Met my husband online on my birthday and 9months later we got married, we just celebrated 3yrs last month. It happens when it happens.
Like many of the ladies in the comments, I knew my husband was the one within about a week of talking. We met on a nerdy Myers-Briggs typology dating app, he flew out to visit me within 2 months, proposed 3 months later, I moved halfway across the country (from NJ to MO) the next month, and we were married a few months after that. All told, it didn't take very long AT all. We have never been happier.

@Lola Blue Acutually she didn't say the exact dating app. If you go back and re-read..she stated they "type" of dating app. Myers Briggs is a personality test that you can take and the dating app she used matches you based on that process.

I met my husband online… talked/FaceTimed for a few weeks, finally met in person and we both knew very quickly we had met ‘The One’! He proposed 10 months later and we married 4 months after that. We both could not be happier with one another ☺️ And all I was trying to do online was build up a rooster 🤷🏾♀️ He squashed those plans QUICK! 😊

I remember when Tamron did local news in Chicago. I'd see her all over town on her pink Harley Davidson with her motorcycle crew. She frequented the restaurant I worked at & was always so nice, approachable and generous with the tips. I'm glad to see her growth in media🙌🏽

My relationship was new he asked if I wanted a baby; I was 34 I said, yes, we got married when the baby was 5 mos. old and we had our 10th anniversary this year. He is calm and a great Dad.

I met my husband at 30. We all know women give up hope by then, I never did. At 3 months my husband and I were married, and 6 years going strong. We built our business together, and he completes me. It’s sad when we are exceptional as black women, and we have to wait longer but don’t lose faith!

I don't see Tamaron's resemblance to Lola Folana, the haircut and the skin complexion are similar, however they don't look alike in their facial features. As a darker skinned Female, people oftentimes tell me I resemble someone who looks nothing like me, yet we are dark skinned so we look alike?

Sis!! First stop!! In a loving voice, repel the desperation. It will not attract what you seek. I can say this because quietly I have been where you are. Now...adjust your crown and make a list of what you seek, be very specific and do this ..put it away. Next, find those things that give you that joy and bask in all of the blessings you have around you. Seek new hobbies and begin renewing you. What will happen is that you will channel positivity around you and you will not walk with that tinge of desperation but confidence and without you doing anything...God will send the godly man for you. It may take time but we have to do the work. Do not accept less than in your meantime either. Whatever happened in your divorce IS the past...now forge YOUR future🙏🏽 You are worthy and invaluable and whatever happened in your marriage will not negatively define the course of your future. 3weeks, but they were getting to know each other for quite some time. She had already sized up his values and they moved in the same world.
That's the main thing for me, about them.
Although the 3 weeks moving in is a bit of an eyebrow raising thing.
They had known each other for some time, I watch her talk show, she and her husband have similar values.
I mean where do you find a 49 year old guy who doesn't have kids and has never been married.
Has a good career, is not a womanizer, wants to marry you and have your babies.

It may be delayed, but never denied. This is happening for more women these days. Ladies, don't let anyone tell you that your life is over after 30 if you're not married with kids. as you get older, you get to know & understand yourself more and life gets better. We live longer and can have kids at 40+ become your daughter's maid of honour. Many women live well into their 80s and 90s and beyond. Life is good :-)

I tell persons all the time it has nothing to do with how long you know someone and have been around the person. It has to do with if your spirits and values both align. There is the rest of your life to learn and find out everything else. Persons are so busy wasting time doing background checks and investigative work while missing out on the most important things. People can be so crazy.
