    What Method looked the best to you? I tested a few other settings that I didn't show, but these ones seemed to be the most popular!

    So the moral of this story is that instagram completely sucks! Thanks for letting me know 😂!

    I did my experiment too. The method you called ‘just send it!’ works best. Thank you for your work and for the truth. I found your channel when I was looking for videos on this topic and now I'm subscribing because my experience has shown me that you are worth trusting!

    I export videos and photos with different settings and post each of them, check each of them and keep the one that feels sharper, detailed and as original as possible and delete all the other ones. I used to think I'm a maniac but, now as I saw this video I think I'm not the only one of my kind 😂
    I enjoyed the video a lot and thanks for the tips. I've actually done all those methods by the way. I also agree that decreasing file size has no effect on the quality. Atleast I didn't see.

    Heard about 1440x1800, anything about this ? Because when i upload to Instagram at 1080x1350 and then download with a chrome plugin it is still the same size. When I upload double double it is crushed at 1440x1800 and not 1080 when i download it. As I seen on other photographers Instagram when I download pictures it is 1440x1800. So maybe they upload at a bigger size or they upload it at 1440x1800 because Instagram does not seem crushing these to smaller size

      Instragram a while ago started allowing 1440px width photos instead of the standard 1080px, I think due to the increasing usage of QHD 1440p screens on top smartphones. I used to upload at 1080x1350 for portait (4:5) photos (just like krispy kreme) but one day I forgot to scale one photo and it ended to be uploaded at 5000x4000 (the native resolution of my camera -> crop to 4:5). That photo ended to be at 1440x1800 despite the others being at 1080x1350. I upload from my phone and heard of that not all devices support 1440px upload (maybe the ones that have 1440p screens are supported? My phone has it, so idk)

    • @PitNeex
      @PitNeex 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use the 1440x1800 method with 87 jpg quality as it is said to be almost as good as 100% Quality but produces a smaller file. Bicubic sharper on Photoshop jpg settings looks the best to me. Adding a bit of noise, to the final image used to help with banding but haven't tested it lately. Whatever the method Instagram will unfortunately remove some details 🤷‍

    Hi Anthony. I use caput to create reels for instagram. When I upload to instagram, my cover photo always turns red. I watched this video and thought I might need to downsize the photo? I didn't really know what I was doing, but I resized it by emailing it to myself, and choosing medium (480 x 640). It still turned red. Any thoughts?

    Are you aware of any way to just get LRC and additional cache (1TB)? They offer LR, alone , but you can't print from LR, which makes it useless to me. I am only asking because I gather you might know something more about the parameters of their platform. Thanks for your video!! I just posted my first wildlife pic and it looks like crap.
