊
if ur brake in to a corner dit you hit the brake full at first ?
Это Порше кап?
i which position are you in??in this championship??
Where can I watch you
You should take a long video with your head camera...
Will do that legend!
@@dirkschoutenracingLong video my friend, I can watch it without getting bored...
especially if it's a head camera...
Following make me drive much harder
Awesome?
Brother, just be quiet and leave us alone with the engine noise
That’s for my raw onboard video’s. Hope you still enjoy these and I’ve upped the audio of the engine whenever I don’t talk.
Listening to what Dirk says is useful, hearing on how he does things and the situation
These are amazing and will help him sell himself as a racer.
