    I made one scarf for my MIL and now working on another for my mom (Hers will be 40 ch st) I used a skein per scarf if anyone is asking. One skein does a good enough job being long enough

    That's such a lovely stitch, thank you, you always explain everything very clearly. I've got some gorgeous sock yarn that I wasn't sure what to do with, but it would be perfect for it, and give it a more ethereal quality. I might even add a little seed beading. Bless you. 😊

    I'm a total beginner so still learning to adjust my hooks and yarns to achieve what I want... I may try the bigger hook for these sorts of projects too, as I did find my hat attempt using 4mm hook / DK to be slightly stiff fabric for a hat! I have this scarf on my to-make list!

  • @leamorioka7248
    @leamorioka7248 ปีที่แล้ว

    Row one: I needed to make adjustment on row one. Skipping 6 between the clusters caused that row to be too loose & compared to the rest of the rows. Instead, I skipped 4 chains & cluster in the 5th. This worked for me with 3 ply yarn & H hook.

    Hi. I have a question and I'll be grateful if you can answer. I hate yarn that was supposed to be for 3-3.5 hook but seems thinner and almost for a 2.5 hook. I started to use another pattern using 2 strands from 2 balls of thread simultaneously to thicken the stiches.
    Is it possible to do this pattern with such thin yarn. If i use a single thread with your pattern will it look the same and work out, or will it look thinner?

  • @promise372

    I keep messing this one up 😞 I pause and rewind and make a mess lol it's beautiful! Maybe some day I'll get it right

    • @dragonation1733
      @dragonation1733 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no clue if you are still trying to make this stitch, but I found that tightening up the stitches help a lot. I made mine a bit loosely, and it looked like a stringy mess, but when I made the stitches much tighter it looked much nicer. Since I was using a 4.5mm yarn, I also had to adjust my initial chain length so it didn't look as wide at the end or have massive gaps (I just reduced the amount of chains in the gaps from 5 to 4, so about 26 chains total, and that got it just about the right size). I hope this helps if you are still struggling or still interested!

    • @promise372
      @promise372 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dragonation1733 thank you, yes still struggling.. I took a break from it because I don't want to become too frustrated and give up. Definitely will try this tomorrow. Part of me still wants to get it right. Thanks again 💜

    I just finished making this pattern looks gorgeous but i was wondering why 1 end of the scarf there is a weird spacing where there is a line in the middle, what is that about? It’s hard to explain without taking a picture but that’s the best way or me to explain, just want to know why? The fringes doesn’t look right on 1 end and the spacing is an issue here is a space in the middle of the 1st fringe to the rest of them, the rest of them are fine but it’s just the 1st fringe spacing is weird………
