UPDATE UPDATE!! I made a little mistake in the video PLEASE TYPE: 1350px for 4x5 ratio if you export - NOT 1080px (only for square ratio 1X1) - sorry guys!! my bad ✨😍 MUCH LOVE!!

If you export in 4:5 ratio, the long size need to be 1350px, not 1080.

If I export 1350 the quality after I exported is very bad? Why? I did ratio 4:5...
@@nicucretan6849 try shooting in raw. Use LR raw mode , edit there ans then export. Probably will

it also helps if you upload your photos from an iphone (yup unfortunately that’s true). i noticed a significant difference since i switched from an android device to an iphone 11, the quality is like 10 times better

Strange! I upload top quality photos on Instagram and they get compressed. I see product photographers uploading CRAZY QUALITY photos on Instagram, with absolutely no loss in quality.
Does anyone know the magic size and format for sharp quality IG post uploads? 🦋✨🌺
They probably upload from an iPhone, there's a setting for high quality posts that android users just don't have for now

The photos looked perfect when I first posted it on Instagram but then when I went back to it after few days later , they look very compressed. Like there's a noticeable difference. So I reposted the photos again and the quality looks fine once again like before.
Any idea why's this happening? I've followed the right settings . I initially thought it might be cause of bad internet speed but that's not it.

use 4:5 ratio, and i customise the long side as 1350x andi use 100% but still after uploading on Instagram, it get blurry when i zoom in the picture after uploading on Instagram plz help
Use 80% quality not 100%

use 70% thats the best quality & when u posting on instagram , sharpen it to level 7.
Images are compressed to less than 500kb by the Instagram app on your device before they're uploaded. Internet speed is not a factor here. Additionally, scaling down your images before importing them into the app is pointless because the app is still going to compress the quality of your image to fit that 500KB file size, and now you're just feeding it a less detailed image. The best solution for sharpness is to boost your contrast and import the highest quality image you can.

Its odd that when I zoom in the camera roll the original photo before edit is more crisp that the edited one....
Same for me 😂 I don’t think it exports at 1080
Because the camera roll picture isn’t compressed yet, when u post the picture instagram will automatically compress it to the right size… but in this video he shows you how you can do it manually so instagram doesn’t decrease it

I did all of this and for one of my photos it is still coming out blurry. I even checked that my internet speed was high enough and it was. Why does insta still keep compressing my photo and making it so pixelated?! It's happening if I try to upload it on Facebook too, but on twitter it came out perfect?

hey thanks so much!! sure - make sure it is the right size when you export it. Check for Instagram Profile Photo size and that's the pixels you should go for. - hope its helpful and all the best for your new Business

I’ve noticed quality drops way more when uploading multiple pictures in one post instead of uploading one picture per post.

But when i go it on an account which i just created and check the same people’s profile pics or even mine it looks so high quality?? What do you think the problem is on my main account?

My main account on instagram has not been updated to the latest version so my likes and stuff is still at the bottom whereas on my second account it has updated and my likes and things are at the top right. They probably changed the quality of pictures in the update but i dont know how to get that latest update on my main

Wow thank you so much for this! This is the only video I've seen that tells you how to fix the problem in Lightroom!! All the others I've seen only tell you how to change your Instagram settings to fix the problem which didn't work for me. I'm newer to Instagram so I couldn't figure out why my photos had such bad quality when uploading. Thank you!!
