TRADEWINDS COCKTAIL

IN A BLENDER COMBINE:
1oz (30ml) - LIGHT PUERTO RICAN RUM
1oz (30ml) - DARK JAMAICAN RUM
1oz (30ml) - APRICOT BRANDY
1oz (30ml) - LEMON JUICE
1oz (30ml) - CREAM OF COCONUT
1 CUP (8oz) - CRUSHED ICE
BLEND FOR 5 TO 7 SECONDS.
POUR UNSTRAINED INTO A TIKI MUG OR TALL GLASS.(TOP WITH MORE CRUSHED ICE IF NECESSARY)
GARNISH WITH A LEMON WEDGE SPEARED BY AN UMBRELLA THAT'S TURNED INSIDE OUT AS IF IT WAS BLOWN OPEN BY THE WIND.

Great video as always. Bruce, I think this would be prime to bring back the liqueur lab and make your own apricot brandy. I suspect infusing brandy with apricots and some sugar would creat something better then the limited offering we have. Maybe a vanilla bean 😋
That’s a great idea. Actually we did just recently blow the dust off the lab coat for a liqueur episode airing in September. (It’s still sitting for another month or so) but homemade apricot brandy is a good idea. Could make it along side the apricot liqueur

Mixing dark rum with white is dumb, you should've just used the 12 year! Or use some Bacardi 8 year if you want.
Or use all dark rum.
