I have a question! After posting my Reel, the quality was fine, I noticed it only turned blurry MONTHS later!! Whyyyyy? How can I get the quality back to normal without having to delete my reel and start over again? I find this to be so frustrating!!! 🤯🤯🤯

Is it normal if I don't put the stories in the highlights but then want to put them in the highlights after 1-2 months from the archive. They are then with very poor quality. can someone help me here

Celestia, it sounds like the upload settings might be affecting your photo quality. Make sure to check if 'Upload at Highest Quality' is enabled in your Instagram settings. Have you also tried adjusting the resolution of your images before uploading?
Man this does not work, I have tried all the settings including the one you just showed and my reels are still compressed and a lot from the quality dissaperas, and yes my internet is good.

Hi, Tanvi! Instagram sometimes compresses images, which can cause distortion. Try ensuring your photo is high resolution before uploading, updating the app, resizing it to Instagram’s recommended dimensions (1080 x 1350 pixels for portrait or 1080 x 1080 for square), and clearing the app cache.
Go to the profile page Click on the top right three lines icon Now scroll down untill uou see account option - click on it Then again scroll and find data usage option click on it Turn on high quality uploads and if the option to consume less data is on please turn it off

Instagram will suppress your video if it is shot in 4k. I think it is best to shoot videos using instagram app only not your primary camera app

Disable that HDR video playback that was messing up my quality maybe it’ll work for you too

Funny thing is, I had the iphone 11 pro max, i was having this issue so i bought the iPhone 15 pro max. Turns out i just had to change a setting :)
